We ordered my sister in laws favs from the regular menu, but they have a nice good deal lunch menu too... We ordered: *Thai iced coffee 4/5 (too much ice, but nice strong coffee flavor). Condensed milk separation so stir it or blow gentle bubbles thru the straw to mix... *Drunken noodles, great flavor great inviting smell but the portion was good for two, harder to share for three/four. Probably bec it's served on a plate not a platter. 5/5 for flavor. *Loved the chili basil eggplant with deep fried tofu, nice flavor, could really taste the Thai basil, the fried tofu was kinda dry so slightly overcooked. 4/5 for yumminess. I was so happy that they could prepare the sea treasure soup not spicy. The soup came with small crab halves, shrimp, fish, squid, and mussels. The ginger, onion, basil, and lemongrass make the soup sour but healthy and refreshing. read more

I got the red curry with chicken lunch special. The red curry wasn't super spicy and it was pretty good. It comes with salad and rice. It's definitely enough food, but you can upgrade to a special for $5 that comes with an appetizer and drink. Overall, I think it's pretty good value. read more

I went to Modern Thai hungry .. I ordered a $20 + tip yellow chicken curry. A lot of potatoes and carrots but very little chicken. I think they shred it to make it look more but it's still very little. If you know what the most expensive part of the meal it's the protein. Hmmm. The restaurant is spacious snd at 11:30 AM the lunch crowd was just drifting in. They have nice comfy booths. The menu has all the Thai food favorite and a few Chinese dishes like Orange chicken for the non- adventurous. Ordered from a la carte menu, spring rolls, Thai fried rice, Panang with pork and combination string bean stirfry. With the exception of the spring rolls (filling was mushier than I would like but still ate 2) the food was excellent. Service was quickly and the staff were attentive. I come here to dine in as often as I can when I'm in this area. The first time I dined here was over 9 years ago when the1st and 2nd Thai previous owners were owners. One of my absolute favorite go-to Thai takeout spots. I ordered the tom kha soup with shrimp, which was creamy, tangy, and packed with flavor. For New Year's Day dinner we opted for Thai food and went to this awesome little restaurant. It's a a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. We waited a few minutes and were seated. We had my grandson with us that's only 1 yrs old and they were so accommodating and even brought us a baby plate and spoon. We ordered Tom Ka Soup, rice , some steamed veggies and also ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai. Everything was so good and even though it was a little busier than normal, we got great service.
