    Pho Ribeye

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff was very efficient and friendly. I came for the $10 pho lunch special and it was great! It came with a good amount of protein and noodles. The broth was very flavorful and delicious.

Pho is great anytime, especially when you need a warm soupy meal. They have 8 different options for noodles. I ordered the large bowl and the portion size of the beef was generous. The pho came out really quick and staff were attentive. The prices are reasonable.

Some parking right in the back or use the city structure behind They have a huge menu that seems ever growing Lots of starters - rice dishes, noodles, udon, sandwiches bun xeo, bun can, porridge, bahn beo Chen, drinks and desserts too. They pack well for Togo orders too

Was craving for some pho one afternoon while running errands. This popped up. Small parking lot or street parking. Can be easily missed. I was seated and looked through their extensive menu. Went with the egg rolls and combination pho with the meat on the side. Combination pho came out piping hot. Broth check before adding herbs, veggies and sauces. Had a slight sweetness to the broth, but easily adjustable. The medium bowl alone was filling. It came with a lot of noodles and protein. Meat on the side is a must for that additional medium-rare chew. The egg rolls came out a little later. It came out on a huge plate with herbs, lettuce wraps and pickled carrots/daikon. This was meant to be shared, but I somehow managed to eat it all. Nice fry to them with the textured egg roll skin. There was a bit of a chew to it, but it all came together with the filling. All in all, decent place. Service was nice. They even gave out a small bowl of hot tapioca for dessert.

[ Food ] I ordered their Bun Bo Hue and Green Thai Tea, both were not really what I'm usually used to. The BBH was on the sweet side instead of spicy. The Green Thai Tea had a fruity taste, when I'm usually used to a floral/creamy taste. I would try their Pho next time to see if that's better. [ Service ] Customer service was nice. [ Parking ] There's street parking or a small parking lot on the side of the restaurant.

This is our FAVORITE pho spot in 626! Service is always quick and friendly. Food is always 10/10, so so good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is spacious and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We've been coming here for years and will continue to come here as it is our favorite spot!

Extensive menu. A lot of times when a restaurant has a bigger menu, not every item is going to be a 10. I do like that thy have the options because I feel like everyone can find what they like. From what I've tried, I'd return and try some other items next time. We had the banh uot with bbq pork & egg roll The bbq beef banh mi & the bun Bo hue. First, the bbq meats were delicious. Great marinade, tender meat. Cooked perfectly. I love thin rice rolls. Good fish sauce. Bun Bo hue looked promising! Unfortunately that was the one that fell kinda short for me. I loved the housemate meatballs and the blood cubes, the pork hock but the broth didn't hit. Very shrimp paste forward in smell. Broth lacked depth. Service was great, very friendly, dessert on the house was a nice touch, I'd like to try the pho next time.

It's my second time here - just been a while since my last visit. It was so long ago that I don't remember much about my experience so this time, here's my thoughts before I forget ... Like the parking, if you get here early enough. There's a parking lot adjacent to the building, as well as street parking or there's a large shopping center across the street. It's all free though I don't know what the restrictions are on the street. I know I didn't se any meters though. I didn't look for signs as I parked in the adjacent lot. Service was great. Not that much follow up was needed. Order. Served. Dessert. Bill. No refills were needed, but I'm sure with the way the staff is all over the floor, it would have just been an easy ask. Though busy, the staff was pleasant. The team all tagged team, including one who I believe may have been the manager - I noticed she was constantly scanning the dining area and directing staff. Then there was the food. See pics. You can't tell by the size, but it was filling. For me that is and if you know me, you know and I eat. I liked the broth - not too sweet nor too rich. The meat was a little on the chewy side but a generous portion. Noodles were standard. If I had to change anything, I would have liked more onions. Next time though, I just have to ask when ordering. It's an open dining area and got pretty to the point there were no empty tables. However, the tabled turned over pretty quickly allowing for more people to come in, in large groups too. There were two parties over eight people. I don't believe they take reservations but call ahead and ask. I could be wrong. So, this is quite a ways from both home and work for me. Not sure I'd make the trek just to eat here - but meeting a friend and catching up over a tasty hot bowl of Pho - I would any day, every day. BTW, cash and card are accepted. And I'm pretty sure I saw someone use either ApplePay or whatever system Android uses.

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised about this place. I was craving some pho so I decided to check this place out. It's in the "Ge Plaza". [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is okay. There's nothing too fancy about the place but it was a full house when I went.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom is pretty clean and there's an RGB mirror.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have no idea why but there's one. I ordered a Large Combo Pho and 1 egg roll. They do allow you to just order 1 egg roll if you don't want to devour an entry tray. The Pho was actually really good. I did have a first world problem, there's not enough noodle for my meat. Yes, there was more meat than noodles and I like that problem. The only thing I can complain about is the bean sprouts, they didn't give much and it was all small pieces like they were broken. The soup for the pho was top notch. Tried it without adding anything and it tasted better than it smelled. It was flavorful and I don't have to drown it in Hoisin sauce. They also have free dessert which is great! Service is not bad, they actually come and check on you, even though everything is on the table. The parking for this place can get tight, there's not many spots and it can be hard to maneuver in if you have a big car. Overall, 5 out of 5! One of the best tasting pho I've had in a really long time.

What We Ordered: -The Eden Special $22.00 -Thit Nuong Cuon $8.00 This was our second choice; we initially wanted to go to Golden Deli, but it was too crowded on this rainy day. We had planned to go after the lunch rush, around 2 pm, but it seemed everyone else had the same idea. I had actually been recommended Saigon Flavor by a friend, but I mistakenly thought it was Saigon Eden. We were already on our way when I realized the mix-up, so we decided to give it a try anyway. Turns out, Saigon Flavor was closed that day too. The service was excellent from the start. We were greeted immediately, seated, and accommodated when we asked to move to a booth. We were unsure about the Pho options, but the staff provided helpful recommendations. We also asked about the spring rolls and ended up ordering the charbroiled pork ones. The Thit Nuong Cuon was okay, but we felt they were stingy with the rice noodles. The meat portion was good for the price, but the spring rolls were large. We probably wouldn't order this dish again. There were a few mix-ups with our order. They initially tried to give us two bowls of Pho when we only ordered one, and they gave me the wrong Pho, the rib eye instead of the Eden Special. However, the server was very friendly and quickly corrected the mistake. The Eden Special with Ribs is pricey at $22 for a large. The Pho itself wasn't very flavorful, and the biggest issue was the ribs. The meat was tough and difficult to remove from the bone, which made eating it messy. While the food quality is closer to a 3-3.5, the excellent service warrants a 4-star rating. We also appreciated the complimentary dessert they gave us at the end of the meal. Overall, we wouldn't rush to come back, but if we were craving Pho, we wouldn't mind revisiting.

I really miss the pho in the SGV--nothing beats the depth and flavor of their broth. While in Pasadena, I decided to stop by this pho spot. The place was packed on a Wednesday evening, but since I was dining solo, I was quickly seated at a small table. Service was fast, and my large bowl of pho and egg rolls arrived in no time. Parking can be tricky in the area, but I was lucky enough to find street parking close to the restaurant.

It's that time of year again when it's cold out and you need something warm inside your belly. Pho is just what you need, and you best believe you can come here and pho-get that you were hungry at all! Super popular spot off busy Las Tunas in the heart of San Gabriel. Parking is in a very small lot shared with other businesses, so good luck finding a space during prime hours. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is spacious, casual, and family-friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Got seated right away and staff took our orders not a couple of minutes after sitting down. Food took about 5 minutes or so. This is what I call excellent service. Prices are decent. The menu is similar to other pho spots that I've been to, but I'd say the biggest difference is that Saigon Eden's broth is a notch above most all of them. You can tell it's quality stuff that took a while to make. My go-to at a pho spot is usually the beef ball soup. Here, they didn't disappoint at all. Meaty, firm texture, and very tasty. Generous amounts of veggies accompanies each bowl. Also ordered the eggrolls. Big plate good enough for even three. Crispy texture, although a tiny bit chewy. They give you a whole garden full of leafy greens and mint for you to roll up these tasty treats. Their motto is "Come Pho With Us!" I definitely would pho with these guys again!

Great pho place that my family and I have been coming to for years! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good service, clean restaurant, small parking lot in back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the rice plate and it's pretty good but wish there were more vegetables, some of the meat was a little too charbroiled, and the portion size was huge; I recommend sharing this.

The menu looked pretty similar to a lot of other Taiwanese spots I've been to. I ordered the beef noodle soup. The beef was tender, although it was a little on the salty side for me. The bok choy was cooked well and still had a nice texture without being overcooked or soggy. My friend got the honey green tea, popcorn chicken, and tomato beef noodle soup. He thought everything was fine, but nothing really stood out to him. We came on a Friday right before noon, and it started getting pretty busy soon after. I probably wouldn't wait a long time to eat here, especially on a weekend. There are quite a few other places that serve similar dishes and are pretty comparable. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but I'd be open to coming back and trying some of the other things on the menu, especially the xiao long bao or one of the other rice noodle soups.

Cold Noodle with sesame paste ($10.99)-- SOOO GOOD!!! Look I know it doesn't look fancy in any which way... but the taste is 20/10 like it was insane. It wasn't peanut-buttery profile in the way some sesame pastes are and instead was light and nutty and REALLY GARLICKY!! The garlic is really the star of the sauce and makes everything so savory umami. They flavor it up with other sauces too so it's not strictly sesame like the name implies. It's like..some crazy good sauce with sesame in it. AND THE NOODLES!!! The noodles were so tough (??) in a good way!! Like really springy and textured and great vehicle for sauce. No soft mushy anything. Just all firm and strong and great texture. 1 Meat 2 Veggies with Garlic meat, potato and wood ear mushroom ($13.99)-- Sooooo good! Just FYI 1 Meat/2Veggie and 3 Veggies are the same price so doesn't hurt to order a protein (but it does get more expensive as you order more meats). Everything is seasoned really well and there's just so much flavor everywhere. Chongqing Crispy Chicken ($15.99)-- Kind of like a Sichuan style popcorn chicken? But more crispy and smaller pieces! I've ordered this at other places before and I'd say it's on par with all the good places. No complaints, really good!! Was slightly worried since wasn't sure if they were known for it or not... but it came out great and would order it again!! Parking is easy because of the lot. You scan the QR code to order!

What happened? The bowls were like 99% noodles (excluding the soup, per se). And the 1/2 tendon 1/2 beef (beef tendon and beef flank)? It was more like no tendon no beef (no tendon, no meat)! I will not be coming back. Even my husband, who used to constantly crave their food, is angry now. It's good that we're on the same page about never going back--period. On a Saturday evening, my husband and I decided to grab dinner here. Because we parked in the shared parking lot, we entered the restaurant through the back. We were immediately greeted upon entering. After being seated and looking over the menu, we ended up ordering: Fish Tofu Congee, $10.50 prior to tax- This meal truly nourished my soul because I was really sick a few days before and hardly ate anything. The congee was nice and hot and thick, just the way I like it. Portion wise, this is perfect for 2- 3 people to share. But again because I had not eaten much for the last few days, I ended up eating most of it (lol, had not realized how hungry I was until I was eating this). My husband did enjoy this congee too. Beef Stew Noodle Soup, $14.95 prior to tax- My husband ordered this dish and thought the soup was flavorful and the noodles had a nice chew. I also liked this dish and thought it was delicious. My husband finished most of this dish. ------------------------------ (Total= $28.10 after tax, prior to tip) Service was friendly. And because the restaurant is on the small side, it was very easy to get a server's attention if you needed something. Although I did speak mostly Cantonese when I was here (I am actually trying to make myself speak Cantonese more), you can order in English. So you shouldn't have any trouble when you dine here. Overall, coming to The Congee was the right choice for dinner and so glad we did. I do see myself coming back here for another meal in the near future. Please note that there is a unisex restaurant towards the back of the restaurant, right next to the back entrance/ exit. The restroom itself had all the basic essentials (running water, toilet paper, paper towels and soap) but wasn't the cleanest. It was decent at best.

It's simple what they do well here, they make darn good food that tastes like homemade food (healthy and delicious), they price everything on the menu very reasonably (especially in these crazy times), and they treat all their customers like family/neighbors. And we always pair it with veggies (garlic cucumbers or water spinach) and pork dumplings are also amazing. Almost any of their braised meat rice/noodles are just really good (popular ones are braised pork rice or braised chicken leg rice). Interior space is also very roomy and comfortable for big groups or cozy meals Parking is pretty easy since they have a lot in their back entrance and they used to let you park underground as well but the building's new management started closing the gates at 6pm because they're just sad and unfriendly human beings lol but luckily the surrounding area has many places to park.

This restaurant is difficult to get parking because it is located inside a small plaza on the corner of Valley and Garfield. Fortunately, I found a parking space there. The restaurant is not particularly large, But there are many customers dining there. We ordered Garlic Cucumber, Braised Pork Rice, Garlic Water Spinach, Braised Beef Noodles, Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs, Garlic Beef Cubes, and two Thai Milk Teas. I'm able to speak with the owner, who informs me that this restaurant does not use MSG or other ingredients. Everything is fresh and healthy. After tasting the food and the Braised Beef Noodles, I can tell it's really tasty and light, with no harsh components that make you thirsty and want to drink more water. So far, my family and I have really enjoyed the food here. Definitely will return and try other delicious foods next time.

The soup was nice, clean, and light. The veggies were perfect: bright green and a bit crisp, not over done. The wantons and noodles were tasty. The dumplings were very nice. Both had thin wrappers, full of shrimp, and so tasty with the chili sauce. We would definitely return. Next time we will be buying some frozen dumplings and wantons to take home.

They are located next to the Jade Plaza on Garvey Ave in Monterey Park. I parked in the plaza's parking lot, but I'm not 100% sure if they truly are part of the plaza. They may not be. Please read signages. Limited street parking. Upon entry, the lady behind the counter was attending to another customer. When it was my turn, she took my order quickly. She seemed friendly, but not the most smiliest. They are known for their Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup so I got one of them. I saw Preserved Egg with Shredded Pork Congee so I had to get it, too. Lastly, I noticed another customer with an order of Black Sesame Paste... must get an order of that because I love black sesame. I decided to dine-in instead of take-out. This place isn't huge at all. It's a mom and pop whole in the wall very casual establishment with about 4 tables and some chairs. Definitely not a spot for large parties. Now to the food... Shrimp wonton noodles was quite authentic and deliciously good. Broth was light and clean without the msg flavor. Noodles were crisp and had a bouncy texture to it. WOW, wontons were the best! Good amount of quality pork and shrimp filling that was quite flavorfully seasoned. Loved it! Definitely recommend to all wonton egg noodle connoisseurs! Just one itty bitty gripe, portion was small for the price of almost $12. I felt I only got a few good bites from the bowl. I would still get it again though. I'm a sucker for great eats regardless of price LOL. Congee with tasty shredded pork and slightly salted preserved eggs was warm and savory with a soft silky texture and mild comforting flavor. I haven't had such an authentic congee in such a very long time. This is must get every time! It was worth the almost $10. I should have ordered one to-go... for sure next time. For the black sesame paste, this one was a bit of a disappointment. It was cold and not hot. Liquid was very thin. I'm used to thick black sesame. Taste was horrible. It was like eating expired black sesame grains. Did not like it at all. Will not get again. I almost tossed the whole thing away, but ended up adding some pre-packaged flavorful black sesame paste I had at my home pantry to thicken it. Afterwards, it tasted more decent like black sesame should taste. Will I be back? Yes, I'll be back for the wonton noodles and congee plus to try their other authentic Chinese dishes. They sell frozen wontons and dumplings, too. I will have to buy a bag or two of them next time. Thanks Hong Coffee & Bakery!
