The tea is delicious and the setting is perfect for kids and grown ups alike. There are so many toys for little ones to keep themselves entertained. The person behind the counter was also super sweet and attentive. I love that this feels like a family owned establishment. I will definitely be back.
This is a really cute boba tea spot with catchy neon sign decor and a cozy seating space. The location is next to a gas station which can seems kinda shady but it's a different world inside. They messed up my order though. I wanted to try the Boba Milk Tea crema but received just the green tea instead. When I pointed out the error, they just added some crema on top without fixing the drink properly :/
Let's see: it's a boba tea place in a gas station plaza. Literally only 2-3 parking spots per business in the plaza. Inside is clean and nicely decorated. They have a few board games sitting around on tables. They appear to have a variety of flavors. Friendly staff. They have some type of rewards program. Ended up with a drink about 1/2 full of ice, so a bit miffed about that. I had gotten their strawberry matcha latte with 0% sugar. They mentioned their matcha flavor would then be a but more prominent (fine by me). The strawberry portion tasted like what you'd expect when you reduce strawberries, and then mix it with milk to make a strawberry milk, so that worked for me. Other than that, there was some dude loitering around in the parking lot who held his hand out at me, right arm stretched straight out, palm up, directly in front of my vehicle, seemingly panhandling. He mumbled something about a boot. I said "no" and walked into the shop to grab the beverage. After consuming the beverage, the dude was gone, so seems like this was just a transient scenario. Would I come back again? Only as a matter of convenience if I happen to be in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way to grab something from here.

I go for 100% sugar and less ice just so I have more milk tea. It truly is my favorite boba spot in Austin, and I feel like their prices are very reasonable and not yet upcharged compared to other spots here in Austin. They don't have food though, just really delicious drinks.
Love it! I got the honey milk tea and saw that they have brown sugar pearls, so I added those too. I like sweeter drinks so I was worried if their 75% sweetness might not be enough but it was just right! My boyfriend got oolong milk tea with 25% sweetness. This was also good-you can really taste the tea. Love the pearls! They also have games like bingo and jenga inside.
Been going to this place for a few years now, and I love seeing how much it improved. The boba never disappoints and it's always so delicious.

We love boba, so of course being in a new city meant we had to find boba. Our friend brought us to this shop, which was located at a gas station. The shop was pretty cute inside and the menu boasted so many options for tea and toppings. I'm in my matcha phase and was so surprised & delighted to see coffee jelly as a topping, so it was a no brainer! I got the matcha latte with coffee jelly, 50% sweet and light ice, while boyfriend stuck with his classic order - Milk Tea with boba and egg pudding. It was quite enjoyable and now obsessed with coffee jelly.
My friends and I love coming here to hang out and play games, although I wish they had more options and some of the pieces are missing. I really enjoy the flavor options here! Especially the fruit tea options like lychee. The boba is okay here so I often opt for coconut jelly. I hope they add more topping options!
Was surprised to find a boba tea shop in Austin, so we made a stop for a drink. It's located an in unusual spot by a gas station, but once you walk inside, it is spacious and has a very inviting decor. We shared a Thai Green Milk Tea ($6), which is a pretty unique flavor to order that I've encountered. Sugar level is by increments of 25%, which we got 25%. Pretty good overall. Would recommend this spot for your boba fix.
On the outside, this boba shop does not look like anything substantial. But MAN. The boba here is SO good. My friends and I decided to come here on a whim one day and did not expect much, but we were so impressed by the quality of the drinks and boba here. Their milk tea is refreshing and creamy. I typically go for the Green Milk Tea. I've tried their fruit teas as well and really enjoyed those too. Their Kumquat Green Tea is super refreshing, and I recommend it if you want something lighter than milk tea. It's kind of got an orange-y or citrus taste to it and pairs well with the aloe vera or lychee jelly. Overall, you can't go wrong with the fruit or milk teas here !

The boba was sweet and supple. The tea was fragrant and aromatic. The atmosphere, even better. The fact that there is such good boba in this area of town was a nice surprise to me. I had a great time here with my work friends, and it was a great place to study as well. Fast internet was a big plus here.
I recommend the: Strawberry Lime green tea and the peach smoothie. Found this gem while being in the East area, and I can tell this will be my go to when I am downtown. Decorations and tables are cute and they also have board games, super important when I am have my daughter around. read more
Tea Cup Boba House is a fun spot when I'm craving a refreshing green tea drink! I ordered the Peach Green Tea, and it was fruity, and refreshing. I also really like that they have a good rewards program where you keep track of your purchases with your cell phone number. Always a bonus when you're a regular boba fan and can earn perks from future visits. They always have friendly service and my drink order is ready quickly. Driving back to Austin from Waco for an early AM flight, I wasn't starving and wanted something light. I had many questions for the girl who took my order, she was patient, kind and understanding. I only drink tea or water as my normal daily drinks ( no coffee, pop etc), I had never heard of tea with crema. Game changer! Whatever that crema is on the tea is phenomenal for your tastebuds, it's sweet, creamy and a bit salty. I need to email them and ask for a recipe! I also ordered a mango smoothie, I didn't love that flavor as much, but was drinkable and I finished it. They have numerous flavors from fruit to normal/regular tea with black/green tea. If I lived in Austin I would be a regular for sure at this place. Parking is easy, prices fair, staff actually seemed to enjoy their job. They do have seating areas and games like jenga, so you can chill and enjoy time with friends and your drinks. read more

Boba fever and found this place right before closing! Thai milk Tia with boba is my fav and this place doesn't disappoint because the boba is dark and chewy!! Also you can adjust the sugar content and even get milk alternatives. I was happy!! It's hard to find by a donut shop and a gas station google maps gave us crazy directions but it was easy to get to!! read more

Good tea. Try the boba jelly in your drink. This is really small tea place in a gas station but a tea good one. The ambiance is really nice and the people are very polite. They take very good covid measures too (as per September 2021). read more

Easily the best brown sugar boba I have ever had. I usually find boba places in the Austin alright but this one blew me away. The drink itself is extremely creamy and has a sweet syrupy taste. The boba was fresh and had the perfect amount off chewiness. Don't let the location being next to a gas station fool you, this is some amazing boba! read more
Love the green milk tea boba here!! Has a very nice scent and did not taste powdery/fake, you can actual taste the tea in this. It's a chill vibe inside, nothing insanely cute, but I came for the good boba. Service was great! Very fast to make your orders. read more
Who knew Austin had such an amazing boba shop? I've had Tea Cup in my bookmarks for a while, but I honestly did not think much about it because it doesn't seem very authentic. However, a spontaneous trip took us to Tea Cup, and now it's one of our most frequented boba shops. Service is always good and fast. Their green tea milk tea is so, so, so good. Their boba quality is also really good. Tea Cup is located in a very inconspicuous location next to a gas station, so you might miss it if you're looking for it. Definitely give Tea Cup a try! I'm not easily impressed by boba shops, but Tea Cup definitely deserves a 5 stars. read more

Welcome to Tea Cup! A cute, tiny boba shop located in South Austin. Finding Tea Cup was a bit of a challenge, as it is tucked next to a sketchy gas station. The great thing about Tea Cup is they use a non-dairy creamer in their drinks, which is perfect for vegans (& those lactose intolerant)! We ordered two of the Oolong Milk Teas, which tasted a bit diluted. In my opinion, the tea could be steeped longer to truly encompass the Oolong flavor. read more

Tea Cup boba has great milk tea flavors and a nice variety of boba. My favorite is the strawberry milk tea, although it costs extra to order the strawberry or mango. The only possible negative is that these teas are SWEET - I recommend only ordering at 50 or 75% sweetness levels. read more

Got a thai tea with boba. There was a small line, but they moved through the line pretty fast. Not a bad Thai tea, and the boba tasted fresh. Overall, we will come back to get another Thai tea. read more
I tried this place for the first time this week as I was craving a milk tea. I ordered a strawberry milk tea with boba at 75% sweet. The tea is very, very strong which is great if that's what you like, but to me it was a little off-putting. 75% sweet tasted very much like 150% sweet, so I'd definitely go down next time. It wasn't the best milk tea I've had, so that's why I gave a 4 star rating. If you like sweet and strong, this is the place for you. read more
My team and I come here (almost) weekly for our boba runs and have since started a boba work channel for when we all need an afternoon boba pick me up. The boba here is perfect and I can taste the quality of the tea that is brewed fresh with a good balance. You can customize your drinks based on sweetness, ice level, dairy options, and toppings. All the workers here are friendly and we couldn't be happier to have a quality boba store near our company. P.S - please sponsor us or cater to our company one day :) read more

You know it's just plain good. Their drinks are always fresh--they're a bit on the sweet side, I usually order at 75%--nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Never too busy when I go in, which is nice when I want a quick drink after work. read more
We were pumped to hear that there was a new boba spot in South ATX! But it's not the boba spot for this yelper, sadly. After some dinner across the street, a few of us stopped by. Tea cup is located in the same plaza as the gas station and a new donut shop apparently. Parking is limited, but we were able to find a spot right outside their storefront in the gas station. It was later in the evening, so I opted for the watermelon tea drink since it was non-caffeinated. Their tapioca boba pearls were way too soft and didn't have a chewy QQ texture. I also requested 0% sweetness (as I usually do, yes I'm crazy) and the watermelon drink was too sweet for my taste. I asked which fruit teas were made with real fruit, and this one was the only one. They also said that the taro was powdered. So that just limited my selection easily. Service was friendly, and the folks working deserve 5 stars. I do love that they have strong wifi and an assortment of seats for people to sit in and play board games. They also have a one-stall restroom for customers, but it wasn't entirely checked on for items (like toilet paper) that was completely out. Evidently, the prime reason for a boba shop itself should be the boba. I would dare say that I will continue to drive farther up north for better boba. Thanks for the taste test, Tea Cup.
