    Special combination rice
    Eric W.

The pho filet mignon was super tender and flavorful, and the booth has the rich filet mignon favor. The special beef combination pho had a rich, comforting broth with generous portions. We also tried the special combination rice, which was just as satisfying. It was packed with variety. It had shrimps, sausage, chicken, and beef. Good price and good food.

Heard that they are pretty good so stopped by to try. I was walking around downtown Alhambra so parked a bit far. They are pretty nice with some outdoor seating. I had lunch during the weekend. They were a bit busy. The pho took longer than expected to come. So I munched on the fresh mung bean and ate a bunch of it even before the pho arrived. They probably were too busy and forgot I ordered the extra onion. I ordered a diet biet pho and they noticed that they forgot the meatball and gave it to me in a separate bowl with soup. The pho was good. I would like additional noodles tho so ordered more on the side. The extra noodles also came with soup. I saw that they would charge extra for getting additional soup. It is a good option around north Alhambra for Pho.

Mostly get pho as hangover cure, but heard good things about this place. The broth is close to the ideal and they are generous with the meat/tripe portions. They have a little outdoor area which is nice to people watch as it's the most lively in Alhambra lol. Service is fast as well. A bit annoying that this place is one of those cash-discount restaurants, but I guess some might like having that option. Most importantly they have chili paste and not just Sriracha which is too sweet for me when it comes to pho. Will be back.

We ordered take out from here. We ordered the special combination beef pho. It came with the typical beef, bean sprouts, basil and lime. The broth was flavorful. They were very busy that day. It took longer than usual to get our food. But the staff were friendly and helpful. The interior is not very big. Seating is limited. There is a small outdoor seating area with five tables. There is parking in the back of the restaurant, which is convenient. My reservation about this restaurant is that they have a health score of "C". I hope they can boost that score up.

This is one of my favorite pho spots! Food: Whenever I come, I order the pho & ribeye. It comes out "Shabu" style and I love it! It's pretty fun to cook your beef slices on a mini pot. The soup tastes so flavorful afterwards. The broth is hot and delicious. The noodles are cooked perfectly. If I'm not eating pho in Orange County, I am here! Service: Reliable and quick service typically! No complaints here. Parking: There's street parking but there's also a free parking lot in the back of the restaurant. Overall: 5/5; This is a staple for me! I tend to come back here every so often whenever I have a craving for pho. It's not super big or decorated per say, but it gets the job done in providing you with a nicely cooked bowl of pho.

Currently my favorite pho in LA! Put my name down and waited about 15min to get a table. If willing to sit outside you can get seated immediately. I ordered the pho with beef ribs. They give you three large beef ribs all for about $14. The broth is pure and filled with flavor. Beef ribs were tender and juicy. Got to put sriracha in your broth to add that kick. Nice, clean restaurant with good service. Great pho in Alhambra!

Pho Saigon Pasteur in Alhambra is such a gem. The pho broth was deeply flavorful and aromatic with that rich, slow simmered depth you look for in a truly good bowl. The noodles had the perfect texture, the meats were tender, and the fresh herbs brought everything together beautifully. The portions were generous and everything came out hot and quickly. The atmosphere felt casual and authentic, making it the kind of spot you can return to again and again. If you are looking for quality pho in Alhambra, this place absolutely delivers. Will definitely be back.

I liked the decor. Lets start there. I was only able to take one picture of the back but I loved the details of the little plants they had. They look cute cause the walls are wooden. I give the place's decor a 7/10. Now, the SERVICE? I'm sorry but this part has to be improved. You CANNOT run a business with just 2 waiters on a SATURDAY LUNCH RUSH in a restaurant where you have more than 12 tables and 8 different parties waiting outside. U cant. Something is going to fail, if it hasnt already. We waited 35 minutes for a table, which, I was expecting, bit after we were seated, we waited another 25 minutes to even get our orders taken. On this part I give them 2/10. The food was good. I have to admit that what we ordered was pretty good (some noodles and a beef pho). But I also ordeed a pho to go, and instead of separating the RAW MEAT into a smaller container, they just DUMPED the RAW MEAT into the noodles, which obviously got coated with blood and when I opened the container almost threw up. Im not being dramatic. It looked HORRIBLE and so disgusting I had to toss this. I wasted $18+ on a soup I didnt even try. That specific part, I wont even rate it was that bad, but the food we consumed at the restaurant was 8/10. Ohhh and before I forget, we spent 20 minutes WAITING just to get a check and another 15 to pay. Needless to say, until you guys resolve these issues, I dont think I could come back, even if I really liked the hotpot I ordered.

Great tasting Viet food at reasonable prices in a casual setting! Each dish is around $14-$18, with generous portions that are enough to make you full. My friend and I got the beef rib pho and the beef combination pho with a side of beef ribs. We wanted the oxtail but they were still cooking it when we went. Beef rib pho had a rich savory soup that was surprisingly not cloudy or oily. They gave us whole bone-in beef ribs which were delicious with a little bit of hoisin on it. We got seated pretty quickly, but it was still very busy on a Saturday afternoon. Had a great experience eating here and would definitely come again if I'm craving pho! Some suggestions I have for the restaurant is to increase wait staff (I had to grab my own to-go containers and check out by walking to the counter), improve cleanliness (a few flies flying around), and let the beef ribs tenderize a bit more.

Great spot for authentic Vietnamese food! The Special Pho broth is deep and rich, and the bowl is full of many different toppings. The Chả Giò are some of the best meaty filling. I also loved the sauce that comes with the Bò Né for dipping my bread, though I wish there was a little more beef in the dish. Staffs are so nice, pay at the counter when you finish your meal. The store is good Pho smell when you step in. Highly recommend!

    Pho oxtail
    Jill L.

I ordered the oxtail pho and it was delicious. Great flavor, portions and price! $15.50 for most of the pho options. Tried the bone marrow oil and it was a great addition too. The egg rolls were meh though. They were small and tasted like they were frozen. And they didn't come with any sides like lettuce, cilantro, herbs, carrots etc.

    Vermicelli with grilled pork

Decided to check out another Vietnamese restaurant in the area, and there are quite a few so the competition is tough. So I would have to say the main selling point of this place is interior. It's very nice and modern and has a very nice wood home feel. It used to be a coffee shop here so it just has the same coffee shop vibe. The food here is pretty disappointing. They do have this interesting item that I saw people have which is like a hot pot kind of thing with a live fire. I ordered a vermicelli with grilled pork and for the price, the portion is way too small. After eating it, I was still hungry and I could probably eat two. The grilled pork was way too sweet. It was like sweeter than some candy. I didn't like it at all. For the price they charge, most places would give you like 3 items like 2 egg roll, shrimp paste, and grilled pork but here it's just two items and the egg roll is just one. My co-worker ordered a pho and for the price, it's considered like a large pho for most places but the size is really really small. The bowl is really tall but narrow so there really isn't much food in it. Parking for this place isn't too bad because there is a parking structure attached. There is a weird rule of head in only parking though, but I don't know how hard it's enforced. Overall, food portion is too small and the meat is too sweet. Price is too high for what it is. They also charge a fee for using a credit card regardless of how much you spend. It's not waived. The only thing that this place has going for it is just the interior design.

    Jason P.

The number 1, 1 one on the menu but also in my heart... this yummy broth is tasty, super tender meat. The place is a machine with orders flying out of the kitchen every few minutes. This no frills delicious eatery provides your Pho, hot just like home... well if I lived in Vietnam :)

Do they show on menu if anything can be served gluten free? I'm celiac and soy sauce is often hard to avoid in marinating meat, etc.

I'm Gluten intolerant and look for Gluten Free options, however, I didn't see anything on the menu that reflected GF unfortunately

Are there vegetarian options on the menu (e.g. vegetable broth, etc.)?

    Do they have outdoor dining?

Yes, they have outdoor seating now.
