    Peach Milk Tea with Taro
    Dylan T.

Pros: - It's a small place with a pleasant ambiance - I ordered Peach Milk Tea with Taro, which had a unique light fruit flavor Cons: - On the expensive side for an average sized tea - I was not fond of the gritty taro texture - I got food poisoning afterwards, and it was a really uncomfortable experience.

So delicious! This location has been open since November but had their grand opening this past weekend. It's by the UT campus so there are a lot of students around, it's best to find street parking because the parking garage behind the store is a scam!! See my review for that.. Anyway, half of the shop is fuzz lab where you can make your own rug. Prices are steep.... There are probably 12 seats for boba patrons, The baristas are fast. I ordered and had my drink within 3 minutes! They also allowed me to bring my pup in. Which was nice because I had no other choice. I got the brown sugar boba with Oreo and milk foam, yum. I usually don't order such a decadent drink but the foam was so delicious and addicting. The boba was perfect chewy and soft, I got half sweet and it was perfect!

Great drinks, great service. Owner very nice! Got my favorite drink, Mango grapefruit boom. Would totally recommend this drink to my besties!

A cute boba place located near UT campus. The boba place is very small though with limited seating and place to stand. It shares a place with fuzzball which is making your own rug design which can be a cute date idea. You mainly order on a tablet. The drinks are normal, nothing special.

Tsaocaa is known for their pretty looking and delicious fruit drinks. Their milk foam or cheese foam is yummy but it tastes like buttercream or cake frosting, which is interesting. It's a nice add to the drink but not necessary. If you're craving traditional black milk tea, green milk tea, or oolong milk tea, this place won't hit the spot. Their milk tea tastes like it's watered down a lot. Pricing is on the high side. The shop is bright and cute with white sets of tables and chairs, great spot for hanging out. It tends to get crowded so not ideal for working or studying.

Cute bubble tea place in North Austin! They have great flavors for bubble tea and also have macarons, so if you like sweet stuff, you should def. try this place. I got bubble milk black tea with handmade brown sugar. Since brown sugar was applied inside of the cup, I chose 0% for sweetness which was still sweet for me, but it was SO delicious! While I was sitting here, I saw a lot of to-go orders and delivery orders as well, but they made drinks so fast like professionals. The staff was all nice and friendly as well.

This new boba shop in West Campus has nice, homey vibes. It felt like a very Chinese place as the default language on the ordering screen is Chinese, which I think is odd, and I heard both the employees and customers speaking Mandarin around me. I had the peach milk tea, and it was good. I like how there's the option to substitute coconut milk at no extra charge. They had a lot of appealing fruit milk tea options. The boba is very expensive as I got a drink for $7, but the quality is good and tastes better to me than many of the other chain boba shops near campus. I found it strange that half the shop is taken up by a rug tufting business, but it looked like a fun activity.

It's a pretty nice boba place that is shared with a rug making/ acrylic pouring workshop. The drinks are little more on the expensive side, but it was pretty good. Everything is not very sweet though, I got 100% sugar and it was still not that sweet. The boba itself is not sweetened and they're a bit smaller than normal boba, but overall it was pretty good.

This boba place is a cute aesthetic shop in UT west campus, and it's a super convenient place to drop by if you're feeling a sweet treat! I personally prefer their fruit teas over their milk teas, I get the peach strawberry tea with nata jelly- and it hits the spot every time! They have two tablets that you can place your orders on and the service is normally pretty quick! I would say that the vibes are not that good because most of the time there aren't too many people inside and there is no music playing so it feels kind of awkward. They also give you three options for sweetness (0, 50, or 100%) but I always get 0% since they are on the sweeter side.

    Low quality Matcha Slush

I've tried this place a twice due to being desperate for matcha. Don't be as desperate as I was, this place sucks. Everything is low quality and gross. Bread is extremely stale. Matcha is that low quality matcha taste. I asked for no boba and they still put boba and their boba is also disgusting. If you do delivery they don't care about your special requests (even if you buy them). Their waffles are also stale and not worth it. I can't believe I wasted my money on them again. Don't be like me. I'm pretty sure there's no good LATE-night matcha options, I've tried nearly all of them and been disappointed.

    Nice drink

The jellies added just enough sweetness to make the drink more enjoyable without overpowering it. Since we ordered everything at lower sweetness, that little boost made a noticeable difference. Once properly mixed, the salted crema elevated the drink even more. It added dimension and somehow lifted the entire flavor profile, making everything taste fuller and more cohesive. Pandan, Pandan, Pandan -- I liked the flavor, but I felt like the 25% sweetness dulled some of the pandan's impact. It ended up tasting almost like a gentler, blander matcha -- which, honestly, I didn't mind since I'm not always a fan of matcha bitterness. Let's Go Ski -- easily my favorite of the night. The sweetness was mellow and balanced, and the winter melon flavor really stood out in the best way. Winter melon can sometimes lean overly artificial, but this one tasted just right. Like the Jaded, the salted crema worked wonders here when mixed properly. The way it accentuated the drink genuinely elevated the entire flavor profile without overwhelming the mellow sweetness. The boba here was absolutely perfect texture-wise -- chewy with just the right bite. It wasn't as sweet as I expected boba to be, but honestly, that worked in its favor. Sometimes, less sweetness lets you focus more on the actual flavor of the drink instead of the toppings stealing the spotlight. My best friend actually went back for another drink before the night ended and chose the Taro-Zo Matcha at 25% sweetness. Taro-Zo Matcha -- we absolutely loved the subtlety of this drink. We both agreed it tasted even better once mixed properly, and whatever they use as the base for their ube crema is honestly addictive. It added this creamy richness that made the drink incredibly easy to keep sipping. To put it into perspective: between the three of us, the drink lasted all of two minutes before it completely disappeared.

Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.

I bet this place is very busy at night. It actually was busy when I was there. I tried to take my pictures away from people. I ordered the Honeydew Smoothie with the Tapioca Pearls. I have to say those pearls stood out. I never had pearls taste so good; they were so tasty and chewy. I was actually stirring my straw, moving the pearls around to get a lot of them at once to come through the straw. Now, granted, on its own, the pearls were coming through, but I think I got a little greedy. I also noticed there are food items on the menu. I saw more than a few entrees I like, and some I want to try. I want to dry the Rice Ball, Fried Tofu with Peanut Sauce, and more. There's so much here to try, and I can't wait.
