Outstanding decor, service, drinks and food. They've got the whole package! Bougie cafe in a boutique hotel with authentic Mexican food from a parked food truck. Loved my migas and barbacoa tacos. The red salsa is divine. Husband's eggs, bacon and french toast were beautiful. Great spot!

One of the few places in Austin that has maintained quality over the years and remains my go-to coffee shop to meet up with people or just read a book. The service is quick and friendly, there are bakery items including an option or two for gluten-free folks like me, and now even a food truck with freshly prepared tacos! The furniture is comfortable, the noise level allows proper conversation, and the patio is beautiful.

Randomly found this spot on the maps! Simona Coffee and Cocktails is such a charming spot! It has the perfect blend of cute and cozy, making it ideal for working or studying. The upstairs area has a modern library vibe, complete with comfortable seating that encourages you to focus. We tried the Tom's Diner latte and the From Eden cocktail, and both were fantastic. The cocktail was refreshing, a perfect balance of flavors. But let's talk about that latte--if you're a fig lover, Tom's Diner will blow your mind. I've never had a latte like it before; it's so unique, rich, and full of flavor that I'm still thinking about it. Truly one-of-a-kind!

Great place to co-work with friends or on your own. Simona's is located behind the Colton House hotel. There is free parking in the garage with your purchase. Just let the cashier know you need parking validation! The space is filled with modern, clean furniture. Absolutely beautiful. High and low tops downstairs, and couches and high tops upstairs. There's also a ton of seating in the backyard outside. Tacos are great, and love that you can get both coffee, teas and cocktails. I get alot of work and meetings done here! Highly recommend in the South Austin area.

Simona's is a beautiful coffee shop venue. Plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor), great natural lighting, and a well-designed ambiance. I got an iced salted caramel latter and it was solid. What really puts this place over the top though is the FOUR HOUR VALIDATED PARKING. Four hours is the longest validation time I have experienced YET. Coffee or restaurant. I also love that this place is not an headache to reach. It's located in the Colton House Hotel, but you don't have to enter the hotel to get to the shop. You can enter Simona's directly from the parking garage. They also have good signage to make it easy to find.

Super cute spot inside the hotel! Stopped in at Simona's and loved it. The vibe is stylish and fun -- part coffee shop, part cocktail bar. Had a couple of their signature drinks and they were fabulous. Bartender was excellent, and the outdoor patio is a great bonus. Coffee was solid too -- perfect to take on the road. Best of all...easy parking. Definitely worth a visit!

Really great atmosphere. Very high end furniture and classical style decor. This is within a hotel. I enjoy the patio late at night. Coffee would be $1 price higher than most coffee places but not crazy. Pretty comparable beverages to most places. Cocktails are pretty good too. You will get 4hr long parking validation to part within the paid parking spaces

The ambience is great is next to the hotels pool, great indoor spaces to work but also outside covered tables, they have a big variety of cocktails, coffee and some pastry's , last time I was there they had Taquicardia food truck with amazing tacos on a Saturday and even a DJ

I've been to Simona's a few times, and I've always been happy with the experience! Parking lot is a little weird and small, but the bar validates parking up to 4 hours, which makes up for it. The menu itself is not extensive, but it has some classics and some delicious cocktails. Coffee, as well! Service is quick and the bartenders are friendly and always happy to give you a personal recommendation when stuck between a few options. The vibes are immaculate, as well. The decor and design inside is perfection. If you are ever in the area, I recommend checking it out!

Delicious breakfast tacos. Phenomenal flavor. Robust portions. Lovely experience.

Where should coffee shop patrons park? The garage says hotel guests only.

Parking for Simona's guests is in the hotel parking garage at the end of the driveway. With Simona's purchase 4 hours of parking is validated.

We waited maybe 15 minutes at the walk-in line as others progressively started to pile on behind us. Then again, even people in the reservation line were waiting. This is definitely the kind of place that wants you to wait. The kind of place that wants to build a line outdoors to intrigue onlookers. We were treated nicely, but we definitely could have gotten in right away. By the time we walked in, the place was probably at 60% capacity. It was standing room only at the bar, but not overcrowded by any means. There is a dress code, but it's not entirely clear what it is. Some guy dressed to the 9s got turned away for not having sleeves whereas I got in with sneakers and a t-shirt. They ask for your cellphones upon entering and give you a key in exchange, but there doesn't seem to be any security to enforce it if you don't want to give them up. I have no problem with their policy, but I bet a lot of customers do. Interestingly, their little social experiment seemed to have a positive effect, where we ended up talking to strangers and vice versa. The Powder Room may be making America social again.

There's enough of a vibe for this place to feel lively even when it's mostly empty, yet it also avoids the earsplitting noise that may come with a more crowded venue. The bartenders are amicable, and the menu showcases some creative - and creatively named - cocktails. Lara went with a Moon Song (rum, blackberry, lime, and honey with lavender cold foam) and an espresso martini and enjoyed both. I opted for a zero proof drink: the high and mighty (agave, nonalcoholic ginger and floral liqueurs, jasmine tea, and spiced salt). It was refreshing but didn't quite hit the mark for me. What should have been complex and balanced came across as overly floral. All told, Marlow is worth a visit even if it is unlikely to wow you.

The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. I was at the bar talking to a girl while waiting to get a drink (the wait was long because the service is very slow, despite the bar not being very busy at all). She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.
