Beef Kebob Plate - Filet Mignon ($19.99) - Above View
Ian A.

I had a lovely experience at Wahib's Mediterranean Express (San Gabriel). I ordered the Beef Kebab Plate ($19.99 - Filet Mignon at Medium Rare). It's juicy & plump steak, fresh rice, salad, pita bread, and clean hummus. WOW! It's cooked perfectly. JUICY!! I arrived at Wahib's Mediterranean Express (San Gabriel) around 6:32PM. Parking is very easy. If there's no carnival or special events, there's a huge available lot. However, there's also plentiful, free street parking. I quickly found a spot. Customers order at the counter. Staff (receipt says Melly) is welcoming, professional, and hardworking. When finished, customers receive an electronic pager that buzzes/beeps when the meal is ready. My meal was ready around eight minutes. Amazing time!! As mentioned, I ordered the Beef Kebab Plate ($19.99 - Filet Mignon at Medium Rare). It's perhaps one of the BEST versions of this meal that I've ever tasted. The filet mignon steak is thick, plump, and juicy. There's a clean, fresh meat flavor that I typically only associate with upscale steak restaurants. I'm AMAZED! Next, the rice is warm and fresh, and the hummus is clean and satisfying. I happily feasted. I left full with a smile. Regarding ambiance, Wahib's Mediterranean Express (San Gabriel) is a food stall inside the popular Blossom Market Hall. The location is fairly clean, and there's many available tables inside. I enjoyed the vibrant artwork on this food hall's ceiling. All in all, ambiance is fairly minimal. Overall, I found unexpected joy at Wahib's Mediterranean Express (San Gabriel). There's integrity in its ingredients, and the food tasted delightful. If searching for a steak kebab plate, this is a very easy recommendation. 4.9 out of 5. GO!!

I was reading an article about Blossom Market Hall (BMH) located at San Gabriel Mission District to find out what's good to eat at this food hall. Wahib's Mediterranean Grill came up as a must try. Well, I was on it! It's one of the 13 vendors on the first floor at BMH. They are known for their authentic Lebanese-Mediterranean kebob plates (beef, chicken, kefta, lule), other plates (falafel, gyro, salmon, vegan), wraps, soup & salads, fries, and various appetizers. Desserts and drinks are available, too. My eldest daughter and I had already eaten, but we wanted to support this vendor during our first visit. Gentleman behind the register was nice and friendly. Lady who bagged my order was okay... not too smiley though. I got their Chipotle Fries as it was recommended in the article. Pricing wasn't too bad for the amount of fries given. It took them about 10 minutes to complete my to-go order. Lots of fries which was great. However, I didn't know the fries were going to be smothered with sauce on top. Otherwise, I would have asked for the sauce to be on the side. Anyway, fries with chipotle sauce was very tasty. There is a spicy kick to it, but manageable. I would order it again, but with sauce on the side. Free parking behind the food hall. Stool and table/chair seating are available inside with limited outside patio seating. Restrooms are near the front entrance. Wifi is available. We would love to return to Wahib's to try their main plates and appetizers next time. We'll be coming hungry for sure.

Wahib Mediterranean Grill is a must try Mediterranean food at Blossom Market Hall. It is located at the very left corner inside the hall. The menu includes; chicken kebob plates, salmon plates, Gyro, beef Kebob, kefta kebob, falafel, lule, wraps, salads, fries, hummus, stuffed grape leaves to mention a few. In addition to desserts and drinks. I ordered kefta kebob and chicken kebob combo plate for one. It came with salad, rice, grilled zucchini, hummus and pita bread. The plate had generous portions. The beef and chicken kebob were very very juicy and flavorful. Their hummus was rich and creamy. Everything was fantastic. Shoutout to Bashar! He was a very nice gentleman and friendly too. He told me that they opened three years ago. The staff were very nice. The service was fast. I will be back soon to try more of their delicious menu.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had with your business today. I understand that the restaurant was closed yesterday; however, I specifically placed my order yesterday for pickup today at 11:30 AM during my lunch break. I intentionally ordered ahead of time because I knew I would be overwhelmed with patients and workload today and would not have time to place an order during the day. I received an order confirmation, my payment was processed, and the money was taken from my account. When I called to ask about my order, the employee I spoke with informed me that there were no orders for today and told me I needed to contact Uber Eats or DoorDash for a refund -- despite the fact that I did not place my order through either service. I ordered directly through your website. What made the situation even more upsetting was the way I was spoken to over the phone. The employee repeatedly raised his voice and said, "I DON'T HAVE ANY ORDER FOR TODAY. NO, NO, NO, NOTHING UNDER YOUR NAME." I was simply trying to understand what happened to an order I had already paid for. As a customer, I found this interaction very unprofessional and disrespectful. It is frustrating that I wasted both my time and money over something that was not my mistake. It is unfortunate because I was genuinely looking forward to trying your restaurant, but this experience has left a very negative impression. To top it off, I have proof of the order confirmation, order number, text saying it was ready for pick up, and the bank transaction that took my money. I guess they really needed the $20. Smh

The chicken kabob skewer by itself ($11) which comes with a pita bread and garlic butter. Omg that skewer was so flavorful and juicy. They cook it to order. DELICIOUS

Absolutely delicious!!!! I'm quite picky with my hummus but the hummus here is EXCELLENT. The rice is so flavorful and we can't forget the garlic sauce on the side! Excellent Mediterranean food and I'm looking forward to coming here again. The employee who took my order even brought my order to me and asked me how everything tasted when I went to ask for a bag after. So kind!

The plate very good the meat very tender and juicy . Today the food came out kinda slow but they got very busy

My first time here ordering for lunch and it did take a little bit for the food to buzz ready but I realized it's bc it was all freshly made to order! As this is low key casual setting, you order at the counter and you sit anywhere inside Blossom Market Hall or outside and bus your own trays. The FOOD was delicious! I ordered the COMBO FOR 2 with rice, salad, pita, hummus- it was definitely more than enough food for 2 :) - The CHICKEN was surprisingly NOT dry and over grilled bc it was actually very tender and juicy. - The BEEF was great too and the slices were nicely sliced for easy consumption. I'll definitely be coming back again for more COMBOS FOR 2 if I'm really hungry!

This is inside the Blossom Market Hall. Decided to try this out since I like mediterranean cuisine. I had the Beef Kebab Plate which is filet mignon (preferred it medium well) with rice pilaf, salad, tomato, thin onion slices, a big green Cuban pepper (I think), pita bread and hummus. The meat was juicy and flavorful. I ate all the veggies except for the pepper and onions. The pita bread was ok. I had ordred a grape flavored sparkling water for my drink. Customer service was okay. The staff did not look that happy. Maybe they were tired or something. But not a big deal. Overall, the food was good.

Chicken Kebob

This is my usual go to Mediterranean spot but decided to try "Pops" in Alhambra. Ordered a chicken kabob plate at 6:20pm and waited until 7:30 to see why my order was taking so long and they said it was about to be prepared. No we're sorry, nothing. I canceled the order and just got Wahibs. It was great! They had it cooked and delivered within 25 minutes.

Great Mediterranean food! Food: The food here is really good and my go to spot in all of the food hall. I always get the Chicken Kabob plate. It's flavorful and more than filling, comes with everything you would want in a Kabob plate. It is a bit pricey but worth it. Service: It's very simple and straight forward. Order your food, they give you a buzzer device, device will buzz when your order is ready for pick up. Ambiance: It's very nice and clean in the food hall. Plenty of tables inside and outside to sit at. There's a water station with cups if you just want free water with your meal. Overall, I like coming here because the food is always fresh and tastes great. Doesn't feel heavy or make me sleepy. I would recommend checking this spot out if you're at the food hall.

Wahib's! Where have you been all my life? Sure, I was a little skeptical as I am with all establishments with high reviews. Also, I really haven't found delicious food in food halls. The food is typically average and I usually go for the desserts. That being said, this establishment is inside the Blossom Market. Yes, a food hall... As I was craving Mediterranean food, I decided to give this place a go. After all, it had the highest rating for Mediterranean in the area. After walking around, I found this establishment in a corner. There was a nice gentlemen at the front who was kind enough to answer my questions and help me take my order. When I received my order, the food smelled and looked delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself indulging in the food. The chicken was juicy and the beef was tender. They both had great flavor and I thoroughly enjoyed my food. I would definitely recommend Wahib's. They have excellent food and service!

Located in the Blossom food court by the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse. We came when the Lunar New Year festival was going on so parking was really challenging. Can't speak to what a normal weekend would be like. It was super crowded inside with all the tables occupied. We were lucky to get one right away. I tried the Combo for Two ($26.99) which comes with chicken and beef skewers, rice, salad, pita bread, and bell peppers. It's a decent portion for two people. They could've given more of the protein though. Taste-wise, the meat was seasoned well and not overcooked. And dipped with the tzatiki sauce, it was even better. The pita bread (3 pieces) was really good with the hummus. The salad was too sour for our taste. Overall, very filling for two people with leftovers. My friend got the gyro wrap ($13.99) which was better. The beef was a different cut of the cow and very tender. We also got the garlic fries ($6.99) and they were really great too.

It's thicker than your typical wrap, warm and pillowy with a flavor that stands on its own. You could honestly enjoy it plain, but dipping it into their hummus takes it to another level. The hummus is smooth, well-seasoned, and layered with flavor without being overwhelming. The salad brings the perfect contrast--fresh, crunchy, and bright without being overly tangy. It balances out the richer dishes beautifully. The rice deserves its own shoutout too: fluffy, fragrant, and generously garlicky in the best way possible. Every bite is packed with flavor. As for the proteins, the filet mignon is unbelievably tender--truly buttery soft and seasoned just right. The beef lule is just as impressive: juicy, savory, and cooked perfectly. You can tell care goes into every component on the plate. From top to bottom, everything tastes fresh, intentional, and satisfying. Don't let the humble exterior fool you--this place is easily five stars and absolutely worth coming back for.

The beef was seasoned perfectly, complete with fresh pita and a delicious garlic spread. The baklava, unfortunately, wasn't the flaky goodness I'd hoped for. I had a number of questions concerning their menu and the gentleman at the register was very helpful in giving me suggestions of different dishes I might enjoy. I ordered a number of items so that I could get an understanding of their menu. I decided to order three items. A salad and two dinners. As I sat down to wait for my order, a staff member brought over a small salad and a small bottle of water for me to enjoy while I was waiting. I found out that the salad was a shirazi salad. It was bright and refreshing. The lemon and olive oil dressing was perfect along with the chopped onions, marinated cucumber, tomatoes, and parsley. Enjoyable! I picked up my carefully packaged order and was on my way home. I was eager to try some new flavors. The aroma of the food was still present as I opened each of the three items. The Greek salad with chicken had a great flavor. There were large chunks of lightly fried chicken pieces, with fresh cucumbers, feta cheese, olives, lettuce, onions, with their special olive and lemon dressing. This salad is a full meal, very satisfying. The chicken platter with white meat included rice, a marinated cucumber salad, a tomato, and jalapeno. I had a choice of with seeds or without and I decided to spice it up and ordered with the seeds. There is definitely a lot of food . then one dinner. I found out that it tasted good the next day. Their special sauce is amazing. The beef skewer was very tender and filled with flavor. The meat had been marinated and tasted great both warm and cold the following day, as did the other items. I was so intrigued by the menu that I went again for the gyro roll and the falafel platter. Both were well worth the return visit. Highly recommend the flavorful food at Mediterranean Grill! Their service, recipes, and food are well worth the visit. I look forward to returning to experience more items on the menu.
