I love Cosmic Pickle! It's been about 4 years since I've been back, but I decided to enjoy my day reading and spending time in the beautiful cloudy/sunny day. I tried a mocktail the bartender recommended. I enjoyed them both! Seating is plentiful and the music is SO GOOD! Great place to catch a vibe, study, first date or just relax as I did. The menu has expanded and I'm glad to see there's no more paper cups. I'll definitely make a visit more often.

I came here for a coffee and was so surprised at how awesome this spot is. It took everything for me to not order a drink for the creative and super expansive bar menu. Despite it being a bar it still has the coffee shop esthetic and vibe and everyone who works there is super friends ready to make a recommendation if you need one. It goes without saying they got enough seats for the whole squad whether indoor or outdoor it's a vibe. With all the food truck options, there's something for everyone. This is def a spot I'll frequent.

I've stopped by Cosmic Pickle for daytime coffee before, but my evening visit totally won me over. The new sit-down bar setup and all the drinks on tap make the place feel extra inviting. I grabbed the melon cucumber Fresca with tequila. It was light, refreshing, and perfect for the weather. The fall decor made the outdoor space super cozy, and the food trucks are a nice bonus. Quick PSA for fellow mosquito magnets: bring spray. I got three bites in 15 minutes, and with the big indoor/outdoor door open, hiding inside probably wouldn't have helped. Since it was a busy Friday, parking was tight! Andrew behind the bar made the whole visit. He walked us through the menu, gave great recs, and was genuinely kind. Such a great spot, whether you're feeling like coffee or cocktails!

One of the first cosmics in town. This is a popular location and even midweek it will be busy with limited parking as it's shared with the fitness facilities nearby. The outdoor area is expensive with food trucks, picnic tables, and fire pits with 70s style patio chairs. They card on weekends to make sure over 21s can order adult beverages. During the week about 80% of the people are WFH. Does anyone really work in Austin?

Parking - yes, shared. Usually a bit packed though. Food - yes but the food trucks here weren't too great and we got food poisoning once from here Drinks - great! Coffees, specialty drinks, and they have alcoholic options too. Staff - friendly and organized View/space - love the SPACE. There's an outdoor garden, a waterfall, umbrellas, mix of picnic tables and chairs/pits, shaded areas, chicken coop, dog friendly.

Great beer and coffee selection. The coffee is all premixed so it's nice and fast still with flavor. There is a small pond with turtles and a chicken coop to stare at outside which is always fun

Great beer selection and good coffee! Bartender was very helpful when I asked beer questions and for a recommendation. They have a few food trucks on the premises which allows a good variety of options. There are live chickens (in a cage) right on the yard, which I found really cute. Overall landscaping is pretty nice with a little pond and plants sound the perimeter. I would like to come back in an early evening to actually enjoy the outside without excruciating heat. It was busy around 11 AM on Saturday but then died down a little after noon. Plenty of seating inside and outside. As far as I know they're a lot busier in the evenings.

Cosmic Pickle is a great spot to check out. My wife and I went when they had a band playing live music. There's a ton of food trucks there as well. The drink options are solid and I liked the outdoor patio.

Great place to bring your dog, your laptop, your friends, or just yourself to hang and have some drinks. They offer many booze and booze-free options, so it's safe to say there is something for everyone. As for the food, they have trucks setup and from what I could tell it looks amazing. I tried their poke and it was really fresh. Their smash burger is good too!

This place is so cool and has the nicest staff. They have a variety of house made syrups and I settled on a coconut one that was sweet and delicious. Would definitely visit again!

This place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It's mostly an outdoor space, with only a few indoor tables. I really like their coffee and the foods from the food trucks. However, I'm not a huge fan of their cocktails or even their beer. The beer tastes a bit off maybe it's something about their tap, I'm not sure. I've tried both their beer and cocktails 3-4 times but never really liked them. The staffs are friendly. I still enjoy going there because of the atmosphere, food and obv coffee. Even in the summer, they have cool misters, making it comfortable to visit in the late afternoon and evening.

Though Cosmic has expanded to Saltillo, the original on Pickle is still my favorite--I will gladly fight with Crux rock climbers for parking! Inside, they serve coffee and cocktails, while the surrounding food trucks offer great bites. Lately, I've been hooked on their Orgeat Matcha Latte--perfectly sweet and already made with oat milk. The space has everything: chickens, smoking and non-smoking outdoor areas, fans, umbrellas, fire pits and plenty of seating. The only downsides? Tiny restrooms (just two stalls in the women's) and unsupervised kids running around. Cosmic is super pet-friendly, and I'd hate for a child to get too close to a pup--hopefully, parents step up or a policy is enforced.

Not my favorite latte. I had the cosmic comet. The Mexican vanilla was too strong. The drink taste like a desert drink. Super floral and sweet. This is a cafe by day and a bar by night.

But I tried my 3rd package of Little City coffee, (shipped from this address on their website) and though good coffee, it is simply not a dark enough roast for my espresso. I tried Messenger Espresso the first time, many months ago and was underwhelmed. The beans were just not dark enough, shiny enough nor oily enough for the sort of espresso shot I like to pull. They made perfectly passable drip coffee in a pour-over, but I am a 99% espresso guy. Recently I took advantage of a 20% discount and rapid delivery (next day! Arrived on Monday, ordered Sunday!) to try the two darkest roasts offered, Grackle and Republic. Again, passable drip coffees, but not able to produce the thick rich crema and distinctive oily mouthfeel and toasted flavor notes I was looking for. Great fast to the door delivery and good prices (though for a 12oz package, compare carefully) and as I noted, pretty good coffee, but I will return to the Italian espresso (occasionally mixed 75/25 with French Roast) from my usual roaster Anderson's to feed my Gaggia Classic Pro.

Don't let the location fool you, when you walk into this warehouse looking shop, inside has some of the FINEST coffee you can buy. Joel's good buddies with all the best plantations and Brazil and prides himself on having first choice on all the BEST harvested coffees from these plantations. They roast upon order so you definitely get the beans at it's freshest. The bags they come in are all hand-painted too. We've been trying different coffee shops whenever we pass through Austin for doctor visits, and we got to Teal House just a few minutes before they closed at 2 PM. Usually, when you walk into a place that close to closing, you can tell everyone is ready to wrap up and get out of there. That was not the case here at all. The second I walked in, Sabrina greeted me so kindly, with a smile on her face, and made me feel completely welcome. She was warm, accommodating, and never made me feel rushed or like I was a nuisance, even though I came in right before closing. That alone would have been enough to make a great impression, but the coffee was absolutely delicious too. We also tried the cinnamon roll and chocolate croissant, and both were so good. The inside is inviting, the pastries and coffee are worth stopping for, and the staff made the whole experience feel genuinely welcoming. I can't recommend Teal House Coffee enough, and if management reads these reviews, Sabrina made what had been a long, stressful day feel a little lighter just by being kind, which, after two decades in the restaurant industry, I can honestly say is rare to find in someone so naturally attentive and welcoming, give her a raise.

On the positive side, service was quick and friendly, the place was clean, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant.
