It feels more like a touristy coffee shop. So it lacks that care that goes into the coffee making... the coffee was OK..But the view and setup was great.

First time visiting this hidden gem in Austin, and it definitely exceeded our expectations! Conveniently located right next to the lake, this spot offers a beautiful deck with a scenic view where you can relax and enjoy your meal. The atmosphere is laid-back and perfect for spending quality time with friends and family. We ordered a Mediterranean wrap, cold sandwiches, iced coffee, refreshing drinks, and a delicious banana muffin. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced, making it a great value for the experience. The vibe here is peaceful and inviting. Although it can get quite hot during the Texas summer, they also operate in the evening, which makes it an ideal place to unwind after sunset. We really enjoyed everything we ordered and look forward to coming back, perhaps after spending some time on the water. If you're looking for a relaxing lakeside hangout in Austin, this place is definitely worth a visit. Cheers!

Came here to grab a pastry and get some work done and had another great experience. The view here is beautiful, coffee is good, and food is solid. Only complaint is that my croissant did get a little burnt when they warmed it up but not a big deal! Definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area!

We came for the coffee after reading a lot of reviews. While there was nothing particularly extraordinary about the coffee or the smoothie that looks more like a juice ,we still had a nice time overall. The view was beautiful, and the live music was a really nice added touch that made the experience more enjoyable. The register area could use a little more organization since it felt somewhat chaotic at times, and parking was also difficult to find. Overall, it's a good place to visit for the experience and atmosphere.

Wonderful vibe. They have lots of outdoor seating. The seating area is shaded and covered by a big gorgeous tree. There was a band playing music when we stopped by. So nice to sip on coffee while listening to live music. It's very popular so expect to wait in line. It moves quickly so just give them a little time.

Have you ever eaten something and it was so delicious you kept craving that item? Well, that happened to me today. I went by Mozart coffee roasters not for coffee but for a sausage taco. I love that their tacos are so meaty, flavorful and so enjoyable to eat. In retrospect, I should've bought two instead of one, however, I did not want to overdose on tacos today. Just like a number of businesses, Mozart's coffee roasters are featuring Easter related items. They have the cutest little sugar cookies with a Easter theme. My server was friendly and quick. So, was in and out in lightning speed.

Mozart's Cafe was such a pleasant surprise. I stopped by on a Tuesday night because I wanted a hot cup of coffee after dinner, and I was so happy to find a place open until midnight when most other coffee shops were already closed. That alone made it a great find, but what made the experience even better was discovering that they also had live entertainment on Tuesday night until 11. It turned a simple coffee stop into a really enjoyable evening. I ordered a coffee and a brownie, and while the total was a little on the expensive side, around $15 or $16, it felt completely worth it to me. The quality was there, and everything felt a bit more gourmet than your average coffee shop stop. The brownie was delicious, the coffee was exactly what I wanted, and the overall atmosphere made the price feel justified. Between the free entertainment, the beautiful decor, and the location, it felt like much more than just paying for coffee and dessert. One of the best parts of the experience was the setting. Being right on the water made it especially beautiful at night. You can enjoy your drink, take a walk, look at the lights, and just soak in the scenery. It was the perfect place to unwind after a heavy meal and a long workday. Since I was only in Austin for work and do not live in the area, I was really glad I found somewhere that felt special and relaxing instead of just functional. The staff was also very friendly, which added a lot to the experience. Good service always makes a difference, and here it made the place feel even more welcoming. Overall, I definitely recommend Mozart's Cafe if you are looking for a late-night coffee spot with charm, scenery, and a unique atmosphere. I would absolutely go back again.

From Chicago, first time at Mozart's today for brunch. Here are my thoughts: -This place is crazy popular! We arrived around 11am on a Sunday morning, very large space and it was packed all morning with people waiting in long lines to order food. -Service was friendly, good, and reasonably efficient. We waited about 15 minutes in line and our food came out in less than 10 minutes. -Outdoor seating overlooks Lake Austin and the atmosphere is fantastic! Lots of collegey students, young couples, families, etc. -They had live music, which had a folk feel. Really nice, not too loud, but certainly added to the cool vibe. -I ordered the chicken empanada, which was larger than I expected, flaky crust--very good. Green salsa was fire! -Also ordered the mocha special, which has caramel--good coffee. Highly recommended!!

Right when we arrived had a line, small wait but staff worked hard to service everyone quickly! This place had great coffee and sweet treats. Also a beautiful view of Lake Austin. Wife walked away with some gifts to take back home to Hawai'i!

This place is definitely a local classic and very popular with residents. It's right by the water, and every time I come here it's packed with people, clearly a go-to spot. The pastries are okay, but nothing particularly memorable. The coffee is decent and enjoyable, but not something that really stands out on its own. That said, this place isn't really about outstanding food or drinks, it's all about the atmosphere. The location by the water, the lively crowd, and the overall vibe are what make it special. It's a great spot to sit, relax, and soak in the local energy. Just don't come expecting exceptional pastries or specialty coffee. Come for the ambiance, not the menu, and you'll enjoy it.

A cafe by the water, what more could you ask for? And you get a great view of people out on the river too, to which my friends were watching some SUP yogis balance precariously and eventually fall in. Anyways, the food selection is pretty varied, I usually get a fruit tart and this last time I tried the pretzel bun BEC and it was a chungus delicioso. I also got their March special latte, Galway Girl, which was yum. Definitely check out this cute space as they usually have live music even throughout the day. An Austin classic for sure.

Visited to try a coffee and pastry. The sugar cookie latte was alright. The pistachio cannoli was excellent. There was a very long line. Waited about 15 minutes to order and another 5 to get my order. They had live music and plenty of seating. The outdoor seating is perfect next to the lake especially during cooler weather. I would definitely come back for just the ambiance alone. It was very relaxing.

Amazing coffee spot in Austin a little outside downtown. Good view of the river and good coffee. They also have a great sweet counter. Had coffee with my daughter here and it was really nice. Service was quick and friendly. The outside are was chill. There were quite a few people here in the afternoon. Good coffee and desserts!

Even semi-stale, and reheated in the microwave, it was still delicious. I put a scoop of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream on it which definitely helped. I also ordered a Heavenly Hash (one of my favorite ice cream flavors BTW) and a Naughty and Nice because I am all about the classics. They were both outstanding. No leftovers. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows.
