You know, a first kind of date vibe to keep you relaxed and happy. You just might like him after coming here! The inside is very spacious and adorable, with more than a few areas to sit. I like the newness of it, the modern mixed with a newer, rusty cabin and woodsy feel. I love the chairs, the cute wood tables, and the slouchy, comfortable couches. I love a tall bar table with length, and there are several of these tables here. The outside patio is big and covered, with these enormous ceiling fans to keep you cool in the Texas heat. Let's say this, you'll never have to worry about finding a seat here for two or eight. So you know had to order more than a coffee. The plan was to get just a coffee, but that went quickly out the window once I spied the pastry. I tried this soft, buttery pastry with cheese, spinach, and pepper! I must say "wow," it was so good. Oh, two more things, there are more restaurants and stores to visit on the same lot or area, so take your time here sipping your coffee, there's so much to do, and don't worry about parking because there are plenty of spaces. read more

As a matcha girlie - Medici has a pretty good matcha latte. It's unsweetened, but a good balance of grassy and creamy with milk. Parking can be hit or miss. They have a lot of 1hour and 15 min spots and regular parking spots further back. Line for drinks can be long depending on the day. I went on a Friday morning and there was a bit of a wait. There are seats inside and in the main area connected to other businesses. Music is pretty loud so I don't recommend taking call here. read more

Amazing space. Came across this coffee shop today for the first time. I have seen other locations around town yet havnt been that I can recall. This spot was stunning. A very large open floor plan with more than enough seating. The outside space does have a lot of direct light from about open till 1 but the inside space is very large. There are a few other things attached so that definitely is a bonus for me. As I'm not a huge pastry person. They do offer tacos and yogurt along with some wrap options. The drink selection was stunning great options for everyone's taste. The person working was so kind. Okay yes this coffee is ridiculously expensive but it's also ridiculously good. They offer pistachio milk and I highly recommend it in a vanilla latte. They have a parking lot so it's super easy to find a parking spot and there's plenty of seating inside. We love it here!!! The lavender matcha latte is the best one I've ever had! The lavender sweetener is perfect l. I always say it tastes sweet like cereal milk. There are a lot of matchas that I've had that clump at the bottom of if I drink it too slow, but this one does it. I've drinken it a few hours later and it's still perfect. They also have a great selection of pastries and if you come early enough they have some delicious tacos. Beautiful lounging area with comfortable seating to do some work, take a break or meet up with friends. I also love the windows here! It brings in such beautiful lighting. This rating reflects the service I received. I went in to purchase just a pastry. The barista mentioned it was half price, which I said was great. As I confirmed my order, he said, "You know, if you order a (premium) coffee, you get a mug." I clarified by asking, "I get a mug?" and he replied, "Yes." He didn't say it would come in a mug -- he said I would get one. Based on that, I decided to order the coffee as well. When I got the coffee, I mentioned the conversation to a second barista, who laughed and made a snide remark. I reconfirmed what the first barista had told me, and shortly after, both of them -- standing just a few feet away -- began talking about me and laughing. It felt disrespectful and dismissive. In the end, I paid for an expensive coffee I didn't want, didn't receive the promised mug, and left feeling mocked. The whole experience was disappointing. It was my first time visiting this business, and I will not be back. I would have preferred to speak with store management (so maybe this wouldn't happen to another customer--instead of leaving this review), but could not find a working listed phone number for them. read more

This is my favorite Medici in town! I love this new shopping/food plaza on the Springdale Rd. There are so many cute shops to explore in this area and the Medici is one of the cutest spots to hangout! The coffee shop is spacious and has a lot of cute wooden tables and nice furnitures. In addition to coffee and tea, this Medici also sells draft beer and their price is rlly good. The staffs are super friendly here and they always welcome you at the counter with warm greetings. For the 3 times I worked here, I see they clean the tables after each guest left. Its so nice that they're able to maintain the space nets and tidy. Will keep coming back for sure! read more

It's okay for casual work, since the wifi isn't bad and there are ample outlets. The music and environment can be loud and half the tables are coffee tables, so it's not too comfortable for work meetings, but still good enough to focus on whatever you gotta do. Medici is a local coffee chain that's in most of the hip neighborhoods in town. Came here for an after lunch drink. I got the matcha with an oat milk. Prices are average and perhaps a little more than average if you upsize and add a plant based milk substitute. My drink was closer to $7 with the add ons. If you are in the area I would recommend this place but I wouldn't come here specifically otherwise. There's lots of seating in the shared food court, bar seating inside, and outdoor seating as well. Since I came on the weekend I wasn't looking for WiFi but it did look like a few people we're working on their laptops. read more

Beautiful space in Springdale General. Their menu is on the smaller side, and that leaves plenty of opportunities for them to hone and perfect the coffees they serve. I had the cafe au lait, which was yummy. I sat at their bar area and did homework. The cup size was generous for $3.50. On the occasion, I observed their baristas making coffee. They also sell pastries, which are more affordable than the pastries the nearby Julie Myrtille sells. If you're craving lunch, then Uroko is next door to fulfill your need for sushi. Only complaint I have is that the music in Springdale General is way too loud. Cafe Medici can't do much about the stereo outside its doors, but I had an unpleasant time doing homework while listening to alternative rock that made the floors vibrate from the sheer cacophony. The lighting from outside is picturesque, but be warned that the sounds that come from the rest of Springdale General is far from pleasant. read more
