So bummed I've to update my previous record to one that isn't as great. It's been a few years since I last visited so I was expecting it to be as amazing as it was when I last went but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. It's open daily 10am-9pm Parking is ok since they have a parking structure and street parking Service was ok and could have been better if they were more attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside was pretty small but they offer inside and outside seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Menu had a good variety of dishes and prices were reasonably priced. Got the Special Beef Combo Noodle ($14.50) and it consisted of eye round steak, well done flank, brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef ball. The broth tasted very light and not too greasy or salty so that was enjoyable. The quality of the meat was very dry and wasn't tender so that was very disappointing. The portion of meat and noodles given wasn't plentiful so that was a bummer. The basil, bean sprouts, and lemon were decent and so were the complimentary sauces. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with the pho and even though it was reasonably priced, it didn't seem to be worth the price since the pho tasted very underwhelming.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant is chill and functional![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You are seated by a hostess and allowed to browse menu options. Service was quick and prompt, they brought out drinks and sides quickly. I got the Pho and Ribeye soup which was absolutely delicious. It is a Shabu style pho so they bring the meat not cooked. The meat looked bright red and of high quality. They bring a hot plate filled with broth to heat your meat. It was delicious, the meat was tender and not too chewy. The broth was filling and delicious. I didn't even have to add condiment (chili, soy sauce ETC). Price is definitely reasonable and I would definitely come here again.

Card has a 3.55% transaction fee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decent pho, interior is pretty modern and great spot to catch up with friends over dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beware floors are extremely slippery, they seemed to be covered in some sort of grease.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We visited on a Tuesday night, restaurant was semi full but not too busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Don't expect service unless you flag down a server for something. Pho Dac Biet -broth is solid, no complaints. Loved that flank steak slices came out slightly raw as it should be, this helps it from being overdone. Pho Filet Mignon -beef was quite tender. Nem Nuong Cuon (grilled pork spring roll)- pork was well seasoned and it was juicy. Flavorful yet refreshing. Nha Trang Sauce was good as well.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great food, big portions, affordable prices, spacious with indoor & outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They don't take reservations, we waited 30min Sunday at 12:15p, I recommend going earlier on weekends. We all enjoyed our food: pho filet mignon (comes with a plate of bean sprouts, basil & lime), beef ribs pho (beef ribs come in a separate bowl because they're so big), charbroiled pork with vermicelli (flavorful with generous portions of meat), beef stew (comes with bread to dip instead of rice). In the past I've also ordered the oxtail pho (generous portions of meat that comes in a separate bowl). We enjoyed our drinks: strawberry hibiscus iced tea & iced lemon tea (both sweetened). [[HIGHLIGHT]]I highly recommend this pho place, good quality food & clean space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My go to spot in Alhambra for pho is Pho Saigon Pasteur. They have a clean and healthy tasting broth and there is usually no wait whenever I go. Service is fast and I am in and out within 30 minutes. My go to ordered it the pho dac biet which has an assortment of meats. Pho dac biet has flank, brisket, beef ball, tendon and tripe. The soup is clear and not very oily. It has full of beef flavor and other aromatics. The noodles are cooked perfectly and the meat is tender while the tendon and tripe is soft and crunchy. The bowl is full of flavor that you don't need any hoisin or siracha to add any flavor. The vermicelli with grilled pork sausage and egg roll is my other go to order. The nem nuong is sweet and flavorful. It has a nice char and the meat is flattened. The egg rolls are filled with meat and super crispy. The fish sauce is not too sweet and full of umami flavors. Each noodle dish is about $15 so it is very affordable as it comes in a big bowl. Parking is residential or they have a lot in the back.

I ordered takeout and got the spring rolls, vermicelli bowl with charbroiled chicken and a side of grilled beef rolls. Everything tasted good and portions were generous. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was also very clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Great spot for a quick and satisfying meal.

I was craving pho and it did not disappoint! The pho broth is very clean, balanced, and tasted great. It was served super hot and every meat was cooked perfectly - I did the custom with brisket, tendon, and flank. Meat quality was really good and they don't skimp. Service was quick and efficient and I enjoyed talking to the guys at the register. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We parked on the street and it was very easy. Will definitely be back to fulfill my pho craving!

Heard that they are pretty good so stopped by to try. I was walking around downtown Alhambra so parked a bit far. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They are pretty nice with some outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had lunch during the weekend. They were a bit busy. The pho took longer than expected to come. So I munched on the fresh mung bean and ate a bunch of it even before the pho arrived. They probably were too busy and forgot I ordered the extra onion. I ordered a diet biet pho and they noticed that they forgot the meatball and gave it to me in a separate bowl with soup. The pho was good. I would like additional noodles tho so ordered more on the side. The extra noodles also came with soup. I saw that they would charge extra for getting additional soup. It is a good option around north Alhambra for Pho.

Came here for dinner. We got Pho Dac Biet and the create your own pho option where we chose 3 types of meat. The soup was hot and flavorful. Good portion of pho noodles. The meats were tender, juicy, and fresh. We also ordered the eggrolls which normally only come with 1 leaf of lettuce but we asked for a few more so that we could each wrap our eggrolls. The eggrolls were crispy and the meat filling was good. But only comes with 4 pieces. Iced water tasted great, like good quality filtered water. Great service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Indoor and outdoor seating options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Still has complimentary ground floor parking garage in the back.

Mostly get pho as hangover cure, but heard good things about this place. The broth is close to the ideal and they are generous with the meat/tripe portions. They have a little outdoor area which is nice to people watch as it's the most lively in Alhambra lol. Service is fast as well. A bit annoying that this place is one of those cash-discount restaurants, but I guess some might like having that option. Most importantly they have chili paste and not just Sriracha which is too sweet for me when it comes to pho. Will be back.

UPDATING REVIEW TO GIVE STAFF FLOWERS! Not only is the pho delicious here but the entire staff are so nice and welcoming! The server guys were attentive (even when they forget your drink order lol) and the lady and man who's behind the counter is sweet treating us like old friends. They even gave my kids gummy bears after our meal! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely give them a try if you got kiddos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Currently my favorite pho in LA! Put my name down and waited about 15min to get a table. If willing to sit outside you can get seated immediately. I ordered the pho with beef ribs. They give you three large beef ribs all for about $14. The broth is pure and filled with flavor. Beef ribs were tender and juicy. Got to put sriracha in your broth to add that kick. Nice, clean restaurant with good service. Great pho in Alhambra!

We ordered take out from here. We ordered the special combination beef pho. It came with the typical beef, bean sprouts, basil and lime. The broth was flavorful. They were very busy that day. It took longer than usual to get our food. But the staff were friendly and helpful. The interior is not very big. Seating is limited. There is a small outdoor seating area with five tables. There is parking in the back of the restaurant, which is convenient. My reservation about this restaurant is that they have a health score of "C". I hope they can boost that score up.

Do they show on menu if anything can be served gluten free? I'm celiac and soy sauce is often hard to avoid in marinating meat, etc.

I'm Gluten intolerant and look for Gluten Free options, however, I didn't see anything on the menu that reflected GF unfortunately

Are there vegetarian options on the menu (e.g. vegetable broth, etc.)?

    Do they have outdoor dining?

Yes, they have outdoor seating now.

There's plenty of meat with a variety of beef cuts, some with just the right amount of fat that makes each bite rich and satisfying. The broth is deep, savory, and packed with complex, unfamiliar flavors that signal the real deal. I'd confidently call this Southern California's most authentic pho experience -- on par with what you'd find in the Vietnamese enclaves of Orange County. The fresh veggie plate they serve alongside complements the soup beautifully. Round it out with an iced tea, and you've got a thoroughly satisfying Saturday afternoon meal. They had a Chinese menu and a Vietnamese menu. Honestly, it was a tough choice. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls , and the bun Bo nuong cha gio. The dishes were prepared with quality and patience. Lots of regulars in the restaurant it seemed. On this night , there were short staffed and I had to remind my server about my order a few times. The manager came out to apologize. She was a very good manager and handled things well. She offered me a discount, but I refused. Instead, she gave me a refreshing watermelon drink on the house. I will come back, next time I'm in town.

The meat tasted old, the rice was poorly seasoned, their complimentary soup you get when you first sit tasted like poultry. I know there's chicken feet in there but it didn't taste like 'chicken' it tasted like when you walk in to a poultry soup. It tastes like how the poultry shop smells. If you haven't been to a poultry shop, it tastes like if you're around a lot of live chickens. My brother got the brisket. It was the worst he's ever had too. He said it was chewy and lack flavor. They might be cutting costs because the economy is bad. I notice a large portion of their menu was covered up or dishes crossed out. Even the beverages got cut! You can only get like 3 different beverages which are ovaltine, coffee, and something else. They even cut out lemon ice tea. They're a mom and pop shop and it would be sad if they're out of business because of that reason, but the food was unfortunately not good. Service was really good though, but we were the only ones there majority of the time we were dining. The price for the hainan chicken was about $17, brisket was about the same. I don't remember the exact amount. Just listing that here because Yelp's prices are way off. Could be old pricing from a while ago.
