This desert themed cute coffee shop made me feel like I really stepped into the desert, and the hot weather outside really made it realistic. They have cute merch for sale near the counter, so it's easy to shop around while you are waiting in line. We came on a Sunday morning, and the place was packed and line was constantly to the door, so it seemed like a popular spot. They do have a pretty large indoor seating area, which is mainly community style, but most of those seats were taken. They have some seating outside but again it was pretty hot and it was mainly in the sun, so it wasn't super ideal for a hangout spot. They had some seasonal options so I tried the Little Lad Matcha, which has that tartness from the cream cheese foam but I loved the berry syrup. The matcha itself was not the best quality, which I could see from the color, but overall not the worst drink.

Great coffee shop imo better than desnudo... specially referring to latte options! Service is good and this location has a beautiful inside and is great to work out of. Many Plants and little Knick knacks too! Great coffee and vibes !

Pretty café! They have two locations and this is their original. They have a designated parking lot so that's a plus! But there is no sign indicating it is Palomino Coffee on the outside. Their doors have a pink "thank you" so that's the right place. Staff is friendly and greeted me when I walked in. I got the black sesame matcha (hot) and the latte art is pretty! As for the flavor, I thought it was ok. There was still some powder at the bottom of the cup when I finished drinking. You clean up after yourself. There are many plants for sale and they're so cute! There's indoor and outdoor seating. It was a hot day so I opted to sit inside. They have free Wi-Fi and it works great. The tables are mainly communal, so if you don't want to sit with other people, it may not be the best place for getting work done. There are people talking, taking calls, along with music playing in the background.

Super gorgeous cafe!! The overall set up is beautiful and I love the bright green of the plants. I actually have been looking forward to returning to this cafe after last trying it out about a year ago. The staff was amazing and made great conversation. Although the environment and aesthetic of the cafe is top notch, the latte I got was underwhelming. I got the seasonal black sesame matcha latte which was unflavorful. If anything, it tasted like straight milk with a faint hint of black sesame. I wanted to enjoy it so bad. Kinda disappointed so I don't know if I'd go out of my way to try their drinks when I'm in Austin again.

Palomino is such an East Austin staple!! This is the best place to WFH, meet a friend, or grab a drink or pastry to-go. Strong wifi, plenty of seating inside and outside, great coffee - what's not to love?? I'm a regular here, and today there was a fall market outside, so my fiancé and I brought the pups over to check it out. I stepped inside to grab myself a latte, and I found the most magical plant oasis inside! Over the last few weeks/months, Palomino has been incorporating more and more plants and foliage into their decor, but today was just out of this world. So beautiful! They removed the roasting unit that used to be in the back of the coffee shop (I'm assuming they brought it to their second location opening soon on Airport Blvd) and instead there is a plant shop in the back now. So cool!

The previous review of mine shares all my necessary thoughts on Palomino, but I have a running list (for my own personal desires) of the best coffee shops in Central Texas and Palomino ranks in the top 3. They do a good job here. I had a blueberry latte and it smacked. RIYL: Going to coffee shops with unique vibes and Instagram-worthy spaces, but also actually having good espresso drinks.

I appreciate the huge parking, the vibey atmosphere, and the delicious drinks! And that's really all you can ask for. All the syrups are made in house, and are therefore not too sweet, which I'm sure most people would love. As a sweet drink lover, I love that you can just add more sugar yourself if you want. I myself was a big fan of the blueberry matcha latte. The matcha flavor was pretty present while still being able to taste blueberry.

The interior design aspect of Palomino Coffee is an interesting adobe/desert combo with concrete flooring. It's really quite different than any other coffee shop and I like it. Once you enter from the parking lot (with ample parking spaces) it's as though you're instantly transported to the desert. It really reminds me of something you'd expect to find in Marfa. The space doesn't appear to be large but it actually has a lot of roomy interior seating with big tables, sofas, etc. In front of the shop as you enter is a patio area for outdoor seating. One of the best things about this coffee shop (aside from the coffee) is that they allow dogs inside as well as outside. Yes, most of Austin is this way but you'd be surprised how many coffee shops only allow furry friends on exterior patios. The croissants are perfectly flaky and fresh. The blueberry latte tastes like a blueberry muffin! It's one of their seasonal offerings and it's out-of-this world delicious. The blueberry syrup is sugar-free & house made. The staff are pleasant and have mastered the craft of coffee as art.

Loved visiting Palomino Coffee this morning!! Such a fun spot to chill on the patio with some friends and we even looked at some plants while waiting for our coffees. The to-go cups are so cute, they are rounded. I ordered the cardamom mocha and was the perfect blend of good flavor without being too sweet. My friend ordered the lavender matcha and she liked it, she said it was just heavy on the lavender. 10/10 recommend and the employees were all super nice too.

I really enjoyed this spot. It was aesthetic, pet friendly, full of plants, and their coffee was really good. I ordered their seasonal pumpkin latte and it delivered. I'll be keeping it in mind for casual coffee dates in the future.

The assethetic of this place is just lovely, so welcoming, and total cool relaxing vibe with group tables and a bar to sit and sip. The barista was cool and friendly. They have some unique drink options. The plants were everywhere they are so nice, they are for sale. Our drinks were good tasting, they make thier add in like the ginger in my drink on site which is cool however the drinks were served warm not hot and served in a glass like a drink or cocktail which I didn't care for but that's just a personal prefernece. It was a great little shop if your in the area, its worth the visit but I went out of my way to get here, I would stop by if in area not but go out of my way again.

palomino coffee is a very very aesthetic cafe filled with lots of plants! i feel like most of the popularity comes from the decor tho because the drinks fell a bit short. they're pretty pricey yet the portions are small and tasted extremely watered down. both the hot sesame latte and the iced blueberry latte were weak in terms of coffee and overall flavor :( definitely a beautiful space to sit in but i wish the drinks lived up to the ambiance

I think my favorite coffee shop so far in Austin! Beautiful store with plants all over. Loved the vanilla latte and was a decent amount of seating to do work. Also easy parking!!

Radio Rosewood wants to keep the party going all day and late into the night, offering food outside of "goes with coffee" and a beautifully appointed bar. Having said this, I just needed coffee, so my review is going to focus on that. The featured coffees here are roasted by their own RCB Roasters, and my selection was their Ethiopian Guji, promising some nice acidity and brightness from its lighter leaning roast profile. The coffee "space" is compact here, but they're using good gear and seem to have the staff to use it well. My espresso was served with sparking water, and was just as I'd hoped, a bright cup with citrus acidity that was well structured, but not overly acidic or bitter at all. It was a winner all around. I'll have to get back in for an adult beverage on my next visit, but I was pleased to see that us coffee lovers can still get a good "fix" here!
