This place is great has ample space probably a few different major group groups could meet there. There's also food trucks on the gravel side and I believe they had coffee with plenty of frozen cocktails as well. The ambiance is really fun and unique, especially with the little water pond that adds a relaxed, outdoorsy vibe. There's a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating, so it works for different moods and weather. The drink menu is huge, with coffee, tea, and both alcoholic and non alcoholic options, so it's an easy pick no matter what you're in the mood for. I also like that there are food trucks right outside, which makes grabbing a bite super convenient. Plus, the large parking lot is a nice bonus. 10/10 for Cosmic Pickle! We always go to Cosmic Saltillo, but after my friend really hyped this location up, I decided to visit this one instead. Wow, so great! They have an easy parking lot and nearby street parking. Once at the business you can choose from 3 food trucks outside (vs just the in-house Cosmic restaurant at Saltillo), and they have the same drinks (bar and coffee bar) on the inside. Tons of outdoor seating and a variety of picnic tables, vintage chairs, bar stools, etc. I have been here a few times now and love to get a custom bowl from WOW Poke. I also am a huge fan of their pineapple flip flop (sometimes called matcha something frozen) and adding rum to it. The perfect refreshing summer time drink! They have self serve water inside and enough bathrooms for how busy this place gets. Great service at the bar each time. This is one of my fav spots in Austin! read more

I love Cosmic Pickle! It's been about 4 years since I've been back, but I decided to enjoy my day reading and spending time in the beautiful cloudy/sunny day. I tried a mocktail the bartender recommended. I enjoyed them both! Seating is plentiful and the music is SO GOOD! Great place to catch a vibe, study, first date or just relax as I did. I came here for a coffee and was so surprised at how awesome this spot is. It took everything for me to not order a drink for the creative and super expansive bar menu. Despite it being a bar it still has the coffee shop esthetic and vibe and everyone who works there is super friends ready to make a recommendation if you need one. Quick PSA for fellow mosquito magnets: bring spray. I got three bites in 15 minutes, and with the big indoor/outdoor door open, hiding inside probably wouldn't have helped. Good vibes, good drinks, and good food. Got the beef nachos and the portion size was great, I loved the sharing size and it was perfect for our party. Great beer selection and good coffee! Bartender was very helpful when I asked beer questions and for a recommendation. They have a few food trucks on the premises which allows a good variety of options. There are live chickens (in a cage) right on the yard, which I found really cute. Overall landscaping is pretty nice with a little pond and plants sound the perimeter. I would like to come back in an early evening to actually enjoy the outside without excruciating heat. I've tried both their beer and cocktails 3-4 times but never really liked them. The staffs are friendly. I still enjoy going there because of the atmosphere, food and obv coffee. Inside, they serve coffee and cocktails, while the surrounding food trucks offer great bites. Lately, I've been hooked on their Orgeat Matcha Latte--perfectly sweet and already made with oat milk. The space has everything: chickens, smoking and non-smoking outdoor areas, fans, umbrellas, fire pits and plenty of seating. The only downsides? Tiny restrooms (just two stalls in the women's) and unsupervised kids running around. I love cosmic. It's one of my favorite places and I know it was busy, but this employee was reluctant to resolve a very simple issue. On May 2nd, she was working near the barista stand and insisted that she was not able to refund my drink in an unfriendly manner. I was trying to be as friendly as possible, but she was dismissive and told me to go through toast. However, toast told me to go through cosmic, and unfortunately I never was able to reach the establishment due to the phone being "busy". I know she was dealing with a crowd of other people, but I don't appreciate how she did not try to resolve the issue or find someone who could, because I ended up paying for a drink I never received due to the fact I was leaving. The bartender/barista with the long dark hair in a pony tail did not help as much as I was hoping she could. I feel bad writing this review given that I also work in the service industry, but I am really upset that I was not be able to be helped with a relatively simple task. Like I said, I have worked in the service industry and know how toast works. I don't know why she wasn't able to at least get a manager. I'm apprehensive to come back because now I don't know how I'll be getting my refund. I really hope this is fixed in the future. read more

Bright and relaxing Sunday morning spent at Cosmic this weekend. Vast options for coffee and nonalcoholic drinks as well as an extensive beer and cocktail menu clearly expressed on screens behind the counters. They definitely emulate what Austins feel is, which can't be said about most places anymore. If you have visiting friends and family this is one of the places I recommend most. We ordered an iced coffee, an Americano, and a Forever Crush (vodka cocktail with strawberry, lime, and mint). Everything tasted amazing, but unfortunately the compost cups do not do well with their hot coffees and started to dissolve quickly after we got the drink. Lots and lots of outdoor picnic seating. They have misters attached to their outdoor lights that go off every once and awhile to help you with the heat which is wonderful. They are super dog friendly, even have bowls and a water station outside for you to get your pup all set. We like to sit by the mini waterfall. They offer a few pastries by the coffee counter, but there is also 2 food trucks here and open later on in the day. They have clean bathrooms inside and WiFi so you could spend time here to work on things easily. read more

Always a great time at Cosmic! We came on a Friday night around 6:30 PM. We were pleasantly surprised to have found parking because usually this place is poppin. The person at the front of the space who checked our IDs before letting us in (don't forget your ID) told us they were enforcing a timeframe where people under a certain age weren't allowed in the space after ___ PM. Believe it made a big difference! Wasn't as busy as it usually was in years past. It's a great outdoor space, plenty of seating options, music playing, tree coverage throughout for those hotter months. It's also super dog-friendly!! Took our pup with no issues whatsoever. They also have great food options that run most of the night. This time around I ordered the "Mangonada Margarita": contains Tequila AND Sotol w/ Ripe Mango, Key Lime and Tamarind Chamoy. I've had my share of mangonadas, and this one was okay, nothing too amazing. Definitely on the boozier side than it was sweet. This rating is more for the atmosphere and good vibes!!! I had to ask for a reimbursement on my receipt since they charged me double for two drinks since they accidentally put the wrong drink on it and they had no problem with taking responsibility and refunding the difference.
