I first heard about Noble Joe Coffee on social media and decided to stop by their Riverside location. I like that they empower small businesses and entrepranuers by supporting new nonprofit organization each month and use ingredients from local Austin businesses to support the community. They have a food truck located in the AMLI South Shore Apartments that looks like a trolly. There are lots of picnic type seating. Parking was a bit of a challenge by they have a parking garage within walking distance. Service was friendly and quick, which always makes a difference. I decided to try the Blackberry Crumble matcha seasonal drink. The drink was very refreshing with a nice balance of sweetness and tartness from the blackberry. You still get the "crumble" flavor layered in, which made it feel unique and a little indulgent without being too heavy. Overall, a solid spot with creative seasonal options. I can't wait to try some of their other seasonal flavors. They deliver on their mission of making quality coffee while providing the best experience. read more

I guess I'm in a minority here, but my latte just wasn't good. You know that great coffee smell you get when you walk into a roastery? Well, that's exactly what my latte DIDN'T have. It was sweetish and it was bitterish, but it didn't have much discernable coffee flavor. Moreover, I couldn't taste the added maple flavoring that I had ordered. The prices were pleasantly low, but I guess you get what you pay for. I'd like to say they have a lot of choices. They do have all the standard coffee drinks, they do have a lot of house specials and seasonal specials, and they do have a lot of flavorings. However, I wanted a hot 16 oz. latte, and they don't have that. I had to settle for a 12 oz. instead. And I would have liked to have 1 or 2% milk, but they don't have that, either. So basically, they have a lot of choices, but they aren't the choices that I need and want. Anyway, staff was friendly. read more

Being honest - I went into scared since I heard negative things about their coffee. I ended up getting the Banana Nut Matcha with oat milk and it was delicious! A little bit grainy at the bottom but honestly one of my favorite matchas I've had recently. I went at 8am and they weren't packed at all. Great cup of Joe, just what I needed after a long flight. I got the shot in the dark with lavender. Great location in a food truck park with lots of seating. Service was fairly quick and they stayed pretty consistent. My friend got the chai one and that was also pretty delicious. read more

I quite liked noble Joe :) it's a little out of the way which is certainly going to keep me from going frequently but I wanted to try their lavender oat milk latte and it did not disappoint! It had pretty notable lavender flavor but wasn't overpowering and the coffee was good quality. The wait time was short too, they have at least 2 if not 3 folks working most of the time it seems. It's inside a little area off the freeway around stassney lane with some other food trucks so you can get food there too. Overall liked this place! I got the noble joe coffee and i really enjoyed it. I also got it 3/4 sweet. The drink was perfectly balanced with the bitterness from coffee and the sweetener from agave which i enjoyed. the outside was really cute also overlooking people playing racquetball and a strip down the street with breweries. Good location and easy parking. The service was great too as she was helpful with recommendations ! would definitely come back to try other specialty drinks. read more

I've been wanting to stop by Noble Joe's for a while because it's so close to my office, and finally got the chance. I picked up coffee for a few of my colleagues and myself. Two drip coffees, a SF vanilla latte and for myself, picked the honey lavender latte. One of my colleagues who got the drip coffee raved about the taste and I loved my latte! Service was quick, there was no wait. Quite chilly this morning, so I was thankful to not have to stand outside for too long! The only thing I'd suggest is offering stoppers for the cups... my commute to the office after picking up the coffee wasn't long/far, but some coffee spilled -- having stoppers or lid plugs would have been helpful but it won't keep me from coming back especially to support a 'noble' mission. read more

I love this coffee so much! I visited their new location at St. Elmo Arts District because a run club I joined met there. They even offered us 50% off our drinks after the run. I am familiar with Noble Joe since I have been to their other location. The toasted vanilla oat latte (half sweet) is my favorite that I've tried so far. The lavender one is great too. Very friendly employees and creative menu. This is one of my fav coffees in Austin so far! Check out this cool new location next to the padel club. Great local biz! read more

I first saw Noble Joe Coffee when I went to Tejas Birria but it was too hot that day. On my way too work on Friday I decided to stop by and it was the best decision that I had. My first visit I got a Cortado and since I had one before at a different coffee shop I thought I would like it. Sadly I didn't but I think that had to do with me substituting with almond milk not knowing it was unsweetened. I got it with brown sugar but I think it was liquid flavor and syrup flavor. But that didn't stop me from coming back today. This time I got a s'mores latte and substituted with oat milk and you will not be disappointed. I feel like you can't go wrong with lattes and it was the best. The barista even slightly remembered my name, but since it isn't a common name I was fine with. I like the school bus feel of it and thought it was so cute. Since I go in the morning before work but after school drop offs there is rarely a line. The barista is pretty fast with the drinks and I saw there was a Honey Lavender Oat Latte that I will probably try on my way to work tomorrow. I'm glad I was able to pop in and get a drink. I even recommended Noble Joe to a couple of my coworkers and hopefully they are able to stop by as well. read more

My barber around the corner at Fades Barbershop referred me here . The perfect location to either sit down and enjoy or a quick pick up and go. They also have a delicious food truck next to them, so there are options to eat while drinking coffee. The service was friendly and efficient, and the coffee was delicious. They also have mushroom coffee options which I've never seen at a coffee shop and for that they scored much more brownie points! I got the hot toasted vanilla oat, delicious! read more

I never leave reviews but came here yesterday while I was visiting my sister in town. I got one of the seasonal drinks and asked for it with cold brew instead of espresso which was really delicious. There's ample seating by the truck which is probably nice for part of the year, but we were suffering on a hot summer day. I would highly recommend this spot - but keep in mind the weather as it's all outdoor and outdoor seating only.

Sammie's has been hyped up on social media for a long time and I gotta say it's still underrated! I will gladly have Sammie's take the Pepsi challenge against red sauce joints in NYC/NJ etc. In fact, I've told friends and family that I am going to take them to Sammie's when they visit from there. We just had such a fantastic experience - everything..the vibe..the red light fixtures and the color of the booths and the floor..the service - our server was great..loved their outfits..really had an old school little italy feel to it. The food was much better than I even anticipated - as a guy who grew up on NJ diner mozzarella sticks, I have a high bar for them and these were magnificent. And seriously...taking the "everything's bigger in Texas" slogan and applying them to mozzarella sticks?! top 10 achievements of the decade. The chicken parm was perfect - well seasoned, proper amount of crisp..the basil on top...the perfect browning of the cheese. Also the lasanga was excellent..and best part - the leftovers..took it home and the next two days put them in a small cast iron and re-heated them..and the magic was right there in my hill country kitchen! Lastly and certainly not least - the cannoli...just look at the photo below.. I'll say, yes, the place is pricey but you can really easily split these entrees and then it becomes cheaper than a jersey strip center Italian joint. Our server was friendly, attentive and checked in regularly throughout the meal. She even brought us a complimentary crab pastry to try, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated.
