I love the mango drinks here! They have a lot of self service machines so that you can quickly and easily order the drink you like most! There are also photos of the drinks and a description of what is in each drink so you can choose what you are in the mood for! This location is right next to the UT campus so it is very convenient. Parking is a bit of a hassle during busy times since they only have street parking, which is often full during the daytime. But there is plenty of seating here for anyone who wants to grab tea and study or get some work done. I usually do 70% sweet and add boba! Every mango and strawberry drink I have tried has always been a huge hit. But the super fruit tea tasted a bit more medicinal than I would have liked. Overall, this is one of my go to boba places when I'm visiting Austin!

Love this boba place! I got their taro milk tea (large, 50% sugar, less ice) and it was so delicious! They use real taro, not powder and you can taste the freshness. The amber boba is chewy and goes wonderfully with the drink. Parking may be difficult to find. You may try finding street parking inside West Campus (the area behind the shops with the apartments).

Moge Tee is expensive but so good. This is a nice spot near campus to catch up with friends. They have wifi, although the music is quite loud, so it's more of a chatty place than a work environment. I I used one of their faulty ordering tablets, which appears to force customers to tip, but the others did not have that same issue. I hope someone reads this and gets it fixed. I had the brown sugar milk tea, which was delicious. I paid $8 for the large drink, which was very pricey but a nice occasional treat.

Parking is tight. You can order from any of the kiosks. You'll listen to your order number being called out to grab your drinks. Great place to study - all the tables have outlets to charge your electronic devices. It would get crowded during normal hours bc it's in the heart of UT. Creme Brulee Milk Tea - this is nothing like Feng Cha's Creme Brulee Milk Tea. It's more of a lighter, brown sugar milk tea. Yogurt Watermelon Tea - watermelon flavoring is Creme Brulee Matcha Milk Tea - strong matcha flavor

One of several boba spots on the block about a mile from downtown Austin. Worth the walk. The green tea boba with lemon, 30% sweet, light ice had a nice flavor. The boba was a little soft, but still very good. Would order again if I were here. B ordered a grape slush cheese foam drink that reminded me of a sweet creamsicle. Not my kind of drink, but he liked it.

I have loved boba all my life, but this is the first boba shop that has made me fall in love with a drink. I am in love with the mango tea slush with cheese foam. Every time I get that drink, I fall in love with life again and it brings me happiness. For general drink recommendations, I obviously recommend the mango tea slush. The tea slushes do come in different flavors if mango is not your vibe. I've tried the grape, watermelon, strawberry, and mango. All of them have been amazing but mango is my favorite! They do use real fruit in their slushes, which is why I think I like them so much. They taste very refreshing with the real fruit. I recommend adding cheese foam too. The drinks here aren't that sweet, so I typically go with 100% sweetness (generally do 75% or 50% at other boba shops). I have tried a few milk based drinks from here and they were okay. I would need to try a few more of those drinks to give a full review.

Taro tofu pudding milk with boba

Had to check out a boba shop while in town & this was conveniently a 10 min walk from the hotel I was staying at. Since this is located on the main, Guadalupe Street, I'm not if there were any other parking available besides street parking. It may not look like much from the outside but it's a super cute place inside. There were a handful of iPad kiosk to order from - plus there's pictures which I appreciate. Of course, seeing that they have fresh taro options, I had to get one. I went with the taro tofu pudding milk with boba (I would've went with milk tea option but it was already late in the day and I wanted to make sure I get sleep). I asked the worker there for her suggestion on sweetness level and she recommended 0%.. and mentioned I liked a little bit of sweet so she then said 30%.. but I ended up getting 50%. To be honest, after mixing the drink up, I should've went with 100% or even 75% sweetness because there was barely any sweetness. Regardless, it was a refreshing drink for the hot weather but definitely would a higher sweet level for this drink. Plus, I was surprised that the pricings here weren't much different from bay area's. Also, it's conveniently located near the university.

I came here late night right before they closed! I loved how you can place your order in a kiosk and it's very user friendly. I was very happy I had the option to select oat milk over whole milk! Makes a huge difference and I've been to many boba places that did not have that option. I ordered the purple yam with oat milk and boba. VERY TASTY! My order was out in all of 2 minutes. Definitely would come back. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because when I walked in I made eye contact with the employee and she didn't greet me at all. Not a "hello" or "welcome"... little things like that make a difference.

Solid boba place offering many options, high quality ingredients and a cute atmosphere. Drinks are a bit pricier than usual - being $10 or more for a drink, but even with the cost it's actually my pick of boba places among of the handful located along Guad. If the cost were $1-2 less per drink I'd say it'd really hit the sweet spot for being a fully positive experience, but in the end I do value quality and would definitely recommend Mogee for any of your boba needs.

I was surprised to see a large boba tea franchise appear in Austin before anywhere in California. MÖGE TEE has locations in 15 other states while the Golden State will be debuting a few stores soon according to their website. This spot is located in a heavy vehicle traffic corridor of the UT campus. Nearby curbside parking is available if you pay at a kiosk. It was difficult to cross Guadaloupe St from W 20th St because the crosswalks were further up or down the block. The inside of the store was clean and modern. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the lack of a cashier. All orders were placed at one of several stations that had a screen to choose your items. After paying and receiving a number, you waited for your order to be called out. Their drink offerings were standard with most of the campus boba tea shops including the option of cheese foam or yogurt. The presence of basic maki rolls on the menu seemed out of place though. I picked a Super Fruit Tea which had ingredients of fresh watermelon, orange, lime, and lemon mixed with freshly brewed green tea. Light ice and the addition of chewy regular bubble (i.e. boba pearls) were my modifications. The price was a sticker shock at $5.95 for a regular size and $0.75 for the bubble. Adding tax and gratuity created a tab of over $8 which was hefty for something less than a large sized drink. The wait time wasn't too bad, maybe about 10 minutes since the store was moderately busy with students. The fruit flavors and tea quality were good but like a few other reviewers, I docked one star from my rating because the value did not match the competition.

    Rose Oolong Cheese Foam Topper
    Christina H.

As you walk on the drag, you'll notice a section where about 4-5 tea shops compete for your love and affection. Mogee Tee is the latest addition to the strip and is a tough contender that's here to stay. I ordered the Cheese Foam Rose Oolong Tea, which was the easiest thing to slurp down, especially with it's no-straw "sippy cups". Sadly, not vegan friendly on the milk teas, as they use dairy powder.

    a variety of iced drinks
    Drew C.

Been here couple of times already during my visits in town and they always are consistent in my experience. I like the tapioca here, the texture and the consistency of it has been good. The teas don't come as sweet as well even if it's 75% which is a plus for me. Had the mango bubble tea for my last visit & it was good & not too sweet (didn't adjust the sweetness). Anything here uji matcha is good as well. Parking can be problematic though that's all I can say in the downside when visiting.

    Glob of yogurt
    erica t.

The drinks are ok but heaven forbid you want to alter an order somehow. If you want to add or subtract something from your drink and it's not listed on the kiosk, you will be interrupted with a no before you can finish your sentence and that's coming directly from the owner. That was my very first interaction with this place. We gave it a 2nd chance and same thing again. I wanted to add yogurt to my drink and immediately got turned down again. So I had to change my whole order to one that already had yogurt in it from the menu and I guess the girl preparing my drink didn't like that too much cause she just flopped a glob of yogurt off the side of the cup. Even the rude owner made it look more presentable the first time. Oh and if you are going because the cup lids are cute, that will also depend on the mood of the person preparing it if you get one or not. Sheesh!

While exploring the many museums across the University of Texas campus, a quick caffeine break was needed for my girlfriend and we were overwhelmed by the number of options on The Drag. It makes sense that there are plenty of places to choose from because of the large number of UT students. Everyone needs a little coffee in their lives. One of the highest reviewed ones with a large pool of ratings was Lucky Lab Coffee and after checking a few quick reviews, we decided to give it a chance. Lucky Lab has five locations in Austin (four on campus) and one location in Dripping Springs. The one we were at off The Drag was their flagship. This location serves a little bit of everything from sandwiches to pastries, salad to quiche, and of course, coffee. As we walked inside the flagship, it is easy to notice how tight the space is. There is very little seating inside at their bar, but they make up for it with plenty of shaded outdoor space that is perfect for a nice day. Scanning their menu, we landed on some drinks from their winter menu. I was intrigued by their Pomegranate Rosemary Latte while my girlfriend tried their Ginger Spice Mocha. We got them both iced. First, it is interesting to see the fusion of pomegranate and rosemary in a latte. I was intrigued by those flavors. Their drink sizes are 12 oz, 16 oz, and 20 oz, each adding an additional 50 cents to each upgrade. All milk alternatives cost 1 dollar. It was only a short wait to get our coffees and the cup with the little lab on it was cute. I think specialty drinks have an opportunity to be amazing and one of a kind or the worst drink imaginable. This pomegranate rosemary latte did not fall into either category exactly, but leaned more toward the latter. I love pomegranates and I always appreciate how earthy rosemary can be in a coffee. One of my favorite lattes I have ever had has rosemary in it. This was just not working for me. I shamefully did not finish my coffee. As for my girlfriend, she did not like her ginger spice mocha. I could not imagine gingerbread syrup not working in a mocha, but after trying it myself it was not for me either. It seems like a perfect match, but here the gingerbread is competing with the chocolate and instead of complementing each other they clash. She told me that the flavors were "un-mocha like". She drank less than half of her coffee before tossing it as well. Neither of us wanted to dislike Lucky Lab. They seem well established and I felt like they were trustworthy based on reviews, but I wonder what these previous reviewers were tweaking on or what magical concoction of coffee granted from heaven above they were sipping on because we were distraught by how disappointing these drinks were. I would like to give Lucky Lab Coffee Co the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe the specialty drinks were not up to par with their traditional beverages. However, the almost 30 different syrup options on their wall make me feel they lack a little focus and try too hard to stand out. They lose what makes a coffee good, which is coffee. I want to say I will give them a second shot in the future to see if it was just an off day or a bad beverage pick. Too many shots turns a Lucky Lab into Old Yeller. The lab needs to be put on a leash before I think about returning. RIYL: options

I was a little confused when I drove up because I didn't realize that it's inside the Retreat Yoga Studio. Because it's in a Yoga Studio, there isn't much seating (though they did have tables set up outside). The vibe was relaxing and calm. I don't know what scent they had in there, but it smelled nice. This wouldn't be a place to study or work as the seating is limited and I didn't see many outlets. There was a small area with bar stools if you need a tabletop, but most of the seating was couches and lounge chairs. It's more of a place to relax or catch up with a friend. I love when coffee shops have signature drinks. I ordered the Cajeta Crème Brûlée Cappuccino. It was so good, but it came in a small cup. The smoky sea salt was delicious! I don't typically care for sea salt in beverages, but it complimented the flavors so well! I asked the barista to sub oat milk which they were able to do but he informed me that some of the ingredients had dairy (which was fine). I appreciated the disclosure. I was able to drink it without any issues. Because my drink was so small, I decided to order a second one. I went with the Ginger Snap Latte (with oat milk) and it was tasty! I didn't like it as much as the Cajeta Crème Brûlée, but it was really good. I was happy that it was served in a larger cup. The space had plants as well as merch like clothing, scented candles, soaps, and jewelry (which was beautiful). The bathrooms were very clean and had feminine hygiene products as well as a basket with bobby pins and hair ties. I love the attention to detail! We were there close to closing time (3 pm). I appreciated that one of the employees let us know that they would be closing without forcing us to get up and leave. It was on par with the gentle and calming vibe of the space.

It didn't exactly make me want to spend more money there. While sitting on the patio, I spotted the food truck outside and thought, "PERFECT. A food truck HAS to be cheaper. Take that Simona's!" I had to go back inside to Simona's and place my order with the delightful staff... I ended up ordering two Blue Migas tacos, and honestly, they were just... good, but nothing memorable. They tasted like your average breakfast tacos that you can find all over Austin for less. Despite loving how relaxing the outdoor patio is with its lucious greenery surrounding you and the beautiful French chairs and cafe tables, it's located right next to the hotel pool.
