Pearl Milk Tea and Lemon Wintermelon Basil
    Generous Y.

Address is incorrect but this is one of the postings for Gong Cha in The Domain. The actual location is a small walk south. Gong Cha is an interesting chain because they can be super inconsistent across locations. When they're doing well, they're at the top of the food chain as far as chains are concerned but they can also miss really hard. The drinks here were pretty good but boba would fall closer to the bottom of my scale. Service and boba as a topping missed here. This location in particular felt unfriendly. Went in to pick up an order and had no acknowledgement whatsoever. Had to announce that I was here to pick up and got the fastest "not ready" response while walking away because it was too much hassle to pause for a second and make eye contact. Very snobby and dismissive, behavior that makes for a terrible impression. Pearl Milk Tea - a classic of all time, the milk tea is a solid creaminess with a hint of tea. Gong Cha does particularly well on the creamier taste, this location isn't much different. Boba however, was clumpy and firm. Tasted fairly old at noon and lacked flavor. Lemon Wintermelon Basil - nostalgic Hong Kong lemon tea flavor with a kick of wintermelon sweetness. This could be a new favorite especially with the heat. Refreshing, cool, and slightly sour tartness are all enhancements to the sweetness. At 30% I believe it's still fairly sweet by nature and going down to 0% is a viable option. If you're adventurous and want a new drink, I highly recommend this. If wintermelon milk tea is one of your go-tos but it's a hot day and you want something more refreshing, this is your calling.

$3 large iced tea special! Paid for milk foam & pudding

Gong cha serves consistent and good quality stuff! They are a global chain and very well know. Their teas alone are brewed very well, with lots of variety on their menu. Because this location is at the Domain on a street with lots of foot traffic, it can get pretty busy. But drinks come out relatively quick. It's kind of a small shop so seating is a bit limited. You can order at the front or at the kiosk! Restroom for customer and free WiFi! They have a rewards system and they send promos quite often. This time I had a 25% off total so yay!

I really had a great experience in Gong Cha! I tried a Passion Great Tea with mango pearls that was super refreshing and not too sweet (I love that they asked you how much sugar you want). The place is small but cozy and they were all super friendly.

Crème Brûlée Brown Sugar Milk Tea

Reliable boba tea chain, this location seems to stay very busy with to-go orders and doesn't pay much attention to customers that need to place their order in store. I waited patiently for close to 10 minutes (in an empty shop) before the staff making drinks noticed I was at the counter. The drinks are great but I was pretty disappointed with the ordering experience.

Wanted an afternoon tea or coffee and saw the boba shop. Got two, both were crème brûlée but one was dirty brown sugar and one was strawberry. I like that you can chose the ice amounts, sugar amounts and the sizes were solid. Quick turnaround on times, not much to sit indoors but easy to walk and go. If you don't like boba they do serve straw less tops. Drinks hit the spot and exactly what I wanted in ice and sugar amounts.

We got a cup of milk foam green tea ! We kinda wanted to replace real milk with other plant based milk but the staff said no to us. At other place, they could replace it for plant based one so hope they become flexible to the customers needs.

    Large Thai tea with pearls

I've ordered from Gong Cha many times but today's experience was not ideal. Tip: they don't have Thai tea listed on the menu, but you can ask for it, which was what I did. The Thai tea is good. This is mainly a review on my customer experience. I am a frequent Gong Cha customer-I know they ask for sugar and ice levels, so I ordered a medium (the smaller size) Thai tea with regular levels. The cashier then asked me what levels and I was a little annoyed because I already told him. They usually remind customers that pearls cost extra. I didn't mention it and neither did the cashier, so I thought that was good because I didn't need pearls. The payment screen didn't show up-I didn't know how much I was paying until I inserted my card and the payment was already approved...for around $14! So I asked why am I paying $14 for Thai tea? The cashier asked "didn't you order two?" I did not, and he should have confirmed this with me. So then, he proceeded to refund this money back to me and gave me a large Thai tea with pearls for free. (I didn't order pearls but free is free).

Earl grey milk tea at 50% sweetness
    Deborah L.

I was pleasantly to surprised to find they have earl grey milk tea, my favorite! At 50% sweetness, it's just right. You can customize how much ice you want in your drink. Stopping here is a must if your strolling through Rock Rose Domain. Right next to Hat Creek Burger!

Went to get a few bobas for the family and was able to get it quickly. There was no line when i had entered though there were a few people sitting inside and a few waiting for ordered. I got my usual ordered but was surprised that they didnt have the aloe topping but other than that everything about the ordereds come out great.

I am looking for creaminess with great tea flavor and this delivered. Some places have great tea flavor but don't deliver on the creamy texture and at that point, why did I order a milk tea. The one aspect that really surprised me was the consistency of the boba. On the day of, boba was chewy and bouncy. I didn't want to chug the drink at the end of the night so I put it in the fridge. To my surprise, the boba was still chewy the next day! Most boba would have hardened. Awesome place, will visit again.

THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here after a dinner at B2J tastypot and boy that was delicious! I like how you can customize your drink with level of sweetness, ice, and syrups you want put in. I ordered the black boba milk tea and it came out so fast. I was wondering why it came out so fast and that it wouldn't be good since it was likely already pre-made, however it tasted great and Milk + tea has secured another customer in me. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Damage done was $8 for a black boba milk tea. Very affordable and tastes really good. PLUS it's highly customizable, looks like this one has converted.

The drinks are better and service was fast. You self order on the kiosk and pay. Then staff will call out your name and you pick up your drink and go. It's a small shop but it's perfect to grab and go. There are limited seats and tables there. We ordered: Coco Kumquat with honey boba 4/5: it's exactly what it is for the name of the drink. Very kumquat forward and it was refreshing. I added & grass jelly to it. honeydew smoothie with honey bob 5/5 I usually don't like smoothies or milky drinks but this honeydew flavor was so good and it wasn't milky. Perfect balance! The honeydew was distant and not super artificial flavored. Do I recommend this place? Yes! Our go to for boba place in MT Market shopping center. The menu has great variety, from amazing Vietnamese coffees to refreshing sugarcane- and fruit-based boba drinks. My go-to order is the pandan coffee and the kumquat sugarcane drink. The coffee is extremely strong( which is what I expect) , and you can tell they use beans from Vietnam . They also offer great snacks, including some traditional Vietnamese street foods. Honestly, whatever you order will be good, from the fruit drinks, milk teas , smoothies, & snacks you won't be disappointed. Also, dont sleep on the croffles. I usually don't like croffles at most places because the texture can be dry / hard or overly sweet, but these are the best I've had, in my opinion.

They offer a variety of drinks and snacks so it took us awhile to decide on our drinks. Cloudy Taro Bliss + Lychee Jelly ($8.04): I ordered this at 75% sweet. It's perfect if you sip continuously, but the sweetness becomes more noticeable when you pause. Besides that, the drink is very smooth and has a prominent taro flavor. Popcorn Chicken ($8.99): Decent, but not the best I've had, though my friends enjoyed it more than I did. However, everyone else likes it. The portion felt a bit small for the price too. It came with a side of pickled veggies which was different. Vietnamese Stir Fry Corn ($8.49): The flavors were on point. They seem to use Vietnamese butter which makes it taste more authentic, and the Chin-su sauce really elevates it. Durian Sugarcane ($8.94): My husband thought this tasted canned rather than made with fresh sugarcane. Roasted Rice Milk Tea With Pandan Foam: My friend's husband ordered this at 100% sweetness, which was too much for me, but the flavor combination wasn't bad. Strawberry Milk Tea With Pandan Foam: My friend got this at 50% sweetness, and it was a bit sweeter than my Cloudy Taro Bliss. The drink tastes exactly like strawberry milk, so if you like that, this is for you. I enjoyed the taste, but it's not my go-to milk tea choice. Sesame Coffee: The Vietnamese coffee had a strong, bold flavor, though the sesame notes in the foam were quite subtle. Rice Paper Salad: Ordered to-go which is not recommended. Unfortunately the rice paper was hard and clumped together, even after pouring the sauce on top, which really affected the overall quality.
