Finally~ A bubble tea place that I can frequent all the time. I came here at least once a month while I was in high school and make the trip whenever I can. They have a wide variety of drinks, so I'm never at a loss for a change. My friends have loved their tea, particularly the peppermint tea. I'm not a big fan of tea, so it is a delight to have so many sweet drinks to try. I love their honeydew cream blend. It is my go-to favorite, followed closely by their Mint Chocolate and watermelon juice. Their tapioca is to die for, as well. They don't always have the small kind like I like, but there is definitely nothing left to be desired if you choose the large ones. The jelly and the basil seeds are also quite good. Teapioca lounge has the best bubble tea in Austin in terms of price, size, and quality. Every drink is highly customizable, so if you want less or no sugar or even coconut milk in your milk tea, just ask! The menu item is quite extensive, but lacks my favorite grapefruit green tea. My usual drink is the passion fruit green tea w aloe & no additional sugar. It tastes fresh and has that nice tart aftertaste that's really refreshing. I was looking for something away from the mainstream coffee shops and found this little place. My sister and I passed a couple hours in this shop enjoying the drinks and the space. We got some helpful advise from the lady working the cash register. I'm sure we will be back in the future. For anyone new to bubble teas, 1) tell them what kind of flavors you generally like 2) take their suggestion no matter how strange it may sound 3) if you don't like it, tell them and the will make you something else 4) use the straw to punch a hole in the top (this will make sense when you get there). I was actually waiting to meet someone in the parking lot. While I waited, I wondered into the Asian market there. Inside the door, I smelt this delicious aroma and it came from the Teapioca Lounge, set up inside the front entrance. I bought a box of 25 little fish shaped cakes that were filled with some wonderful creamy filling. They had just cooked these -- oh my, heavenly! I also bought a tapioca tea. Wow! I had never had anything like that in my life! Delicious! Both the people working there were very nice and friendly, too. Excellent fare for my Saturday outing! I will be going back! read more

I've only ever ordered the Thai iced tea with boba and every time it's delicious. There has never been anywhere to sit because they are always so busy so I don't get to hang out and people-watch. But the atmosphere seems fun and inviting and the drinks are spot on every time. Glad to see there's a new Round Rock location! read more

I go whenever I can, I just cannot get enough of this place. There's so many options to get and customizations to try. I have a staple that I stick to which I love but I've got with family and friends that try other flavors and love what they get. This is probably my least favorite tea spot! The service was slow, the employees weren't very respectful, my order was messed up, the lid was not sealed on my drink, the tapioca was very hard, and I now have to buy a new sweater. If it was possible I would give 0 stars. read more

The tea lounge coffee and taro milk are good. The only thing I don't like about this place is that it gets noisy and you can't really sit down to enjoy your drink. Ask for a stamp card if you plan on coming frequently. I think after the tenth drink the next one is free. read more

They had some jellys and additions I haven't seen at many pearl tea places here. For one, they have yogurt and peach jelly... YUM and YUM! It was soft and delicious. Many Teas to choose from. The Rose Green Tea is good. Love the atmosphere, large comfy booths. Some artsy pieces on the walls. Free WiFi. The staff is friendly and patient (took me a sec to figure out what I wanted) plus when he handed me my drink, he claimed he would make me a new one if I didn't like it. Obviously, that didn't happen because I thought it was great and drank the entire cup. Easy to get to location, practically right off I-35. Pretty good bobba here and my favorite is #98 - lemon kumquat plum green tea! Their milk tea and slushes are also pretty good. And the best thing is if you order something and don't like it, then just let them know and they will make you something esle, no question ask! read more

I spent a summer in Austin doing an internship for 2 months and I would say I came here at least 3 times a week. They have a variety of tapioca and jellies but I can only vouch for the tapioca which was usually perfectly chewy. I typically ordered the honey jasmine tea which is absolutely refreshing in the summer time! Occasionally the drink would be too sweet (depending on the barista) so I would get half sweet which usually fixed the problem. This is, without a doubt, my FAVORITE boba place in Austin (And trust me, I've tried them all!) Bubbles are fresh, slightly chewy (but not gummy), with a nice sweet rich-starch flavor. The teas are ALWAYS smooth and delicious, never a dull flavor! I actually have never had their Taro, which is a shame, but I absolutely adore their Frozen Matcha boba tea (I get it with soy milk, which I think enhances the earthy flavor of the matcha !). If you're a drink lover or love boba tea, this is the place to go! WARNING: They *will* get your name wrong. They think I'm Joann each time I go, and my mom has gone from Catherine to Katy! I drove by this place numerous times before going in and I am glad I finally stopped in. This is one of my new favorite places when I want to smile or picker-upper. This establishment serves tea with tapioca balls in the tea. At first, I was thinking to myself..."what the heck is this; why are there little tapioca balls in my tea"...but after tasting the tea with tapioca, I literally felt like a kid again. :) It was actually fun drinking the tea. Each tea comes with a wide-holed straw so you can suck up the tapioca balls. Each flavor is unique...I tried the Tapioca Cream Tea, Tapioca Green Tea, Pina Colada and Peppermint Tea. I have enjoyed most of the teas I have tried. The one tea I wasn't too fond of was the avocado cream tea. I guess I would have to get used to this one. They also serve coffee and I have enjoyed the Ice Cream coffee. So, if you want to feel like a kid again...give it a try and maybe I will see you there :) read more

The Tea Lounge is an Asian style tea place with a huge selection of teas, coffee, blended drinks, fruit drinks, milk drinks, and a variety of sinkers. The first time I came in, it took me a while just to read through their selections. Check out the menu on the website to see what I mean. I have tried and enjoyed their lychee green tea and their rose black tea with tapioca sinkers. They have a variety of chairs and lounging area. They have free wifi and a shelf of games to play. This place is not good. They have been out of half their menu items both times I have been here. Last time it was cream, so I got mine without. Today it was tapioca pearls. Not sure how a bubble tea place runs out of EITHER essential ingredients on weekdays mid day. The credit/debit machine has been down both times I have been here as well. This time since they were not out of "cream" I asked what kinds they had, and they told me they only use powdered non dairy coffee creamer, not real milk. I don't want to pay 3 dollars plus for a drink that uses that trans-fat filled fake stuff. I walked out today, and will not be going back. read more
