Desnudo my belovedddd The drinks were all so amazing, the coffee notes and roast were delightful to taste!!!! The hojicha latte was one of the best i have ever tried, and their brown sugar miso latte was so yummy but not overly sweet. The staff at all locations were all so sweet and friendly, and helpful when picking out the right drinks to order!
We love Desnudo coffee! We get it everytime we come to Austin. The matchas are delicious and the customer service is always on point. We bought beans to go and use at home too. Desnudo is a must stop while in Austin.
This lives up to the hype! The line goes by fast and they are quick to make the coffee! Even if they weren't it would still be worth it! It is close to Fareground food hall so you could also grab a bite to eat if needed!
Even on a work trip, I make sure to find local coffee spots in the morning! They didn't open until 7:30am which wasn't ideal BUT totally worth it and I was the first in line before 12 others by the opening chime! The brown sugar miso latte was very delicious and creamy!
Conveniently located in downtown Austin serving drinks out of a small truck at a business plaza - it was a perfectly sunny but not humid Saturday with lots of outdoor seating available so the vibes were nice with people enjoying the day outside with their drinks. There was a long line that moved surprisingly quickly and had shade so well worth it. Service was super friendly and efficient with two registers open that helped move the line along and not a long wait for drinks despite the small truck they were operating out of. I was intrigued by the iced white miso matcha with orange blossom though after tasting it, I thought I ordered a regular matcha latte - I couldn't detect any white miso nor orange blossom. Since orange blossom can be overpowering, I did still appreciate that the matcha flavor was solid. It had sounded so unique though, I was hoping to taste the balanced flavors. That aside, it's better than most matcha lattes I've gotten elsewhere. The hot matcha latte was solid and I loved the hojicha latte as well.
Stopped by twice on our 2.5 day Austin trip! The coffee and matcha were spot on with the depth of the flavors. We appreciated the bitterness & strength of the caffeine that were nicely complimented with their umami flavor profile and milk of choice. The matcha and coffees were the star and Denudo hit the mark ! The line is long and may look intimidating but it goes quick and the drink orders arrive shortly after about less than 10 min of a wait. Friendly service and cute area to sit and hang.

recently visited Desnudo Coffee and got to try their butterscotch coffee along with the guava matcha. For the butterscotch coffee, I added extra cherry to make it a bit sweeter. It was definitely good and had a unique flavor, but it didn't fully win me over. I enjoyed trying it, but it's probably not something I'd order again. The guava matcha, on the other hand, was incredible. Easily one of the best matchas I've ever had. The flavor was perfectly balanced, not too earthy, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness. Exactly how I like my matcha. Overall, such a fun spot to try creative drinks. I'd absolutely come back for the matcha alone! Note to self, my cousins ordered the white miso and they said it was a little too watery. Get it warm ask for ice on the side.

Went to the Desnudo Coffee trailer located in the Fareground Food Hall. Desnudo is known for serving 100% farm-to-trailer coffee that comes from small farms in Colombia. The line is always long at this location and I wanted to find out what this was all about. The line moves fairly quickly. I placed my order and was able to pay with Apple Pay. My order was prepared quickly considering the length of the line. I ended up ordering a signature matcha, the la guayaba, a uji matcha, topped with a mascarpone guava cold foam and fresh guava puree. I got it with regular 2% milk and it was so creamy and flavorful with the sweetness of the guava balancing out the earthiness of the matcha. The food truck is a a cute little trailer that seems like more of a stand instead of a full cafe. However, there is plenty of outdoor seating at the Fareground for a gorgeous outdoor experience. Can't wait to come back and try other beverages from their menu!

There's a courtyard with several tables and also a second-floor seating area. We ended up sitting upstairs, which gives you a slightly elevated view of the street -- fun for people watching during such a busy weekend. A few tables were a little dirty, which could probably be cleaned more frequently, but overall the space was pleasant. Service was excellent. The person taking orders was smiling the whole time and chatted with us a bit, and the person handing out the drinks was also super friendly. The vibe felt very relaxed despite the crowd. I ordered the Shoyu Butterscotch Latte. According to the menu, it's made with house-made butterscotch, balanced with a two-stage fermented shoyu, and paired with an Amarena cherry. The flavor was really interesting -- a sweet and savory combination that wasn't overly sugary. It had a caramel-like richness, with a subtle umami finish (probably from the shoyu). Smooth and surprisingly balanced. Yes, the specialty drinks are a bit pricey, but the flavors are unique and well executed. If you're in Austin -- especially during SXSW -- this is definitely a fun coffee stop to try.
I was nervous when I saw all the delightfully sweet drinks, but fear not, their coffee is awesome and needs none of that. The black cold brew was delicious, rich, and strong. I'll definitely comeback back! The line was maybe 10 people long when I came by at 2pm on Tuesday, but it moved quickly and was well worth the wait. Located just outside of Fairground Austin in a little silver trailer.

This location is perfect for a post-run treat along the Lady Bird Lake Trail since it's easily accessible right off the Congress Avenue Bridge. My go-to is their popular Brown Sugar Miso Latte, which hits all the right notes--sweet, savory, and so satisfying. I will say it's best enjoyed right away because it can water down and lose its appeal pretty quickly, especially in the Austin heat. The workers are always super friendly, and the line moves faster than it looks. Overall, a great little stop for a refreshing pick-me-up after a walk or run. read more

Ordered two of their specialty white miso matchas and they were rich and thick. The wait was a bit long but we were able to order food from a different spot during that time. My matcha had regular whole milk in it and the label on my cup was cow to label the milk and I thought it was cute. The outdoor patio area is nice and shaded but it gets busy so try to keep an eye out for a spot if you plan to stay. read more

I finally got the chance to visit the downtown location of Desnudo to try the hyped up breakfast sandwich. The iced La Guayaba matcha was delicious but probably not the best choice given the 40°F weather but I have no regrets. It was different from any other matcha I have ever had and I definitely recommend it. Just beware it contains dairy if you are lactose intolerant. The breakfast sando lived up to the hype and had a nice kick which warded off the cold weather. In a genius move on my end, I placed my order online and just went to the pickup window to check in. This definitely saved a lot of time since the line to order was around 40 people deep and going down the steps of the park. My drink order was ready in about 5 minutes and my sandwich order was ready in less than 10 minutes. Even though there were a lot of people ordering, I still saw plenty of seating in the park. read more

It was incredibly busy when we ordered, and I'm not completely sure what happened, but they seemed to have lost our order, since when I finally asked about it, they recognized we were waiting for a long time, apologized, said they will refund the order and work on it right away. That was really sweet. Service is 5/5! I wish I would have liked the coffee more, but it was okay. My boyfriend ordered a brown sugar miso iced latte, and I ordered the butterscotch shoyu hot latte. The brown sugar miso seems more popular, but in my opinion it wasn't that good. However, I recommend the butterscotch shoyu! I was worried it was going to be too sweet, but it wasn't! There is an interesting aftertaste that I would think is the shoyu... I didn't particularly enjoy that.. but I understand it's Desnudo's thing. read more

A small brown sugar and miso latte is a splurge at approximately $8 after tax. I guess that's the average price tag with most downtown area coffee shops? Initially I was skeptical and worried it might be too sweet for my preferences. But the umami from the miso helped cut into the brown sugar. The location was incredibly convenient because it was down the street from our hotel. However, there was a wait because they were experiencing technical issues with their computer and ordering system. What should have been a quick pick-me-up ended up taking about 15 minutes. read more

This spot is located in a super cute outdoor space Downtown with lots of trees and seating. Came here on a Saturday morning around 8:30am. I was worried there would be a long wait but only 2 people were in line when I arrived and I waited about 5 min for my order. What I ordered: - Breakfast Sando (5/5): This was so good! I loved the homemade bun. It's not very big so it's probably a little pricey for its size but it was the perfect amount of food for me - Brown Sugar Miso (4.5/5): I asked for 50% sugar and only 2 shots instead of their standard 3. I think half sugar is definitely the way to go, regular sweetness would have been way too sweet. Only thing is I would recommend asking for less ice. All the ice ended up diluting my drink quite a bit. Overall I would definitely recommend! I was only in Austin for 1 day and I was happy to have stumbled upon this place. read more

This is the spot to get good quality matcha (if you're not getting coffee). The hojicha was delicious! I would come back just for that alone. Order & pay and then wait for your drink to be made. HAD TO check out this place while I was in Austin. I love me a good coffee shop and this place was recommended to me several times from both friends and social medias. First things first, plan for the line!! This place is poppin and the area is in downtown next to a food hall (Cute, aesthetic area btw) but it gets BUSY! So not quite a quick stop. It does go by relatively fast, but I still would keep this in mind. I got the 2 most popular drinks (ive seen) which is the brown sugar miso and the earthy matcha -- yes I got both. Both are a must!! I was actually impressed at the matcha taste with the raspberry, they surprisingly complimented each other really well. The breakfast sando also surprised me!! It was 10/10 tho - perfect amount of spice and flavor I killed the whooole thing. If you have tastebuds and an appetite (hangovers welcome, too!) Desnudo is the place to be for Austin's very best coffee. I mean that from every angle - the Brown Sugar Miso (iced, real milk) is a 5-star treat with roasty toasty sweet and savory (umami on the back-end) goodness. But there's also the feel-good factor: they're investing in the craft of coffee, as in sustainable production that benefits small family farms and lands while delivering this tasty goodness (Colombian beans for sale by mail!). Don't let the line deter you, things move fast, and everyone (especially you) will be glad you came. Just as surprised as you to find the world's best Breakfast Sando (try me) is also on the menu - a pillowy potato bun that melts in your mouth with fluffy crepe-like eggs, crisp bacon, cheese, and some properly spicy (this is TEXAS) chile mayo. I want to preface this by noting that this is a mobile coffee shop located near a restaurant. There was a line but it moves quickly and efficiently. I took a glance at the menu and was thrown off by "brown sugar miso latte." Miso? that can't possibly work can it? When it was my turn to order, I walked up to the cashier and ordered it. Upon hearing my accent, She welcomed me to Desnudo Coffee, a columbian owned coffee shop, specializing in direct trade with Colombian coffee farmers to ensure they get top quality coffee beans. And upon getting the drink, you can tell that the coffee beans were of great quality. The tanginess of the miso surprisingly balances out the brown sugar, mixing together to complement the espresso. It was perfect ratio. I enjoyed it underneath a big tree nearby. My only regret was not buying a bag of coffee beans now that i'm back in LA. I need to go back. read more
I'm a die hard lover of Desnudo - like this entire city! This was my first experience at the Downtown location. When we arrived, the line was quite long but this is deceiving because it moves fast (10-15 mins from end to front)! They definitely have a successful service/hospitality system going on. Staff will offer free samples of their in-house cold brew while you're in line, and there's also a YETI water cooler at the front near the order register (but you have to dig for it - otherwise you'll end up waiting for the bar to give you water cups). They are super proud of their coffee & Colombian producers. And they deserve to, because it's genuinely that good! I decided to try the boggy berry latte, which I've heard is a popular weekend limited-edition special. My date got the cold brew, which I also sipped more of. The latte was the right amount of sweetness, and didn't taste flat with my choice of non-dairy milk either. read more

I got influenced by Haley Hanson to come try this place in Austin, I didn't get to go last time I was here so had to make sure it happened this time. I got their earth day match which was not very good! The servers are very nice but there was quite a long line that for me, was not worth the wait. After all the waiting and getting our drinks there was no branding on the cups! I got the white vanilla miso with orange blossom! i thought it was good but the coffee flavor isn't as strong as I'd like it to be even with less sweet. I definitely do taste the miso and orange blossom which i think is really good but the overall drink is on the pricier side in my opinion. Customer service was really nice as well even though there was still a long line right before they were closing. The outside was cute with plenty of outdoor seating. parking can get rough as it is downtown. read more

I ordered the brown sugar miso latte and it was very good, but I wouldn't say that it was anything exceptional. I was hoping for a stronger miso note. Parking can be quite tricky since it is downtown. There's usually a long line, but the drink drinks come out pretty fast. read more
