One of my favorite matcha places in Austin. The mango sticky rice is my fave. The baristas are always nice and I like the location. I usually get my matcha and walk around Trader Joe's after.
A little confusing because from the coffee cup I had I thought this place was called mattina coffee, but I loved this spot! There's a lot of outdoor seating and it's nice that it's located so close to lady bird lake so that you can walk around. I ordered a cortado, and it was perfect. Great beans, perfect amount of strength. Would definitely revisit!
Such a cute cafe to grab a coffee, sweet treat and hang out. I'm so happy it's still there since the hotel closed down. Everything we got from Manana was great, will definitely come again
My first time trying Manana in South Congress, the interior was beautiful. I got the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte, it came out to about $9+ with just whole milk, quite expensive! The drink overall was decent, I couldn't really taste the matcha, the mango puree, nor the sticky rice. I like the coconut taste even though it was very subtle. You could only taste a hint of everything described, and overall the drink was pretty bland. I love the decorations and the space inside though, it was so clean and aesthetics. They also have tables for you to work and chill as well.
3.8/5 I checked out this matcha spot downtown and had a mixed experience. The mango sticky rice matcha honestly tasted more like a regular mango matcha, I didn't really get any of the sticky rice element. Didn't taste a drop of grain lol it was still decent overall and sweet enough for my taste (I do prefer my drinks on the sweeter side). The rose matcha wasn't really for me. It leaned too floral and was lighter on sweetness, which made it less enjoyable compared to the mango drink. Service was a bit disappointing. The staff didn't come across as very friendly. When I asked where napkins and straws were, the barista had a blank stare, just pointed without saying anything, and I had a similar experience with other questions. It felt a little unwelcoming. She was also very quiet and sometimes we couldn't hear when our drinks were called, other times, the drinks were just left on the counter without any name called at all. That said, it is a nice spot downtown with outdoor seating, which is a plus. I'd probably only come back if I'm already in the area//or my friends want to try, especially since parking downtown can be such a hassle. Otherwise, I'd likely choose other spots with better drinks and service.
I got the mango sticky rice matcha! It was good but I wish it had some coconut flavoring such as a little cold foam or something. But it was still good!! I also had to try the peach cobbler danish and it was yummy!!

Worth a visit just to try this. Also worked from here for a few hours and loved the cozy atmosphere. Communal tables with built-in outlets, high speed WiFi, and great bites + drinks.
Manana is tied for #1 coffee in Austin for me. Their seasonal lattes hit every time! However, in the most constructive feedback way possible, the cold brew smores drink sucks lol Only drink I have ever been disappointed with. Marshmallow topping on the cold drink just gets stiff and doesn't even absorb into the drink. When you go to drink it, the coffee just moves around the marshmallow fluff & spills on you lol. The drink needs some re-engineering. I love this place still though and will continue coming back.

My husband needed his caffeine fix because our local Starbucks decided to let go of everyone by our apartment so how did, *I -cue dramatic gay emphasis-*, his amazing parter fix this? We drove to Austin to see my bestfriend and find this adorable cafe. As soon as you walk in, you hear the hustle and bustle of a friendly and popular cafe. People are calling out names with their orders, which I truly appreciate, to not confuse any of their guests. Your nose is hit with a pleasant smell from breakfast tacos, to everything kolaches with cream cheese, to baked sweets. But let's be real, it's not just another cafe. It feels like home away from home. Everyone was sweet. The atmosphere? Delightful. So if you're visiting Austin and you're on Congress? Give them a shot. Don't forget to tip your baristas. This coffee shop is cute & the staff are all friendly. Service was excellent. The matcha was good but I was kind of reaching for more. My matcha wasn't strong enough for me but it was drinkable. Parking in this area seems a little difficult. But overall cute coffee shop. I got a matcha with Ube cold foam!
Tacos and coffee is a wonderful combo if served at the right place. And this place serves! My go to is any of their vegan taco and matcha or ube latte. Talk about a morning made! Highly recommend!
The mango sticky rice matcha latte was sooooooo good! I ended up coming back on our short trip for another because I just loved this drink. Cute little space with minimal seating and some outdoor space as well.
I was super excited to try the matcha latte here, but I was ultimately disappointed with my drink. I felt it had too much milk in its ratio to matcha. $7 is also quite a steep price to pay for a matcha latte that's not great. I did, however, very much enjoy their vegan chorizo taco. I wished their green salsa that came with it was spicy, though. It lacked any kick. Overall, this is a cute cafe and the service was great. I liked that they also had an outdoor space where you can sit down and eat on days when the weather is nice. As much as I didn't enjoy the matcha latte, I am definitely interested in coming back to try their pastries and their coffee.

I looooooved the matcha here I tried the mango sticky rice - amazing!! Blended so perfectly and around 8.50 but it is a larger size I also tried the kouignn Amin pastry and also loved this They heated up it up for me as well which was super nice Overall very cute spot Kinda hidden in the back of the south Congress hotel area near the water trade bar Service was great - super helpful with my questions about the pastries too This spot is great - definitely coming back read more
I really wanted to like this place because of the great reviews, but it was just okay. The seating area is a little awkward. I ordered the almond brown sugar latte, and it tasted watered down, overly sweet, and the almond syrup was overpowering. After seeing photos online, I asked if they served food. The staff initially said no, then pointed me toward the pastry case. I ended up getting a kolache, which could have been toasted longer because it was still doughy and slightly undercooked. The staff was friendly, but overall they weren't very helpful. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the hype. read more

I went to try the mango sticky rice matcha! The mango and coconut cream did not overpower the matcha. It was nice and not watered down. $9 for a matcha drink is pricy, but to be expected in Austin. There's only a few small tables indoor, but there are lots of tables outside in a semi-shaded area. Service was fast! read more

I hate to give such a low review I really do, but I came in for a London fog latte, and the one I received was the most watered down drink I've ever gotten from a coffee shop. I ordered it with lavender flavor and that was actually just about the only thing I could taste, the earl grey was almost completely absent and honestly while I sipped it, there were several times it just felt like I was drinking ice water :( my friend even commented when she saw the drink that it looked super watered down, and when I looked carefully she was right. Overall the fact that it was a cold beverage at all in the Texas summer heat has to count for something, plus the staff were very nice and the interior seemed nice for sitting/studying or hanging. But I came in only for a drink and left - and that drink was the most disappointing I've had from a coffee shop :( hopefully if I have a chance to try a drink again later it would be better. read more
I came to try the coffee and the mango sticky rice matcha. I tried a latte with the almond syrup in house and that was quite surprisingly good. And worth another visit for it. The matcha was ok, I didn't quite get a substantial mango sticky rice flavor from drinking it. Not sure if it needed more of that but I see the vision. read more
Bruh. So overhyped come on now. I got the mango sticky rice matcha which was more than $10... there is NO reason for a drink to cost that much. Barely any flavor, I got maybe 3 grains of rice in my drink? And the mango flavoring at the bottom was such a thick consistency it was nearly impossible to mix it. Needed more mango, needed so much more of the cream on the top. I felt like the mango sticky rice was in the same room as me but not in my drink. Save your coin man, I was so disappointed. The matcha quality is there but I'm paying for the mango sticky rice part!! The seating area outside is cute and the entrance is a little hidden. And there were a lot of people working inside taking meetings so claim your table early. Overall, skip. read more
Came on a Sunday morning around 11 am, waited for about 5-10 minutes to order and about 5 minutes to receive drinks. I ordered an iced latte with black sesame syrup and my partner ordered the mango sticky rice matcha. Overall, I think my latte has a nice flavor without being overpowering. My partner gave the matcha 8/10. I think it's worth the spot and can hold its own with the variety of coffee spots off SoCo. They offer both sparkling and flat water from a tap near the creamers and sugars. Seating is a bit limited inside so if looking for a place to work / stay, this may not be the best spot. read more
I tried the mango sticky rice matcha, and while I did taste the coconut milk and mango, I could not taste the matcha. Just by initial looks, the color of the matcha did not look promising. The drink was 85% milk. My sister ordered the regular matcha, but it was also way too milky and watered down. I wouldn't recommend getting matcha here. Prices are steep. Maybe the coffee is better, but I didn't get to try. The employees were friendly. The inside is on the smaller side with limited seating. We street parked. read more

Rating: 3.9/5 The mango sticky rice matcha was so good, I brought my husband here to try it the following weekend. We came on a Saturday around noon, and there was only 1 party in front of us. Mango Sticky Rice Matcha ($8) + Earl Grey Oat Milk ($2) + 2ml CBD ($4): This was an expensive concoction my husband wanted to try, so he drank most of it. I didn't really taste the Earl Grey Oat Milk while he couldn't really taste the mango puree. We both tasted the CBD oil which needed to be constantly stirred or it will settle at the bottom (thanks for the tip barista!) Personally, I prefer the original version without all the add-ons -- the extras felt a bit distracting. That said, it was still better than the Peach Blossom Arnold Palmer. Peach Blossom Arnold Palmer ($6.25): A lemonade Arnold Palmer made with peach blossom white tea. The flavors were subtle but true to the description. You get a hint of tartness from the lemonade at the top, followed by a light, refreshing peach blossom tea. It was okay, but tasted more like a lightly flavored tea -- not worth the price in my opinion. My husband wasn't a fan either. read more
Ordered: Iced Brown Butter Banana Walnut Latte (~$7): latte with a brown butter banana syrup and walnut bitters Aya's take: I'm a sucker for banana flavored drinks or desserts, so when I saw that Mañana had an Iced Brown Butter Banana Walnut Latte, I ordered it expeditiously. I was drinking and drinking and could not taste the brown butter, banana, or even walnut that was allegedly in the drink. I spoke up to a worker asking if I can just get something else but they kindly offered to remake my drink. When they re-made it, it tasted the exact same. I trust it was made properly but I think the syrup was just super weak in flavor. It just tasted like a regular iced latte. Normally, banana is a pretty overpowering flavor but it was nowhere to be found. The drink itself is a 3/5 but I'm bumping it up to a 4/5 due to the friendly staff. read more

I think its really hard to stand out in the Austin coffee scene. Manana, although aesthetic, does not have the coffee profile to compete with the best in the city. However, their drinks are still pretty decent and I do appreciate a rotating seasonal menu. On my most recent visit, I ordered a iced almond brown sugar latte. It was a 7/10- I didn't really enjoy the fake almondy taste that much and it wasn't well balanced with the espresso. My friend ordered off the seasonal menu and got a daybreaker- grapefruit sparkling americano, and it was pretty fire. Overall, probably won't return if I just want coffee, but its a cute spot with fast service to catch up with a friend. read more
Visited this location for the first time on a rainy, dreary, 4th of July in the morning. I didn't see a menu here with any specialty drinks like they have at the downtown location, but we just wanted simple drinks for first thing in the morning. I got a hot latte with almond milk and my fiance got a vanilla latte. We shared a giant delicious cinnamon roll that they heated up for us. There are only a couple of tables, but luckily we grabbed one. Great coffee as usual. High prices, but good quality. read more

A consistent gem in the South Congress. Whether you're looking for a perfectly crafted vanilla latte or a solid breakfast (the ham and cheese croissant and tacos are standouts), this place delivers. The service is always friendly and efficient. Though the footprint of the shop is small, they offer plenty of indoor seating and a charming patio area. Great for a quick caffeine fix or a relaxed morning bite. One small downside: if you're eyeing a seasonal drink with decorative toppings, skip the 'to-go' order. They don't include the garnishes on takeout drinks, so you'll miss out on the full presentation. read more

The matcha itself came thru earthily and wonderfully the mango puree was excellent and a bit sweet but that's to be expected nowadays. Idk how but it did taste like sticky rice. Mañana on Soco is a must when coming to Austin. Big fan of their coffee as well as their pastries, both sweet and savory. They have plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Parking is validated in the attached garage for an hour or two. When on South Congress, definitely would recommend stopping by Mañana for a coffee or treat! read more

Good coffee, great matcha. The ambience is nice and cozy. Their location is great. Manana coffee is a good coffee shop if you are looking for a place to grab a quick drink or sit and chat with some friends. It's not a work from home kinda vibe though. They do sell pastries which are really good. If you are in town manana coffee will be a great place to stop by and then walk around town. read more

I tried Mañana Coffee and got the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha - super unique and really delicious, especially after adding some of the raw sugar syrup they had available. The drink itself was great and had lots of flavor with the mango, but the service not sooo much. When I walked in, I didn't get a hello or any kind of welcome, just a weird super awkward stare.. which made me a little uncomfortable. I had to initiate the interaction and the ordering process which was also awkward due to her not even saying anything. Next time, I might just order online and pick it up to avoid that experience - hopefully with a greeting. read more
Came for a Monday morning & it was a great way to start the day. All the baked goods looked SO GOOD and the croissant that I got was very flaky and perfect. I also got a Matcha latte with one of their homemade syrups and it was a great ratio of matcha to milk to sweetner! I'd say one of the better ones in austin. Mañana coffee is some of my favorite in Austin! The mango sticky rice matcha and the Manana fog have been my go to's this summer! The Manana fog has an early grey infused oat milk that is so tasty and it's just as good hot as it is iced! Plus everyone is always so kind and quick to get you your drinks! read more

To preface I've only had the mango sticky rice matcha and it was fantastic. I asked for an extra shot of the coconut "condensed milk" and it was a perfect touch. (Apparently it's not actually condensed milk but still tasty). Line was kind of long since it's a popular place but once you order, the drinks didn't take too long after! I did notice gnats flying in the pastry case which was very unappealing- I was too afraid to try something after seeing the bugs. read more
The flavor of the mango sticky rice was so accurate in this drink and overall tasted really good. It wasn't overpowering and I still was able to taste the matcha. However, it was nearly 10$ and I probably wouldn't repurchase. If you love mango sticky rice, then I think you should at least give this a try once! The service was quick and friendly.
