    Mango matcha
    Ann L.

We stopped by here twice when we were in Austin to get our matcha fix. You can park in the lot behind the place although it does get crowded since it's shared. The inside is small and always packed with students coming in and out. The wait isn't too bad if you have time to spare. I tried the mango cloud matcha and banana cream matcha, two of my favorite matcha combo. Mango matcha was my fave over the two. Sweetness level was not too sweet. Portion was good. Price point was decent compared to what some places nowadays are charging. It became our fave spot that we ended up bringing our entire group here before we left Austin. However, it is not ideal for a big group hangout due to the limited space.

Amazing Vietnamese coffee spot on Austin ! They have so many different selection with strong and rich flavors. I really enjoy their egg coffee. The store concept is super cute there are seats if you would like to study here ! Service was very fast I appreciate that my drinks came out super quick

Love love love their matcha! For sure order ahead because this place gets busy. There were at least 10 people waiting for their orders when I arrived at pickup time. They were so busy behind the counter that I waited past my pickup time to ask about my order - which was ready! So don't wait to ask about your order if you order online. The line to order was at least 10 people deep and the place was so crowded! Tried the banana matcha and the Trio matcha and loved both. For sure worth a trip!

Overall, very wide variety of different matcha drink options. They use Shizuoka Kagoshima matcha. Ordered: - Banana Cream Matcha - I felt like it could use a bit more matcha and a bit more banana flavor. I don't know why I was thinking the milk was also going to contain banana or there was going to be banana syrup (soooo consumer error). Banana was only in the cream, the first sip I had I felt like a had a lot of banana but that might be because the banana was on the top of drink so my nose was overwhelmed but after I ate the banana I felt like I couldn't smell or taste the banana as much. They had a decent amount of seating inside and small tables, but it was a bit loud when we went so probably not a very good work/study coffee shop.

Got the latte einspanner and it was really good. Super unique flavor and definitely stands out compared to normal lattes. The only thing is there is a lot of that foamy cream on top, probably a bit too much, but still tasted great overall. The place is very clean and minimal, with a smaller amount of seating but still a nice vibe to sit and hang out for a bit. Fast service too.

High quality matcha. I love the creative drinks. Limited seating inside, but it's cute enough that you can sit for a couple hours. The place is always packed

Matchas were both very good. Ube coco was better than the other one we tried. The only thing I would recommend would be asking for extra sweetener bc their regular sweetness was not very sweet. They were very accommodating and gave us both some extra syrup and condensed milk when we asked, the little coco crisps on the top were a nice addition. They also allowed dogs inside which was a plus! Fast service and also one of the few places in Austin that has free parking so you can get there without having to drop 20 bucks on that alone. I would recommend! Place was also very clean and organized !

CàPhê.in features beautifully crafted coffee and tea drinks without any artificial flavoring. Syrups are made in-house. Both coffee and matcha drinks are great picks; I'm a big fan of the non milky options. It's a small, hip shop that does get pretty busy and packed (seems like a hotspot for UT students!), but everything is made efficiently and with great care. The cup sizes are pretty large, and some drinks can be adjusted for sweetness. There is plenty of parking in the garage behind the shop.

My favorite matcha to get in Austin. I usually get the double matcha and it's always creamy and not too sweet with a strong matcha flavor. This time I was craving a black sesame matcha (I just ordered matcha with black sesame top), the black sesame wasn't that strong but it was still delicious! Almost every drink has a pretty topper and makes it perfect for pictures. The workers are always on top of it, never takes a long time even when there's a long line. My group had around 10 drinks and we all got ours fairly quick.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and this place was pretty packed! I got their banana matcha and ube coffee. The matcha (in my opinion) fell a little short to me, I wish it was a richer flavor but I prefer my matcha strong. The coffee was really good and on the sweeter side but overall still amazing!

I live for banana flavored coffees and matchas so was excited to try their banana creme matcha. Their matcha was beautiful- came with banana creme and some caramelized banana on top. Super cute! Cute place with some seating to meet up with friends or do some work.

Cà Phê In * Stopped by Cà Phê In while in Austin and it was such a cute little spot Cozy, modern vibes and perfect for a chill coffee break. * We ordered the Coco Ube Matcha and Mango Matcha both super refreshing and creamy. The coco ube matcha was smooth and comforting, while the mango matcha was bright, lightly sweet, and perfect for a warm day * Such a solid café with fun drink options, great flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a spot we'd come back to whenever we're in Austin * #CaPheIn #AustinEats #ATXFoodie #AustinCoffee #VietnameseCoffee

It's actually pretty easy to spot this place once you're in the area. There's always a line formed outside the entrance! The line actually works its way through pretty fast. Most of the restaurant real estate is not used for sitting though, it's mostly people waiting around. Even with full house staff, it seems like they are always behind just because of the sheer volume of people coming through. So there's nothing really special about the interior. The last time we went, there were maybe 3 skinny tables? The reason I gave it a 3 is because of the prices of these pretty drinks. It's not coffee. It's just a drop of coffee with syrup and sugar, and customers are asked to spend $7 plus tip... If you actually want coffee, there are plenty of other options with places to sit down and have a great conversation with a friend or some alone time. But if you're willing to spend on a drink equivalent to a chipotle bowl and snap a picture and post it on Instagram , this is your spot

In addition, I do not have a Haraz Coffee House near me, so when I am near one of their locations, I make it a point to pop in. I love Haraz. I love the ambience. I love the coffee. My go-to is the Haraz Latte. Iced. While this could never be my every day coffee, it is something I really enjoy and treat myself to when I'm able to go to a Haraz. As someone who doesn't proclaim to like cheesecake, their Biscoff cheesecake is the exception. Maybe it's a blessing that one isn't close by and I can only indulge every now and then. If you want a break from your regular coffee, give Haraz a shot. Especially when the summer heat kicks in - the iced coffee + cardamom is pretty great. While exploring the many museums across the University of Texas campus, a quick caffeine break was needed for my girlfriend and we were overwhelmed by the number of options on The Drag. It makes sense that there are plenty of places to choose from because of the large number of UT students. Everyone needs a little coffee in their lives. One of the highest reviewed ones with a large pool of ratings was Lucky Lab Coffee and after checking a few quick reviews, we decided to give it a chance. Lucky Lab has five locations in Austin (four on campus) and one location in Dripping Springs. The one we were at off The Drag was their flagship. This location serves a little bit of everything from sandwiches to pastries, salad to quiche, and of course, coffee. As we walked inside the flagship, it is easy to notice how tight the space is. There is very little seating inside at their bar, but they make up for it with plenty of shaded outdoor space that is perfect for a nice day. Scanning their menu, we landed on some drinks from their winter menu. I was intrigued by their Pomegranate Rosemary Latte while my girlfriend tried their Ginger Spice Mocha. We got them both iced. First, it is interesting to see the fusion of pomegranate and rosemary in a latte. I was intrigued by those flavors. Their drink sizes are 12 oz, 16 oz, and 20 oz, each adding an additional 50 cents to each upgrade. All milk alternatives cost 1 dollar. It was only a short wait to get our coffees and the cup with the little lab on it was cute. I think specialty drinks have an opportunity to be amazing and one of a kind or the worst drink imaginable. This pomegranate rosemary latte did not fall into either category exactly, but leaned more toward the latter. I love pomegranates and I always appreciate how earthy rosemary can be in a coffee. One of my favorite lattes I have ever had has rosemary in it. This was just not working for me. I shamefully did not finish my coffee. As for my girlfriend, she did not like her ginger spice mocha. I could not imagine gingerbread syrup not working in a mocha, but after trying it myself it was not for me either. It seems like a perfect match, but here the gingerbread is competing with the chocolate and instead of complementing each other they clash. She told me that the flavors were "un-mocha like". She drank less than half of her coffee before tossing it as well. Neither of us wanted to dislike Lucky Lab. They seem well established and I felt like they were trustworthy based on reviews, but I wonder what these previous reviewers were tweaking on or what magical concoction of coffee granted from heaven above they were sipping on because we were distraught by how disappointing these drinks were. I would like to give Lucky Lab Coffee Co the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe the specialty drinks were not up to par with their traditional beverages. However, the almost 30 different syrup options on their wall make me feel they lack a little focus and try too hard to stand out. They lose what makes a coffee good, which is coffee. I want to say I will give them a second shot in the future to see if it was just an off day or a bad beverage pick. Too many shots turns a Lucky Lab into Old Yeller. The lab needs to be put on a leash before I think about returning. RIYL: options

I was a little confused when I drove up because I didn't realize that it's inside the Retreat Yoga Studio. There is a neon sign on the window as well as an A-Frame Sign near the entrance to let you know you're in the right place. Parking is plentiful in the shopping center. Because it's in a Yoga Studio, there isn't much seating (though they did have tables set up outside). The vibe was relaxing and calm. I don't know what scent they had in there, but it smelled nice. This wouldn't be a place to study or work as the seating is limited and I didn't see many outlets. There was a small area with bar stools if you need a tabletop, but most of the seating was couches and lounge chairs. It's more of a place to relax or catch up with a friend. I love when coffee shops have signature drinks. I ordered the Cajeta Crème Brûlée Cappuccino. It was so good, but it came in a small cup. The smoky sea salt was delicious! I don't typically care for sea salt in beverages, but it complimented the flavors so well! I asked the barista to sub oat milk which they were able to do but he informed me that some of the ingredients had dairy (which was fine). I appreciated the disclosure. I was able to drink it without any issues. Because my drink was so small, I decided to order a second one. I went with the Ginger Snap Latte (with oat milk) and it was tasty! I didn't like it as much as the Cajeta Crème Brûlée, but it was really good. I was happy that it was served in a larger cup. The space had plants as well as merch like clothing, scented candles, soaps, and jewelry (which was beautiful). The bathrooms were very clean and had feminine hygiene products as well as a basket with bobby pins and hair ties. I love the attention to detail! We were there close to closing time (3 pm). I appreciated that one of the employees let us know that they would be closing without forcing us to get up and leave. It was on par with the gentle and calming vibe of the space.
