The owner is chill and totally chats and laughs for a new York minute.

I know it's not the most beautiful upkept restaurant bit it's certainly a great ma and pop place. The food is made fresh on thee spot, all there dishes are great and not heavy, because i get an upset stomach when i eat at fast food restaurants, who still does that anyway. the kun pow here is my favorite. The owner will come and chill and have a conversation while our food is being prepared. Please come by and support these good ol folks. They deserve it This is still a good chineese restaurant.

I have been looking for a good Chinese food restaurant and I FOUND IT Food was FABULOUS I had the shrimp fried rice, black chicken bean sauce, shrimp in oyster sauce, and noodles. Perfection!! Service: it's a family style restaurant so it's small but owner was really nice and attentive. Go try this place!

Everything was good! Me and my family always order from here, customer service is great now!

My absolute favorite other than my Mom's wonton soup.

A small, hidden, modest gem, that deserves much attention! I have been ordering take out from this restaurant for the past couple of months and I have yet to be disappointed. Made to order. Fresh, well prepared Chinese food. From the wor wonton soup, to the fried rice, to the cream cheese wontons...everything has been so delicious and hit the spot on the dot! Service has always been friendly and efficient. Price point and portion sizes are perfect for a very hungry one or for two to happily share.

Its kinda hidden in the plaza towards the back.

Its bomb here. And not expensive. Its always fast and affordable. Id recommend the beef chop suey. And house special fried rice.

We ordered the popcorn chicken, shrimp fried rice, and pan-fried pork baos. I hadn't eaten popcorn chicken in a long time so I loved the dish and will be back for it. I did notice that there were quite a few smaller chunks of just flour. Shrimp fried rice is hard to mess up. Was also pretty solid. Pan-fried pork baos are tasty, filled with soup, and actually heated up well the next day in an air fryer too. Cost was reasonable and I enjoyed the food. Will certainly be back.

The fried squid was crispy, big pieces and not greasy, and we chose the mild spicy level but it was a bit spicy if you couldn't handle spicy at all. The potstickers had a juicy, well-seasoned filling. I recommended dip it on black vinegar. It tasted so good. Beef noodle soups had rich broth with tender beef, and the tendon was cooked perfectly. The Dan Dan noodles had a nice balance of nutty, and spicy flavors. Service was quick and didn't have to wait long for the food to come. Price is not that expensive and portion is decent. Restaurant is small and tables are closed to each other.

Mama Lu's is known for their dumplings but they also serve Chinese dishes such as beef chow fun, roasted duck, fried fish fillet, and more. The fried fish was very good, crunchy a little bland but the seasons on the side worked out. The beef noodle is just classic, I feel like I eat this all the time at Chinese restaurants. The service was good, My grandma's friend apparently scoped out the place before hand and put her card down for the table. Sneaky sneaky, she put down one of the trickiest plays. The place has a very high ceiling, Spacious doesn't seem like it had a lot of tables, but it wasn't packed.

It's pretty good here and they have complimentary refills! They're known for their rice noodle rolls here and you can order them, along with their small dim sum menu, all day long. The wonton noodles here were just $13.98! They come with 5 large wontons and vegetables over wonton noodles. I always recommend adding chili oil. The steamed spareribs on steamed rice have some bones, just like the ones you find at dim sum. But there's a lot of meat in the steamed rice bowl for a single person. Interior is hardly decorated but has statement black and red tables and chairs haha. No one was dining in, but it seemed like Steam Fresh was popular for takeout. For us, a black sesame roll (could be a snack or dessert), four orders of steamed pork siu mai, two orders of juicy pork dumplings (soup dumplings), and a beef chow fun with soy sauce dish totaled to a little over $55. Everything came out piping hot and packaged well for takeout. We only waited about 15min, which was not bad at all. We really liked the siu mai and chow fun. Both were savory and addicting. Siu mai were especially juicy and meaty; they definitely satisfied our dim sum cravings. Soup dumplings were ok - I found the wrapper to be doughy and the filling kinda plain. The black sesame roll had an interesting rolled look and a sticky, chewy, jelly-like texture. It tasted like lightly sweetened black sesame paste mixed into what seemed like a combination of mochi and agar. The small parking lot in the back is free. We got lucky finding a spot in the late morning, but when we were ready to back out after getting our food, cars were either circling the lot or waiting for someone to leave.

It is delicate and crumbly and worth every cent. It reminded me of this Korean bakery bun, which I now realize is a shy parody of this bun. The curry also made me think of Korean curry. As soon as we received the text saying our table was ready, we immediately headed back. It took us less than two minutes to return and within the five minute grace period that was stated in the text. When we arrived, the first staff member said they would check on our table. While they were looking, a second staff member asked for the queue number and then claimed we were "late" and had already given our table away which was A LIE. We were still within the five minute window from when we received the text. It's completely UNACCEPTABLE to give away a reserved table before the five minute grace period. If your text says guests have five minutes, then honor it. Don't make up your own rules and seat another party early, then expect the original guests to start over by putting their name back on the waitlist. That's not only disorganized. It's disrespectful to those who followed the text instructions. What made the experience even WORSE was the lack of accountability. Instead of trying to resolve the mistake, the first and second staff member ignored us after telling us to join the waitlist again, seemingly hoping we would just accept it or leave. At this point my party was waiting for about close to 10 minutes and the two staff members we spoke to would look and not approach us. A third staff member stepped in AFTER we approached the cashier. They acknowledged the situation, and found a way to seat us by adding an extra chair to our booth. Staff number three was the only person who actually made an effort to fix the restaurant's mistake. Your waitlist system is meaningless if your staff refuse to follow it. Either honor the five minute grace period or stop advertising it. We shouldn't have to put our name in the system again because your staff decided to seat another party before the five minute grace period. This could've been avoided and REFLECTS POORLY on your service and staff training.
