Sip Munch is my go-to boba spot in Austin & a place that truly feels like home. I love the ambiance and decor, and the staff always make me feel so welcomed & like family. The menu has great variety, from amazing Vietnamese coffees to refreshing sugarcane- and fruit-based boba drinks. My go-to order is the pandan coffee and the kumquat sugarcane drink.The coffee is extremely strong( which is what I expect) , and you can tell they use beans from Vietnam . They also offer great snacks, including some traditional Vietnamese street foods. Honestly, whatever you order will be good, from the fruit drinks, milk teas , smoothies, & snacks you won't be disappointed. Also, dont sleep on the croffles. I usually don't like croffles at most places because the texture can be dry / hard or overly sweet, but these are the best I've had, in my opinion. read more

They offer a variety of drinks and snacks so it took us awhile to decide on our drinks. Cloudy Taro Bliss + Lychee Jelly ($8.04): I ordered this at 75% sweet. It's perfect if you sip continuously, but the sweetness becomes more noticeable when you pause. Besides that, the drink is very smooth and has a prominent taro flavor. Popcorn Chicken ($8.99): Decent, but not the best I've had, though my friends enjoyed it more than I did. However, everyone else likes it. The portion felt a bit small for the price too. It came with a side of pickled veggies which was different. Vietnamese Stir Fry Corn ($8.49): The flavors were on point. They seem to use Vietnamese butter which makes it taste more authentic, and the Chin-su sauce really elevates it. Durian Sugarcane ($8.94): My husband thought this tasted canned rather than made with fresh sugarcane. Roasted Rice Milk Tea With Pandan Foam: My friend's husband ordered this at 100% sweetness, which was too much for me, but the flavor combination wasn't bad. Strawberry Milk Tea With Pandan Foam: My friend got this at 50% sweetness, and it was a bit sweeter than my Cloudy Taro Bliss. The drink tastes exactly like strawberry milk, so if you like that, this is for you. I enjoyed the taste, but it's not my go-to milk tea choice. Sesame Coffee: The Vietnamese coffee had a strong, bold flavor, though the sesame notes in the foam were quite subtle. Rice Paper Salad: Ordered to-go which is not recommended. Sip Much is a Vietnamese boba spot with a unique menu you won't find anywhere else. My go-to is the coconut mango smoothie, but the salted oolong is also excellent. The manager is kind, and the overall vibe is relaxed. The spacious interior and comfortable seating make it a great spot to sit and chat. Prices are reasonable, drinks come out quickly, and there are never really any long lines. Parking is easy, which is a nice bonus. I also love that they serve food the popcorn chicken is fantastic and reminds me of places in LA. More boba spots should do the same. Cute! It's a little boba and snack spot. Not as many vegetarian items as I had hoped, but the drink selection is fantastic. Service is great, you put in your order at the counter and they'll bring it out to you. It's so adorably decorated in here. There's a claw machine with a bunch of cute plushies available to try to win. There's a flower wall, cozy seating, and even little motivational decals in random spots on the floor. I got the Salted Vietnamese coffee. It was so good, a fantastic blend of sweet, salty, and bitter coffee. Great combination. My sister ordered a passionfruit and guava tea at 25% sweetness and said she loved it. I only ordered the fries which come pre-seasoned and with ketchup packets. When I used to live in austin this was my fav spot to grab a quick drink at since it was so close to my apartment and gym :") I still come here anytime im in austin and its still super good! Their pandan coffee is my all time favorite and their thai tea is also sooooo good. I also tried their popcorn chicken and it was yummy too! Finally trying out Sip munch. We tried salted coffee (all the hype in Vietnam last years), avocado smoothie and chicken bites. This place really gives me the "after school cheap snack" vibe growing up in Vietnam :)) Their avocado smoothie is made with creamer instead of just condensed milk/milk, I'm not a fan of. You can really taste the flavoring in there - avocado smoothie is supposed to taste fresh and simple. Coffee was pretty good, not too sweet. The chicken tastes good but seems refried too me. This is such a nice spot to get some work done! With a good amount of tables, a few outlets, and a varied menu, it's easy to spend the afternoon here! While there were so many things I wanted to try off the menu, (I heard a lot of good things about their match, but I already had a matcha that morning), I decided to try something new - the artichoke water. What an interesting cafe! We stopped through because I saw some interesting drinks on their menu. They have some twists on Vietnamese coffee. Surprisingly I gravitated to the black sesame coffee while my husband tried the coconut coffee. I really enjoyed my drink. There was a perfect nutty flavor and it wasn't too bitter or sweet. Unfortunately the coconut coffee was not my husband's favorite. If it had some coffee jelly or texture he might have felt different. I personally don't typically get toppings with drinks unless it's red bean. I didn't see toppings so I'm not sure it's really an option or not. Service was pretty quick after we ordered. It's my first time trying Pandan coffee and it definitely did not disappoint. I was concerned about the sweetness and asked if that can be adjusted, but the coffee is premade so you won't be able to adjust it But that's not a problem at all because the coffee taste great and not too sweet at all. You can customize the coffee by adding more milk or more coffee if you'd like but I like it just the way it is. Great service and clean location with plenty of chairs to chat and hang out. I like the Vietnamese chill music too! There's a really awesome car wash called the Pits that's down the road. The coffee drinks are tasty! I love the robust coffee flavors and it being mellowed out with the variety of creamy foam. The pandan foam was delicious, but I love the simplicity of the sea salt foam. I also ordered the fried chicken and lobster balls. The fried chicken isn't bad, but I thought the lobster balls were slightly rubbery. When we came to this cafe at around 5pm, it was pretty empty. The cashier warmly greeted us and was very kind and friendly! He brought our drinks out once they were ready. We ordered the strawberry matcha latte and the ube coffee. Between the two, I thoroughly enjoyed the strawberry matcha the most!! Compared to other places I've been to, this drink usually tends to taste very artificial, overly sweet, and has a grainy consistency. The strawberry matcha here was perfect. The strawberry flavor was so good, and the matcha flavor wasn't overpowering. The drink was smooth and refreshing! The ube coffee was pretty strong since it's Vietnamese coffee, which is very concentrated and rich. I couldn't necessarily taste the ube cream because the flavor of the coffee was too dominating. Once I waited for some of the ice to melt, the coffee was easier to drink. Still good though! The interior is super cute, and I can picture people studying or getting work done here. The menu has a variety of risky/unique/nonbasic to non-risky/basic/familiar but still yummy tea and fruit drinks. You can get iced coffees, iced teas, ice blended, or smoothies, and it's easy to tell which drinks are offered with fresh fruit. The iced Vietnamese coffee with pandan cheese milk foam was out of this world. The coffee is strong and the pandan foam is delicious and creamy, adding the perfect sweetness to it. I definitely prefer this over the condensed milk you normally see in viet coffee. I also loved the peach smoothie, made with fresh fruit. Adding lychee jelly as a topping was a great choice! This is a nice little boba shop. It did feel like we had quite a long wait. I had the strawberry matcha boba and the milk foam ube croffle. My matcha was decent but not great. My friend had a piña colada and really enjoyed it. The ube milk foam was pretty bland and didn't have much flavor. I got sesame coffee which has authentic Vietnamese coffee on the bottom topped with nutty sesame milk foam (you can even chew the sesame seeds). The coffee is bold and strong but isn't bitter or acidic. Definitely a drink that keeps you awake and rolling all day. Prices are definitely on the higher end but consider its strong and high quality coffee, unlike diluted coffee at many other places. The shop is bright, clean, and nicely decorated. It's a perfect place for a cute date, family gathering, or friends get-together. They also offer milk tea, fruit tea, special drinks like lemongrass drinks, sugar cane juice, and some small bites. I visited here for drinks since I heard good things about this spot. I think they are still mostly sip, as I didn't see very many food options yet. They have a good selection of vietnamese coffee (7 different ones), milk tea, fruit tea, smoothies, slushies, sugar canes, matcha, bubbly bliss (sparkling drinks), and croffles (croissant and waffle combination). Look out for the sign along the floor indicating their seasonal drinks. On my visit, they were offering an artichoke+wintermelon drink and a tamarind tea. I ordered a few vietnamese coffees and a dragon twist fruit tea. I liked the dragon drink as it wasn't too sweet or bitter. The pandan coffee was pretty good and strong, but I am not a coffee drinker. Everyone else in ky group seemed to like their coffees a lot. Overall, it was a good experience. The music they were playing was pretty mellow and American modern pop. It was a morning when I visited, so it may be more upbeat at different times throughout the day. I am only concerned when they get busy as I only saw one employee who was doing everything. They're bringing back Vietnamese coffee from cafe sua da to now egg Vietnamese coffee and adding all kinds of foams (from salted to pandan to sesame to crème brûlée). I got too excited and forgot to take a picture of the pandan one. I love their coffee and how strong it is. Don't change it cause then it'll just be a typical boba tea shop with just sweet drinks and the coffee flavor would be lost. This may be our new spot to get coffee.
