All of the food was solid!!! I recommend everything that we ordered. If your spice tolerance is not the best, I want to warn that the Mild Spicy Popcorn Chicken had more of kick than I expected. Also, their iced teas are HUMONGOUS. I'm not exaggerating. The pictures don't do them justice at all. Came with a friend on a Sunday evening and did not realize how popular this place was. Parked in the lot and waited outside about 30-40 minutes in the heat before we were able to get seated. Tight seating on the inside. Decent AC. We ordered the popcorn chicken, shrimp fried rice, and pan-fried pork baos. I hadn't eaten popcorn chicken in a long time so I loved the dish and will be back for it. I did notice that there were quite a few smaller chunks of just flour. Shrimp fried rice is hard to mess up. Was also pretty solid. Pan-fried pork baos are tasty, filled with soup, and actually heated up well the next day in an air fryer too. Cost was reasonable and I enjoyed the food. Will certainly be back.

This place is the same as Mr Dragon Noodle House on Rosemead, just a bit smaller with a smaller parking lot. We came on a Thursday around 7pm and had to wait about 25 minutes to get a table, I was quite surprised! We ordered beef rolls (my favorite), beef noodle soup, xiao long bao (not good, thick skin, skip this), dandan noodles, pan fried dumplings, and some veggies. Food was on par and pretty much identical to Mr Dragon Noodle House. Great if you're in the area.

We ordered the fried squid, pork potstickers, braised beef & tendon noodle soup, braised beef noodle soup, and Dan Dan noodles. The fried squid was crispy, big pieces and not greasy, and we chose the mild spicy level but it was a bit spicy if you couldn't handle spicy at all. The potstickers had a juicy, well-seasoned filling. I recommended dip it on black vinegar. It tasted so good. Beef noodle soups had rich broth with tender beef, and the tendon was cooked perfectly. The Dan Dan noodles had a nice balance of nutty, and spicy flavors. Service was quick and didn't have to wait long for the food to come. Price is not that expensive and portion is decent. Restaurant is small and tables are closed to each other.

I've been coming here since they first opened and it feels wrong that I'm barely writing a review now. I guess many things have changed though, the restaurant definitely got a lot busier than I remember, probably has to due with TikTok influencers blowing up this spot. I'm happy for them. The wait on a weekend evening was around 40 minutes for a table for 2 and we arrived around 6. Food XLB - these weren't anything special, I do like the scallion and ginger flavors in the filling Popcorn Chicken - must get, reminds me of the one I had in Taipei Pan Fried Pork Buns - they do pork buns really well here. Crispy bottom, juicy filling, very delicious Beef & Tendon Noodle Soup - soy based, herb/spice heavy. Noodles Al dente, very good beef noodle Duck Female Ginger Rice Noodle - this one was good when it first arrived at the table, but after 3-4 minutes the noodle just sucked up all the soup and it no longer became enjoyable. Service was typical and very efficient. The location interior is not that big but they definitely made the most use out of the space.

We shared: 1. Beef & Tendon Noodle Soups 2. Beef Rolls 3. Xiao Long Bao 4. Popcorn Chicken Very solid overall. Textbook soup flavor and good noodle chew. I wish the beef was a little fatter but still tender. Popcorn chicken was textbook. Xiaolongbao was good but I wish the broth inside was richer. I was most impressed with the beef rolls. Some of the best I've ever had. No issues with service. Ambience is nothing to talk about but nothing wrong with it.

This spot has been on my radar for a while. I'm disappointed I didn't come sooner. Great service very friendly helped out choose their popular dishes. We didn't have to wait too long for a Friday night. Almost everything we got was really good. I got the beef noodle soup. But I got it with Mala spice. I will probably not get that anymore. I didn't know that mala meant numb. Thanks to another customer that let me know I won't be getting that anymore. That literally numbed my tongue. I felt a little strange didn't know what was going on until I was informed. But the noodles, the beef, the soup everything was really good. Good flavor. We got some dumplings and spicy wontons. They were perfect. Definitely getting this again. The only thing that I was a little disappointed was the Dan Dan Noodles. It had a sauce that I just didn't really feel. I can't wait to come back and eat some more and try something different.

The food here is so good! I love the dumpling selections. The garlic Bok choi is so yummy I love it. I also always get the popcorn chicken. The noodle soups are just ok. The space is small and rather tight but you're not there for vibes you're there to eat. The service is pretty fast and efficient. The people are nice. I wouldn't say friendly, but I wouldn't say rude either, just efficient.

The pork potstickers were good. The skin was excellent, but the filling was only okay. The spicy braised beef noodle soup, we added tendon to it, was delicious as was the dandan noodles. We really like this place, clean, service prompt, even though there's a line they did not push us out. We very much enjoy coming here

Worth the hype! I visited on a Friday around lunchtime and was surprised to see the place was packed. The restaurant shares a parking lot and we got one of the last spots this day. Our food came out quickly after we placed our order. We ordered the medium spice popcorn chicken, spicy pork wontons, devil beef noodle soup (very spicy, beware) and the beef roll. It's hard to pick a favorite, but the beef roll stood out to me the most due to its flaky crust, herbs, and freshness. Overall, everything was cooked well and had wonderful flavor! Our total was $61 which we thought was an excellent deal considering the quality and portion sizes. We ended up taking about half of it home. Will definitely be back!

Pleasantly surprised by this place! I enjoyed eating here. The parking lot is decently big, but they do share with a supermarket and another restaurant. There is a long wait, at least on the weekends during dinner time. My party waited about 30-40 minutes. While you wait, you can mark which dish you want to order, so when you sit down, you submit your order. Beef Noodle Soup 牛肉麵: I love the broth here. I'm pretty particular about the style of this dish, as there are many variations depending on the region. It's super flavorful, and the meat was so tender. My mom took a piece from me, and it fell apart when she picked it up. 小籠包: Delicious and quite big, which was a delight. The filling is primarily meat; it's not 50% veggies, which is fine with me. More a fyi for anyone curious. Dumplings: We also ordered pan-fried beef dumplings. Amazing, and like the 小籠包, primarily beef inside with little veggies. 鹽酥雞:This is my favorite snack, and I was not disappointed. First, the portion size for the price is crazy. It's so worth it. The pieces are big as well. Don't worry, it doesn't have too much breading on it. It's a perfect portion of both meat and crunch. If you're missing Taiwanese food without being heavily influenced by the US, I don't think you'll be disappointed here.

I always love coming here! At peak hours parking is atrocious and since it's a small spot there is usually a line outside. You could order take out by skipping the line and going straight inside. You order through a paper and the server will come and double check that it is everything you ordered. Inside was clean and they have a restroom in the back. I got the popcorn chicken, sesame noodles, and mango tea. Can never go wrong with a popcorn chicken. This was my first time trying their sesame noodles and it was delicious! It was nutty, chewy, and perfectly sauced up. I was even dipping the popcorn chicken in the sauce. The teas always come in HUGE cups. The mango tea is my favorite. I would say their tea is usually on the sweeter side. Safe to say this place never fails me.

considering they use peanuts in some of the dishes you should ask them if they are careful about cross contamination. and bring an epipen

Do you take reservations for large groups?

The restaurant is extremely small and is often times really quick with seating so a large party would probably be split up. I wouldn't recommend a large party to come at eat - to-go is probably best.

    Can you order take away?

Yes you dine in or order take away too

Is this the same restaurant as the one that used to be in rowland heights?

No, but this restaurant has 2 other sister locations, Mr Dragon Noodle House at Diamond Bar and Mr Dragon Noodle House at Rosemead.

not when we went a couple of months ago!

The total bill came to about $90.00. Figuring everything out it is a ok deal. The cost of tea and table setting was over $5.00 per person. It is high, but their dim sums are cheap. $9.99 for the Peking Duck included an at the table craving of the Duck. Not that many places do this. In fact, I know of no other place does this. The Peking Duck is Cantonese style. The difference is in the wrapping. In tradition Beijing Peking Duck the wrapping is a tortilla like thin piece of flour based wrapping. In Cantonese Peking Duck the wrapping is a half size bun folded to place the duck and vegetables and hoisan sauce inside. I had my standard favorite dishes--Salty Fish Chicken Fried Rice, Black Bean Bell Pepper Rice Noodles and Stir Fried Green Beans. My nephew ordered his two favorite dim sum plate, Daikon cakes and Ox Offals. My Third Aunt is ok with anything as long as it is not spicy hot. The foods were cooked to good quality and taste. Very disappointing experience after coming here for years…read more We've been coming here for years, which is why it was especially disappointing to see such a decline in both the food quality and the service. The food simply did not taste the way it has in the past. The quality and flavor were noticeably different, and unfortunately, it wasn't the experience we've come to expect from this restaurant. The service was even more disappointing. My mother-in-law has an accent and asked for a fork approximately four times. One of the servers literally shook her head "no" at her rather than simply helping her or explaining. That was incredibly disrespectful and uncomfortable to witness. There were also several interactions that left us feeling uncomfortable. One server came to our table speaking Spanish and making jokes, which felt inappropriate and made us wonder whether our diverse table was being treated differently. The busser also placed our drinks inside the lazy Susan while refilling our water, even though the drinks had already been used. He then had to reach in and move the glasses around so we could get our own drinks back. It was just another example of how inattentive the service was. The dim sum service was also disappointing. Servers repeatedly came around with the same few options, and we only saw a variety of dumplings/dim sum at the very beginning. When we asked about the flavors on the custard cart, the server would only tell us "mango" and seemed annoyed that we continued asking about the other flavors instead of simply explaining the options. Getting our bill was another ordeal. We asked several times, and when someone finally brought it, we literally had to call after the server and tell him not to leave the room and to please bring us the bill. Then came the most disappointing part. Our bill was around $300, and I left a $15 tip. I have personally worked in food service for many years, so I understand how important tipping is and I don't take it lightly. However, based on the quality of the food and the level of service we received, I felt that $15 was already generous. The waiter actually went to the manager and complained that the tip was too low. When I explained my reasoning, I was told that the tip should have been 18%. I offered to increase it to $20, but I firmly explained that I did not feel the service warranted an 18% tip. A tip is earned through good service; it should not be treated as an automatic entitlement or something a customer is expected to pay regardless of the experience. After being loyal customers for years, this experience was extremely disappointing. Between the decline in food quality, the inattentive and at times disrespectful service, and then being confronted about the amount of our tip, we will unfortunately not be returning. For a nearly $300 meal, we expected significantly better food, hospitality, and professionalism.

Everything, and I mean everything, was so delicious. One of the best dim sum places I've been to. The pricing of the items ranged from $8-$10 per item we ordered which is expensive but as a treat every once in a while and for the amount of time and effort that goes into making dim sum, it was worth it. I've tried making dim sum at home and it is so hard! Pricing breakdown: $8 items: - har gow (4 pcs) - siu mai (4 pcs) - black bean spare rib - pan fried turnip cake - egg custard $9 items: - chicken feet $10 items: - shrimp rice noodle roll I think they no longer have the tripe on their menu anymore bc I couldn't find it on their online ordering. Also their chili oil was priced at $0.98, which was kind of small, I would do without it next time. ---- The parking was really tough, luckily I had another person with me drop me off then I ordered and then we double parked waiting for it to be finished. We did wait about an hour, but honestly I didn't mind at all because it gave us a chance to relax, talk, and catch up as a family. Once we were seated, my parents were immediately impressed with the decor: elegant and cultural without feeling overly modern or cold. And can we talk about the tea kettles? They looked like literal pieces of art being poured at the table. Ordering was super easy with the QR code system, so my husband handled the whole spread: shumai dumplings, chicken feet, sesame balls, and more. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The ENTIRE table agreed on one thing: the chili oil condiment deserves to be sold in bottles to take home. It was that good. Smoky, just the right amount of spicy, and addictive. Now for the real test: my in-laws. They've been to *many* dim sum places and are not easily impressed. They declared this place to have the best chicken feet that they've ever had: meat easily sucked off the bone, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and perfectly seasoned. High praise coming from dim sum veterans. Most importantly, my parents' first dim sum experience couldn't have been better. They loved everything from the ambiance to the food to the overall experience. My husband and I want to come back to explore more of the menu because there's clearly so much more to try

It's alright. They're great in some areas but fall short in others. We tried the pork soup…read moredumplings, pan fried pork buns and beef noodle soup. The good part about the beef noodle soup was the beef chunks weren't too dry nor fatty. The noodles, however, didn't taste like the fresh hand pulled kind you'd find at other restaurants but rather the dried ones you can get at a supermarket (they tasted like the Quon Yick dry noodle). The broth isn't necessarily bland but I think it could have used more flavor. The soup dumplings had a generous filling, but there really weren't much flavors coming from the seasoning. It just tasted like pork and soup. The skin is a bit thicker than what I've seen at other places, but at least they didn't break. I wasn't a fan of the fried buns though. They were fried too crispy to a point that the skin was dry and crunchy and all the fluffiness was lost. Same with the soup dumplings, the filling could have used more flavor. The ones at Kang Kang Food Court would be the clear winner here. For the price, the portions are pretty fair. The menu is very limited, but it's very carb-focused, so it's not a great place if you're looking for alot of protein options. They don't really offer much in the vegetarian department.

This time I was in the area late Monday morning and lucked out with a spot in their parking lot. If you're looking to satisfy a dim sum craving without spending much, this is a great little find. You order at the window, and about three minutes later they hand you a bag of fresh dim sum. Don't expect extras--no sauces, no chopsticks, just your order, a receipt, and a napkin. I scarfed everything down in my car and left a very happy camper. It's a solid option if you're dining on a dime. Grab your food and enjoy it in your car, at a nearby park, or take it home. Everything is ordered by the piece, so it's easy to mix and match. My favorites were the har gow (蝦餃, shrimp dumplings), char siu sou (叉燒酥, barbecue pork puff), and dan tat (蛋撻, egg custard tart). The siu mai (燒賣, pork and shrimp dumplings) and char siu bao (叉燒包, steamed barbecue pork bun) were good, but pretty standard compared to the standouts. Cash only.

Everything is ordered by piece, so you can mix and match exactly what you want by filling out the form. Came by on a Saturday craving a few things and ordered siu mai, har gow, BBQ pork buns, ham sui gok, and sesame balls. Once you place your order, everything comes out pretty fast. Overall the items are decent and definitely hit the craving. The BBQ pork bun was a little dry for me, but I liked the sesame balls and ham sui gok, nice and crispy on the outside with a chewy texture. Solid spot if you're in a rush or just want a quick dim sum fix.
