Went to the original location of the Thai House and everything was delish as expected. Got my friend hooked on their spicy spaghetti lol. I was telling her it was one of those items where you keep taking a bite even when you're full cuz it's so good lol. Duck curry was excellent too and we really enjoyed the broccoli with roast pork. So crispy. I'm impressed that they are always generous with their protein portions on the Thai beef salad and soup. They expanded next door and it's a lovely space for a private party. Great lunch specials and generous portions. Service was excellent and their Thai iced tea the best!

I can't say enough good things about this place. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and I promise you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for good vibes and delicious food, this is the spot.

Wow the food here was soooo good! Me and my family loved it here! Service was fast and friendly and there is always people dining in here (which is a good indicator that this is a good place to eat!) The star of the show was the Crispy pork and Chinese broccoli! The servings here are so hearty! We were able to take the rest home and pack 2 lunches with our leftovers. Will definitely return. 5/5.

We've been coming to Thai House for years and have never had a complaint. Today though, I have to make a comment. I ordered the chicken satay skewers which were posted at $6.95 on the Yelp menu. I was charged $14.95 for 5 little skewers!! We'll still be customers there but never ordering this dish again! Very disappointed.

The check comes on a pretty tray.

Five star shoutout for our server, Cartoon. That's her nickname, and I hope you are lucky enough to be seated at her tables. Or ask to sit her tables. I noticed she kept a eye on us throughout the 3 hours we were there celebrating a birthday. She was friendly, very helpful especially when we told her the birthday gurl had never eaten Thai food before. She made the afternoon very special for my friends. And you can see how genuinely delighted she was to lead the bday song. Food as always, great. 5/5 for the orange chicken, the coconut milk soup ( forgot the name) ...the pad Thai noodles....all delicious. P.s. I usually order the chicken curry in coconut milk. But I read in Monterey Park Life many people gave an orange chicken shoutout to Thai House. All those people were right!

Been coming here for a while and it has always been a great place. Customer service is good and food is also good. Dining in is great but can get pretty full. I recommend their Beef Pad See Ew for sure, it is well made with great flavor and good portion of meat. The chicken Satay is very good and the peanut sauce is always on point. Their Fried Rice is okay, not really a big fan on how they make it here, it's a bit orange and has a different type of flavor than what I am normally use to. Hardly had any shrimp. Had their Tom Kha Kai which was really good, lots of flavor. Called in for a pickup order and can tell you the portions were pretty good but if you dine in, you will get bigger portions.

Haven't been here for a while. Stopped by for a late dinner. Noticed they updated their menu prices, especially the lunch special ($17.95 now). Ordered the orange chicken with tom yum soup. They were out of the pad see ew noodles so couldn't order that, which was a bummer cuz we were craving that dish. Service and food were alright. It's still a good Thai food spot in SGV area.

If you're on a time crunch and need something quick but tasty, this is the spot. Solid lunch spot, I've only really dinned in during peak lunch rushes and service is always fast. Services are attentive and check up on your table often. Cashew Nut (with chicken)- tons of flavor, chicken came out juicy and tender. You can really taste the smokey aroma of the wok heat. Cashews had a good crunch and weren't soggy one bit. Thai Basil -so glad they serve this dish, doesn't seem like many Thai restaurants offer this. Pairs well with white rice! Pad Thai - who doesn't love? Theirs have just the right amount of sauce coating the noodles. Not too wet but not dry. Pad See Ew - another classic, also not too wet but not dry one bit. Not too sweet either. Red Curry (with chicken)- Just the right amount of kick for those who can't handle spice. Chicken wasn't as tender as we preferred. Pineapple Fried Rice -I thought raisins in the dish was a bit odd but after trying it everything ties together. Loved the cashews, added just the perfect amount of texture.

Probably my favorite Thai spot in the LA area. Everything on the menu tastes good and their Thai tea is solid too. Waiters are super quick even when the place is packed. Portions are generous, and the spicy plates actually pack some heat. I would say this place is pretty casual and if you're looking for Thai, this is the spot.

Flavor-packed favorites -- Thai House never misses! Thai House has become my go-to neighborhood spot for Thai food, and for good reason. It's close to home, which is a big plus, but what keeps me coming back is the consistently excellent food. Whether I'm dining in or getting takeout, the flavor, quality, and presentation are always on point. So far, I've made my way through a handful of dishes, and honestly -- they nail it every time: * Pad Kee Mao - Bold, spicy, and full of wok-fired goodness. The noodles have that perfect chewy texture, and the basil and chili give it a beautiful kick. * Kai Kua Noodle - A bit of a hidden gem on the menu. It's smoky, garlicky, and ultra-comforting -- almost like a Thai version of chow fun, but better. * Pad Thai - Classic and well-balanced. Not too sweet, not too sour -- just right. The peanuts and lime add the perfect crunch and zing. * Thai House Fried Rice - Simple, fragrant, and incredibly satisfying. The kind of dish you order thinking you'll save some for later... and then end up finishing anyway. * Thai Boat Noodle - Deep, rich broth with layers of flavor. It's savory, slightly spicy, and the kind of comfort food that feels like a hug in a bowl. * Spicy Chicken Wings - Crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. They bring the heat without being overpowering, and they're downright addictive. Thai House is a reliable gem with generous portions, fast service, and bold flavors in every bite. If you're in the area (or even if you're not), it's absolutely worth the trip!

Food is good but they charge you $1 if you ask for an extra sweet and sour sauce for an ounce. That's a turn-off.

I moved to the SGV a little over a year ago and I have been sorely disappointed by offerings this nook of LA county has to offer *ahem banana bay*. I found myself driving to the SFV or Thai Town whenever I was too lazy to cook Thai food on my own. I decided to take a gamble with this restaurant and I am so very glad that I did. It's so good and authentic that I have come out of yelp retirement (Yelp Elite 2016-2020) to leave this review. I ordered four things as take out: Issan Sausage, Pad Kra Pow Minced Chicken, Spicy Fried Crispy Cat Fish, and Drunken Noodles. I was told that they were out of the Kra Pow Century Egg and stewed pork leg over rice. Hopefully, I'll get to try it next time! Issan Sausage: Good portions. Flavor is very good, a little sour, a little salty, and a hint of sweetness. I think the flavors could be a bit more bold with the sour but overall the flavors profile is as it should be. Frying it also added a nice crispiness to it. Spicy Fried crispy Catfish: Flavors were really good. Sweet foods is typically not usually in my flavor profile, but this is one of the few sweet entrees I actually like. Catfish can be a bit more fried but that is moreso a preference on my part. Drunken Noodle Beef: Good char on the noodles. Flavor was really good as well. Not that much beef but the star of the show are the noodles. I was a tad confused on the egg in my drunken noodle but to each their own. I would probably order it without the egg next time because it does change the texture a bit. Pad Kra Pow Minced Chicken: Now here's where it gets interesting! Tantawan actually uses holy basil (Kra Pow). It's harder to find but it has a very distinct flavor that Thai-American cuisine has for the most part substituted due to scarcity with Thai Basil (Horapha). I don't think you can get more authentic than actually using the right herb. Funnily enough, I think it can throw off people that have never had authentic Kra Pow as my partner said it tasted herbally. Thai food can be very hit and miss even among the Thai community as we all have different preferences when it comes to the holy trinity of sweet, salty, and sour. I am personally on the spectrum of sweet should be hinted at and never the forward flavor. Tantawan with the dishes I ordered definitely held to my flavor profile. Very well cooked and good flavor profile. I didn't have to add any seasoning as everything was cooked just right. I called my take out in and they said it would be ready in 20 and it was when I arrived. Even as the food sat in my passenger seat as I drove home I could tell from the smell emanating from the take-out bag that the food was going to be good. Quick and courteous service!

We joined their waitlist on their tablet near their counter and we were seated within 5 minutes. Just like the other location in Rowland Heights, it's very busy on a Friday night! The restaurant overall is very clean except near the entrance due to high foot traffic. It's decorated with Chinese lanterns, cherry blossom, and bamboo trees placed in the middle of the restaurant. It almost felt like I was dining at a high end restaurant. It's significantly smaller than the other location, but the high ceilings give it a spacious atmosphere. There are plenty tables and booths. Be aware the booths do move easily when you get out of your seat. We were sat in the booth closest to their entrance which I didn't mind at first, but after a while the high foot traffic was distracting (maybe they could place a divider between the waiting area and the booth). Onto the food, pricing, and service: portion is generous and they are more affordable than the Rowland Height's location. I ordered the Bbq Chicken Fried Rice. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. It was easy to take off the bone. The fried rice was light, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I couldn't finish my plate (even though I wanted to) so I boxed the rest to take home. My husband got the Continental Fried Rice. A dish Banana Bay is well-known for. The chicken skin was crispy, the fried egg was yolky in the center, the sausages were soft, and the fried rice was consistent with my plate's. Service was great and the staff was attentive even during their peak hours. I gained a sense of relief when more than one waitress checked in on us periodically. Overall, my husband and I had a great first impression. We're already talking about coming back in the near future. If you're looking for a Thai spot where you can order a plateful of food at an affordable price, this one is it!

I can't not complain about the food, the food is amazing and cooked perfect. The one huge thing…read morethat made this whole experience extremely horrible and unforgettable was the service, or lack of service for better explanation. And I have strongly feeling, we were discriminated because we were not of Asian ethnicity and because we were Latino. When we sat down it took them about 20 minutes to receive the menus, and another 20 to get water while at the same time every other table was being tended to multiple times. When I would raise my hand for service the "employees" who worked there would just look at me with my raised hand and continue to ignore me. When we ordered our food after almost 30 minutes of just sitting there, this Asian woman who refused to give me her name , came to our table and just took the chili sauce tray from our table and said "I'm going to use this for the other table since you guys don't have food, and I'll bring you one later." I said that was fine since we were still waiting on our food. 20 minutes later passed, and our food comes out. I asked the nice Asian gentleman who brought our food if I can get forks and spoons, since he didn't bring any to us. And he completely ignored me and walked away. So we had to sit there with our food with no utensils and no chili tray. I tried to get the attention of the Asian woman who took our chili tray so we can get one since our food arrived and the same Asian women server completely ignored me the whole time and only attended to her side of the restaurant. I don't understand the whole lack of customer service to people who clearly are not Asian, the ambiance felt off and you could totally feel the discrimination and different kind of treatment received. So after 10 minutes of just waiting for our utensils or for someone to come approach me after I've been flagging them down with my hands, I had to get up and go to the front desk and asked if someone could help us cause everyone is ignoring us. When I said that to the young lady at the front desk, she had someone come out immediately to finally give us utensils and our chili that was removed from our table. Not even 10 minutes after we started eating. A different asian woman waiter, who was not our waiter from earlier approached us and asked us "if you guys need to order more food do it it now cause we are about to close and needs to be ordered to go." I find it ironic that she only came to us to let us know that they were closing soon, but the other patrons who obviously were of Asian orientation were left alone. They brought us our check while we were still eating. It was obvious that they were rushing us out after the dreadful, abysmal, subpar service we received. Never have I been treated differently from the rest of the patrons in a restaurant, and I find it sad because I've been going to Banana Bay in Rowland Heights since 2010 and have NEVER received this kind of service. This will be my last time I support this restaurant and anyone who is Latino or any other different race for that matter, be warned.
