10/10 for Cosmic Pickle! We always go to Cosmic Saltillo, but after my friend really hyped this location up, I decided to visit this one instead. Wow, so great! They have an easy parking lot and nearby street parking. Once at the business you can choose from 3 food trucks outside (vs just the in-house Cosmic restaurant at Saltillo), and they have the same drinks (bar and coffee bar) on the inside. Tons of outdoor seating and a variety of picnic tables, vintage chairs, bar stools, etc. I have been here a few times now and love to get a custom bowl from WOW Poke. I also am a huge fan of their pineapple flip flop (sometimes called matcha something frozen) and adding rum to it. The perfect refreshing summer time drink! They have self serve water inside and enough bathrooms for how busy this place gets. Great service at the bar each time. This is one of my fav spots in Austin!

Such a cute place inside and out! Customer service is amazing as well! My husband and I ordered 2 coffees, i didnt like mine and Tessa was so kind to change our coffee for us without us even asking!! Highly recommend the miso butterscotch latte!

I love Cosmic Pickle! It's been about 4 years since I've been back, but I decided to enjoy my day reading and spending time in the beautiful cloudy/sunny day. I tried a mocktail the bartender recommended. I enjoyed them both! Seating is plentiful and the music is SO GOOD! Great place to catch a vibe, study, first date or just relax as I did. The menu has expanded and I'm glad to see there's no more paper cups. I'll definitely make a visit more often.

I came here for a coffee and was so surprised at how awesome this spot is. It took everything for me to not order a drink for the creative and super expansive bar menu. Despite it being a bar it still has the coffee shop esthetic and vibe and everyone who works there is super friends ready to make a recommendation if you need one. It goes without saying they got enough seats for the whole squad whether indoor or outdoor it's a vibe. With all the food truck options, there's something for everyone. This is def a spot I'll frequent.

I've stopped by Cosmic Pickle for daytime coffee before, but my evening visit totally won me over. The new sit-down bar setup and all the drinks on tap make the place feel extra inviting. I grabbed the melon cucumber Fresca with tequila. It was light, refreshing, and perfect for the weather. The fall decor made the outdoor space super cozy, and the food trucks are a nice bonus. Quick PSA for fellow mosquito magnets: bring spray. I got three bites in 15 minutes, and with the big indoor/outdoor door open, hiding inside probably wouldn't have helped. Since it was a busy Friday, parking was tight! Andrew behind the bar made the whole visit. He walked us through the menu, gave great recs, and was genuinely kind. Such a great spot, whether you're feeling like coffee or cocktails!

One of the first cosmics in town. This is a popular location and even midweek it will be busy with limited parking as it's shared with the fitness facilities nearby. The outdoor area is expensive with food trucks, picnic tables, and fire pits with 70s style patio chairs. They card on weekends to make sure over 21s can order adult beverages. During the week about 80% of the people are WFH. Does anyone really work in Austin?

Parking - yes, shared. Usually a bit packed though. Food - yes but the food trucks here weren't too great and we got food poisoning once from here Drinks - great! Coffees, specialty drinks, and they have alcoholic options too. Staff - friendly and organized View/space - love the SPACE. There's an outdoor garden, a waterfall, umbrellas, mix of picnic tables and chairs/pits, shaded areas, chicken coop, dog friendly.

Great beer and coffee selection. The coffee is all premixed so it's nice and fast still with flavor. There is a small pond with turtles and a chicken coop to stare at outside which is always fun

Great beer selection and good coffee! Bartender was very helpful when I asked beer questions and for a recommendation. They have a few food trucks on the premises which allows a good variety of options. There are live chickens (in a cage) right on the yard, which I found really cute. Overall landscaping is pretty nice with a little pond and plants sound the perimeter. I would like to come back in an early evening to actually enjoy the outside without excruciating heat. It was busy around 11 AM on Saturday but then died down a little after noon. Plenty of seating inside and outside. As far as I know they're a lot busier in the evenings.

This is a popular food truck park at SoCo (South Congress Ave) in Austin. The indoor cafe and bar specialize in frozen coffee and tea drinks, including alcoholic versions, as well as a lineup of local draft beers--not to mention, cocktails, cider, and wine. I enjoyed Cosmic Echoes, a juicy and hazy IPA exclusively from Meanwhile Brewing. Service was friendly and attentive. Food trucks include Pueblo Viejo, Biggie's Yardbird, and Wow Poke. There is a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options in this spacious venue. There is an abundance of grackles, keeping an eye on your every move. The resident orange cat comes by to greet you, hoping you'll have some fish, chicken, or other meat to share.

Cosmic Pickle is a great spot to check out. My wife and I went when they had a band playing live music. There's a ton of food trucks there as well. The drink options are solid and I liked the outdoor patio.

Great place to bring your dog, your laptop, your friends, or just yourself to hang and have some drinks. They offer many booze and booze-free options, so it's safe to say there is something for everyone. As for the food, they have trucks setup and from what I could tell it looks amazing. I tried their poke and it was really fresh. Their smash burger is good too!

This place is so cool and has the nicest staff. They have a variety of house made syrups and I settled on a coconut one that was sweet and delicious. Would definitely visit again!

But I tried my 3rd package of Little City coffee, (shipped from this address on their website) and though good coffee, it is simply not a dark enough roast for my espresso. I tried Messenger Espresso the first time, many months ago and was underwhelmed. The beans were just not dark enough, shiny enough nor oily enough for the sort of espresso shot I like to pull. They made perfectly passable drip coffee in a pour-over, but I am a 99% espresso guy. Recently I took advantage of a 20% discount and rapid delivery (next day! Arrived on Monday, ordered Sunday!) to try the two darkest roasts offered, Grackle and Republic. Again, passable drip coffees, but not able to produce the thick rich crema and distinctive oily mouthfeel and toasted flavor notes I was looking for. Great fast to the door delivery and good prices (though for a 12oz package, compare carefully) and as I noted, pretty good coffee, but I will return to the Italian espresso (occasionally mixed 75/25 with French Roast) from my usual roaster Anderson's to feed my Gaggia Classic Pro.

Don't let the location fool you, when you walk into this warehouse looking shop, inside has some of the FINEST coffee you can buy. I usually only go to coffee shops to work, but today, went on a coffee date with my dog instead. There's ground floor parking in the garage that's complimentary for two hours. I kept it simple with a vanilla latte. I noticed they had tacos at the bottom of the food menu, but at $13.25 for two tacos + an a la carte item, I decided to pass. Maybe my expectations were too high (as usual) because it's inside a hotel, but I was hoping for the kind of warm hospitality hotels are known for, but instead, the service felt a bit cold. It didn't exactly make me want to spend more money there. While sitting on the patio, I spotted the food truck outside and thought, "PERFECT. A food truck HAS to be cheaper. Take that Simona's!" I walked up to the window... only to find out it wasn't actually a separate food truck. It was just the pickup window. To order? I had to go back inside to Simona's and place my order with the delightful staff... I ended up ordering two Blue Migas tacos, and honestly, they were just... good, but nothing memorable. They tasted like your average breakfast tacos that you can find all over Austin for less. Despite loving how relaxing the outdoor patio is with its lucious greenery surrounding you and the beautiful French chairs and cafe tables, it's located right next to the hotel pool. If you're visiting on a summer afternoon, expect some extra noise with pool guests. If you're looking for a quiet coffee or a place to work, I'd recommend coming early in the morning instead.

I ordered a hot latte with hazelnut and initially, a cinnamon roll and raspberry apricot kolache. The latte was flavorful, warm and enjoyable to drink. Based on my server's recommendation, the cinnamon roll was the most popular item. In fact, he said that folks come to Austin just to try this cinnamon roll. He did forewarn me that it was a little salty and he was absolutely correct. The icing felt oily and lacked true cinnamon roll flavor. So, I traded that cinnamon roll in for a Dubai chocolate croissant (paid the difference in price). While the croissant tasted better than the cinnamon roll, the layers were tough and a bit spongy to eat. The kolache's flavor was good and I like the combination of fruit flavors. With that said, the bread was hard...unlike German kolaches. Prices are on the high end of price spectrum. The bakery has both indoor and outdoor seating. The teal color emits a Zen feel.
