Boba tea catered for my wedding (photo by Victoria Liu photography)

I wanted to take the time to write a positive review for Sharetea in regard to their catering service. As an homage to my Asian heritage, we really wanted to serve boba at our wedding. We were very pleased with how excellent they were at communicating with us. We corresponded with the owner, Christine. She was great at going through the options, reviewing our contract, and responding to every email from us in a timely manner. You have the option to have them do full-service, deliver, pick up, or even a DIY boba bar. We chose to have them deliver 120 boba teas to our venue. Sharetea even went out of their way to put our custom wedding stickers that we provided on each cup as a special request. On the big day, their team prepped all the boba tea, delivered everything on time as scheduled, arranged all the cups on the tables, and they even gifted two full size boba teas for us, the bride and groom! The tea arrived cold and refreshing; the ice was not melted and the tea was not diluted. We chose milk tea and mango passion fruit tea. Both flavors tasted great! The boba tea was a huge hit with our guests. I highly recommend that if you want to serve boba for your wedding or any other event, go through ShareTea.

We love Sharetea! Owners are super nice and kind people. Service was great and establishment is clean. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. We got our favorite which is winter melon tea with boba and the honeydew milk tea. We love the boba pearls here because they have a sweet flavor and cooked to perfection for the perfect chew. It's not mushy and seriously is the best. You can control your drink option with no ice, less ice, or more ice and the sweetness level. I got the regular with no ice for the winter melon and it was perfect. Do I recommend this place? Yes! If you haven't tried Sharetea you must stop here to try their boba tea! One of the best in Austin!

Your Yelper Girl here. Sharetea is consistently a solid place to get boba tea. This location didn't have the friendliest service and one worker started mopping before closing time. Not the safest thing to do!! One person in our party almost slipped. Lots of yummy choices to be had here!

Unfortunately, another 3-star experience. I was in the area and needed to get some work done. Sharetea was conveniently located nearby and so I went. Ordered a ginger tea with pearls, no ice, and 30% sweetness. Took about 3 min for my drink to come out. The ginger flavor is present and the pearls have a good consistency. I always appreciate how Sharetea is generous with their pearl portions #fivelayers Their pearls today don't taste sweet; they almost taste bland. I usually order my drinks with 30% sweetness because I know the boba will add additional sugar to the tea. This wasn't the case today. Since boba is such a critical component to a bubble tea experience, consistency is key in delivering the same experience over and over. Hopefully they'll get it right next time...

I went for national boba day! The service was quick and easy and the boba shop itself is very cute. I liked the black pearl milk tea - it was a liiiittttle sweet and I wasn't given the opportunity to choose sweetness. I think there was a little more than necessary boba (I know I know get mad at me). The peach mango tea I got for my partner as they don't like coffee flavored things. Now, this may be because I did no ice as I had to transport it back home, but it was verrrrry thick. It kind of felt like drinking medicine texture, and again, was extremely sweet. All in all, it was good service & decent drinks :)

Sharetea is always a solid option for consistently good boba, and one of my go-to places in north Austin. I usually get the green milk tea with boba, 50% sweet. The boba is nice and chewy and the tea is good. The service here is excellent, they always welcome you when you come in and the drinks are made quickly.

A really solid and consistent place to get boba! It's never been that busy whenever I've gone so we've always been able to find a table and just chill. And I'm a big big fan of aiyu jelly so I'm so glad they have that as an option.

I wanted the Okinawa milk tea but they didn't have it without pearls. Well, I could get it without pearls but I would pay the same price as with pearls. And the reason why I don't get pearls at Sharetea is because they put way too much! It takes up like half the drink. So I got the regular black milk tea. Without pearls and it's pretty good. Standard taste and keeps me up.

Boba shops anywhere is a big debate. While I can't decide my favorite store I can guarantee Sharetea had the BEST grapefruit green tea. I will drive 20 minutes for this tea. It's bright, refreshing and the right balance of flavor. This is one of the places that allows you to pick your level of sweetness I get about less sweet (80%) but half sugar is just as good. The staff is very quick and kind!

A new favorite!! Stopped at this boba shop for some milk tea with pearls and peach tea with jelly, and both were delicious. The person behind the counter was extremely nice and the tea was delightful, even with half sweetness. I like that you can order less ice too (so you get more tea!). Will have to revisit for more flavors.

Left to right: matcha milk with red bean, mango green milk tea, ginger milk tea, Okinawa milk tea with boba.

Delicious milk tea spot with the best boba! Our favorites are oolong milk tea, black milk tea, ginger milk tea, ginger milk tea. You can really judge a milk tea shop by its boba - the boba here has perfectly chewy texture and they have been pretty consistent about it. They're also very generous with the boba as well - about 2-3 scoops for each cup, so a drink with boba can fill you up pretty quickly. Their fruit teas look and sound delicious too, but I haven't tried any. Definitely recommended!

Do they offer dairy-free milk or lactose-free milk?

Yes, the Fresh Milk teas have almond and soy milk options. The Classic Milk teas use non-dairy creamer.

Could anyone tell me which drinks can come without sugar? Besides the brewed teas or the fresh milk drinks.

Yes! You can ask for it with no sugar

The menu has great variety, from amazing Vietnamese coffees to refreshing sugarcane- and fruit-based boba drinks. My go-to order is the pandan coffee and the kumquat sugarcane drink. The coffee is extremely strong( which is what I expect) , and you can tell they use beans from Vietnam . They also offer great snacks, including some traditional Vietnamese street foods. Honestly, whatever you order will be good, from the fruit drinks, milk teas , smoothies, & snacks you won't be disappointed. Also, dont sleep on the croffles. I usually don't like croffles at most places because the texture can be dry / hard or overly sweet, but these are the best I've had, in my opinion.

Rating: 4.1/5 [dine in]…read more Super cute Vietnamese cafe with nice decor. You can order at the front counter or use the kiosk. They offer a variety of drinks and snacks so it took us awhile to decide on our drinks. Cloudy Taro Bliss + Lychee Jelly ($8.04): I ordered this at 75% sweet. It's perfect if you sip continuously, but the sweetness becomes more noticeable when you pause. Besides that, the drink is very smooth and has a prominent taro flavor. Popcorn Chicken ($8.99): Decent, but not the best I've had, though my friends enjoyed it more than I did. However, everyone else likes it. The portion felt a bit small for the price too. It came with a side of pickled veggies which was different. Vietnamese Stir Fry Corn ($8.49): The flavors were on point. They seem to use Vietnamese butter which makes it taste more authentic, and the Chin-su sauce really elevates it. Durian Sugarcane ($8.94): My husband thought this tasted canned rather than made with fresh sugarcane. Roasted Rice Milk Tea With Pandan Foam: My friend's husband ordered this at 100% sweetness, which was too much for me, but the flavor combination wasn't bad. Strawberry Milk Tea With Pandan Foam: My friend got this at 50% sweetness, and it was a bit sweeter than my Cloudy Taro Bliss. The drink tastes exactly like strawberry milk, so if you like that, this is for you. I enjoyed the taste, but it's not my go-to milk tea choice. Sesame Coffee: The Vietnamese coffee had a strong, bold flavor, though the sesame notes in the foam were quite subtle. Rice Paper Salad: Ordered to-go which is not recommended. Unfortunately the rice paper was hard and clumped together, even after pouring the sauce on top, which really affected the overall quality.

We made the drive up north to try it before they close since they carry some Vietnamese snacks that are hard to find in Austin. Their menu is extensive covering drinks, desserts, and snacks so it took us a while to decide on our order. All their drinks are lactose free which was great to hear. The staff was nice but it did take a while for everything to come out. Peppermint Pandan Latte / Sam Dua Bac Ha ($6.95) + Crystal Boba ($0.95): We got this at 75% sweet and it was delicious. You can distinctly taste both the peppermint and pandan and it was really refreshing. Matcha Lover ($8.75): We got this at 75% sweet as well. It is a matcha latte with matcha foam, matcha pudding, and matcha mochi. We were not huge fans of this one. The foam was really thick and creamy which made it hard to mix, and the drink had a strange taste that we think came from the flour on the matcha mochi. I think it would have been better if we had eaten the mochi off the top first before mixing everything together. Popcorn Chicken ($8.75): This was okay. They used a different type of batter than what I am used to and it was pretty bland. I didn't like the chili dipping sauce either. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is still way better to me. Mixed Soft Rice Paper With Full Topping / BT Phoi Suong Full Topping ($14): This was our first time having banh trang tron with dried meat and seafood toppings. It also came with a sliced hard boiled egg instead of quail eggs. Very interesting and different. Does having good "beverage aesthetics" make a drink taste better? No, definitely not. We both thought our drinks weren't too bad, however. I had ordered my drink with 0% sugar but I added boba to mine. My drink also already came with lychee coconut, so the two toppings sweetened my drink naturally. P2 complained that her drink was still too sweet for her liking. We appreciated the service and the pleasant ambience inside. I took off a star because the drinks were just too expensive.
