A good bubble tea on a hot day really hits the spot, and this place is one of my go-tos in Austin. I usually keep it simple with milk tea or taro, and I like that they let you substitute oat milk. The boba itself is sweet and chewy, which I love, and the sturdy cups they serve everything in are no joke. Parking can be a little tricky since it's mostly parallel, but the location makes it fun to grab a drink and then walk around 6th. I got the Thai tea, Boba. Definitely not the best one I've EVER gotten but it was all right, it wasn't bad, it had an additional black tea flavor to it, which I would say made it pretty good. My friend got a strawberry Matcha that was insanely too sweet, but the lady was super nice and she remade it and it was much better for sure the second time around. And my other friend got a Taro drink that was not bad. The space inside was very cute and definitely a nice photo op moment. read more

Saw that DD was running a HH special and wanted some refreshment delivered since I'm suffering with some intense seasonal allergies and wanted to stay in. Was pleasantly surprised at with the lychee fruit teas. I got it with fragrant jasmine tea and some mango popping boba. 50% sweet was as high as I would go on the sweetness scale so i can probably scale down. The prices weren't too bad especially with the DD HH and delivery markup as you would expect. I got the Taro Milk tea as well which was pretty milky though I would have preferred a little more taro taste not sure if this is possible without increasing the sugar level. I also noticed they are in East Austin so next time I'll try to stop by. read more

I was walking here and then there was a heavy downpour as if the universe was saying hurry up. Anyway I was drenched and the hospitality here was incredible, an instant "do you want some paper towels to dry off?" without hesitation before I even attempted to order. Then the boba was delicious. Empathy was 6/5 and boba was 5/5. This spot is very dessert centric with the sweetness, as opposed to say, boba spots that are heavy on tea. Set expectations accordingly and it's a solid spot. Small interior with cute decals. One green grassy wall and another purple flower wall, both with neon lights for the aesthetic pictures. Inside seats roughly 8 people. Looks like there's wifi but no restrooms. Jasmine Milk Tea w/ Boba - extremely creamy and in a good way. There was an after taste of toasted crema but stronger than the typical creme brûlée flavor. Campfire vibes that I'm here for! Boba was also chewy and sweet, one of the better boba toppings I've had here. Note the drinks seem to be on the sweeter end so go lighter than normal (I got 30% but wish I chose 0%). Not a bad thing just something to account for. read more

This is my favorite boba spot in Austin. I always get their milk tea and taro tea with regular sweetness, regular ice, and with boba. I always use substitute milk and I greatly appreciate that I can substitute for oat milk! The boba here is sweet so that's why I like it. If you don't like your drink to be too sweet I recommend you get the boba but ask for sweetness to be lowered. To park here it can be tricky. I usually park right in front but it's all going to be parallel parking. It's nice to walk around 6th and then go for boba. The people here are very kind and patient with me. Inside there is a cute photo area where you can get cute pics. There isn't a lot of space to sit down and drink your boba so keep that in mind. Overall I have no feedback for this place. Nut allergy friendly. A very pricey boba shop on the walkable 6th Street, Love Bubble Tea has surprisingly good boba and tea while suffering from a dose of sweetness. Despite ordering 30% sugar, it was still too overpoweringly sweet. My friend's assam black milk tea (50% sugar, customized with oat milk!) was nicely offset by their seasonal pumpkin spice option. Another star of their drink is the boba. I highlighted it above but the texture is perfect, on the soft and chewy side. If I could give it a 4.5/5 I would, due to the sweetness and the price. From what I can tell, this shop is run by one woman who does it all. She is incredibly sweet and I noticed that she made sure everyone liked their drinks. At other shops staff seem bored/impatient when we're figuring out our order, but the staff at Love Bubble were so kind and we're like "take your time- let's get it right!" There's finally a boba place on the eastside~! The drinks were surprisingly good - my personal favorite is the Tiramisu milk tea - the flavor is spot on and it's delicious! Cute little bubble tea shop with really nice front of the house service. I left my credit card there and they were kind enough to return it to me! I ordered ginger tea at 30 percent sweetness. I would likely order something else next time. I did not like that the ginger tasted like it had other spices like cinnamon added to it (it tasted more like chai than ginger tea) and the tea tasted like it was made from pre-mixed syrup. East 6th finally has a boba place! And it's yummy! I normally get milk teas at boba places but it's hot AF right now so I went with some of the fruity concoctions. The matcha mojito was refreshing, a tad grainy but tasty! I would recommend it at 50-75% sweet. I also had the yuzu love and would recommend that at 30% or less sweet with basil seeds. That hit the spot! The owner was wonderful. Super friendly and helpful. If you're weirded out by the idea of "eating" your drink, just don't get your bubble tea with toppings lol. I love that there's a new boba shop on east! But unfortunately I think there are better boba shops around Austin! I got their "special" honeydew smoothie and when it came out, it was neon green! One sip of that artificial syrup and I knew it wasn't good. Needless to say, I did not drink any more of my drink. It was just awful. My friend also ordered the mango milk tea and said it was awful. Unbelievably, downtown(ish) Austin finally has a boba tea shop. Downtown Austin has no boba tea shops that I am aware of up until now; it makes me think that there is either not a demand for boba tea in downtown Austin, or boba tea shops are not profitable. Either way, I hope Love Bubble Tea survives because the boba teas are yummy. I ordered a medium Taro Ice Milk slushie with boba with zero sugar added. It was plenty sweet and delicious. The price was the same or *less* than every other boba tea shop I have frequented. There is a public parking garage about a block to the east in case you are driving. Service was good too but hope they get more employees so the person at the cash register doesn't have to also make the drinks. read more
