What do get when you put together Desnudo coffee and Texas French Bread pastries? Mazúr Coffee..of course! I have been wanting to try Mazúr Coffee for some time and it did not disappoint. I ordered a pistachio latte and banana nut muffin...both were delicious. The coffee was warm, pistachio forward and buttery. The banana nut was dense, flavorful and loaded with nuts especially on the top. Mazúr Coffee reminded me of being Paris...checkered floor tiles and bistro-style seating with plants sprinkled both indoors and outdoors. The coffee shop is small, intimate and charming. Kiely, the barrister, recommended the pistachio latte and she was spot on. I really enjoyed the muffin as well. She was very friendly and accommodating. In addition, Mazúr coffee shares a space with Mazúr Boutique.

A cute place with small seating. A lot of outlets and great WiFi! The coffee was too sweet for me, and I asked for it half sweet. Fun flavors to try! There is a clothing store shared in the space.

Cutest little coffee shop boutique. Not a lot of seating options in the shop but if you snag one, it's a beautiful space with natural lightening, would be great for a WFH. I tried the iced chai latte. No complaints. The boutique has the cutest things (definitely boutique pricing though). Great addition to the neighborhood.

I was looking for a place to study and this coffee shop popped up on my search. Located right next to connected boutique, this tiny coffee shop has such a cute aesthetic, free WIFI, and some electrical outlets. Though the coffee space is tiny it is very cozy and when I can on a weekday there were still plenty of spots open for me to sit down and enjoy. I think it can seat about 15 people inside and about 4 people outside as there were two tables outside. Parking is free and easy as they have a connected parking lot. Drink wise I got a London fog which was just all right - was overly sweet. The reason for 4 stars? I found their prices to be a little high when I don't consider this coffee shop as a specialty coffee shop and feel like they are charging Merit/Houndstooth prices for specialty lattes when I don't think they use the same techniques as those coffee shops do.

The barista was so friendly to start off! Got their seasonal teddy graham latte with oat milk. I loved it! It had hints of cinnamon, graham cracker and the coffee was so smooth. It's on the sweeter side so if you're not into that I'd order it without cold foam. Limited seating and WiFi was pretty decent. I'll be back!

I did a coffee search as I was on Medical Pkwy, and wasn't familiar what was in the area..... LOVELY SURPRISE stopped by cute as a button location easy to find as the stripe awnings draw you in. Nice outdoor area featuring bistro chairs, tables plus a pretty purple bougainvillea The barista is inside, ordered a cappuccino very well done served nice & hot sometimes they can be lukewarm nice inviting indoor seating area too. Complete coffee service from traditional coffees to specialities like my cappuccino. Also have pastries for your am hunger pains. Plenty of free parking & this coffee bar is part of a boutique incase you like to have a bevie while shopping it was early so the boutique wasn't open yet however I did see lots of cute options. This end Medical Parkway is close to 45th~ if your in the area STOP ON IN, the coffee shop opens @ 7am~

When I located this coffee shop on my walking route of the day, I didn't realize I'd heard about it before -- connected to its host boutique. It seemed quite popular on a Tuesday afternoon and there was bit of a line to order and wait for your drink. The barista complimented my hat which was very nice of her! I only got a matcha with lavender syrup but really liked how it turned out. They also have the cutest seating area inside and outside for those who aren't taking their treats to go!

This coffee shop is the best! Their pistachio latte is so good - iced or hot, and the boutique and seating areas are so cute

Great little spot connected to a boutique. I got one of their seasonal options, the raspberry matcha and it was good. I do wish the cup came with a stirrer or closed with a straw as the jam just stays stuck at the bottom when you drink out of it. It's cute for pics though!

Super yummy banana bread latte and banana nut muffin!! Owner was so kind and chatted with me about the sweatshirt I was wearing. Sitting area and boutique are both very cute!

My friend and I came to visit during a workday, and we had such a fun time! The owner is so sweet, and honestly, the entire staff is beyond sweet, helpful, and kind. I believe they're a female-owned business, and the owner studied fashion (if I remember correctly) in college and opened this store afterwards! Such an inspirational story, and you can tell that the store encompasses a lot of her background. Mazur Coffee is the coffee shop inside of the shop, and I believe they have some roots in NYC coffee! My friend ordered the cold brew, which was really strong and exactly what she needed. I got their Valentine's special latte, and it was DELICIOUS. I think it was one of the best specialty lattes I've ever gotten in Austin, and I can't believe it came from a coffee shop that doesn't just specialize in coffee! It was really creamy and well balanced, and I hope they add it to their menu permanently. I would definitely come back again and try some of their other lattes because the matcha sounds delicious as well. The boutique itself has a lot of really cute and high-quality clothes. They carry Paige and other high-end brands, so it's so fun to shop and drink a caffeinated beverage at the same time. They do have some seating that's in a really bright area of their shop, and I saw a few people studying, chatting, and even taking work calls here. I'd say it's a perfect daytime cafe with great vibes!

New clothing and coffee shop just off Medical called Mazur, pronounced "meh-zuhr" or like "Missouri" without the "ouri," according to the barista. The coffee shop side opens at 7am and has its own entrance toward the back. The interior feels stylish and cozy, exactly what you'd hope for from a boutique. There are a handful of small café tables, and they serve Desnudo beans with all the usual coffee options, plus chai, matcha, and a small pastry case. Service was super friendly. I didn't really browse the clothing section (looked like mostly women's styles), but the coffee service alone made me want to come back. Curious to see how busy it gets on weekends and if parking stays as easy as it was when I went.

A spot connected to a nice boutique with a vibe of its own, this place is a fun cafe with an indoor and outdoor set up akin to the European casual coffee date. It has what you expect from a cafe around Austin: the La Marzocco machine, signature seasonal lattes, and some seating for duos. There are not that many places for you to sit and work as well as not many (or none in general) outlets for electronic devices, so it lends itself closer to a "let's get lattes and chat for a bit before 5 pm" vibe. The peppermint latte was also really nice, not too syrupy and enough of a peppermint flavor that doesn't taste like melted down candy canes. Other offerings that don't include espresso also have seasonal options as well. The workers were also nice enough to give a last call before closing up. Great place for a quick coffee without going to an overpriced and overrated chain drive-thru.

Open later than most coffee shops, especially in this deserted part of town. Varied drink menu, both caffeinated and not caffeinated, including refreshers. Nice creative variety of desserts (including a Biscoff cake!) and a kolaches case. At one point the brought some hot baked dessert (looked like a whole coffee cake) out the oven and it smelled like heaven. The bad: Nothing vegan or healthy, not even pre-made cold sandwiches or packaged salads. If you are a little peckish for a healthy snack, this is not the place. The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. Disappointingly, the Americano was also watery and sort of "lemony", but I still drank half while sitting with my friend. I'll say that my friend had some sort of an iced latte that she enjoyed. I might try a second visit and order a Turkish coffee, but I will make sure to have had a full meal before.

While exploring the many museums across the University of Texas campus, a quick caffeine break was needed for my girlfriend and we were overwhelmed by the number of options on The Drag. It makes sense that there are plenty of places to choose from because of the large number of UT students. Everyone needs a little coffee in their lives. One of the highest reviewed ones with a large pool of ratings was Lucky Lab Coffee and after checking a few quick reviews, we decided to give it a chance. Lucky Lab has five locations in Austin (four on campus) and one location in Dripping Springs. The one we were at off The Drag was their flagship. This location serves a little bit of everything from sandwiches to pastries, salad to quiche, and of course, coffee. As we walked inside the flagship, it is easy to notice how tight the space is. There is very little seating inside at their bar, but they make up for it with plenty of shaded outdoor space that is perfect for a nice day. Scanning their menu, we landed on some drinks from their winter menu. I was intrigued by their Pomegranate Rosemary Latte while my girlfriend tried their Ginger Spice Mocha. We got them both iced. First, it is interesting to see the fusion of pomegranate and rosemary in a latte. I was intrigued by those flavors. Their drink sizes are 12 oz, 16 oz, and 20 oz, each adding an additional 50 cents to each upgrade. All milk alternatives cost 1 dollar. It was only a short wait to get our coffees and the cup with the little lab on it was cute. I think specialty drinks have an opportunity to be amazing and one of a kind or the worst drink imaginable. This pomegranate rosemary latte did not fall into either category exactly, but leaned more toward the latter. I love pomegranates and I always appreciate how earthy rosemary can be in a coffee. One of my favorite lattes I have ever had has rosemary in it. This was just not working for me. I shamefully did not finish my coffee. As for my girlfriend, she did not like her ginger spice mocha. I could not imagine gingerbread syrup not working in a mocha, but after trying it myself it was not for me either. It seems like a perfect match, but here the gingerbread is competing with the chocolate and instead of complementing each other they clash. She told me that the flavors were "un-mocha like". She drank less than half of her coffee before tossing it as well. Neither of us wanted to dislike Lucky Lab. They seem well established and I felt like they were trustworthy based on reviews, but I wonder what these previous reviewers were tweaking on or what magical concoction of coffee granted from heaven above they were sipping on because we were distraught by how disappointing these drinks were. I would like to give Lucky Lab Coffee Co the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe the specialty drinks were not up to par with their traditional beverages. However, the almost 30 different syrup options on their wall make me feel they lack a little focus and try too hard to stand out. They lose what makes a coffee good, which is coffee. I want to say I will give them a second shot in the future to see if it was just an off day or a bad beverage pick. Too many shots turns a Lucky Lab into Old Yeller. The lab needs to be put on a leash before I think about returning. RIYL: options

I usually only go to coffee shops to work, but today, went on a coffee date with my dog instead. There's ground floor parking in the garage that's complimentary for two hours. I kept it simple with a vanilla latte. I noticed they had tacos at the bottom of the food menu, but at $13.25 for two tacos + an a la carte item, I decided to pass. Maybe my expectations were too high (as usual) because it's inside a hotel, but I was hoping for the kind of warm hospitality hotels are known for, but instead, the service felt a bit cold. It didn't exactly make me want to spend more money there. While sitting on the patio, I spotted the food truck outside and thought, "PERFECT. A food truck HAS to be cheaper. Take that Simona's!" I walked up to the window... only to find out it wasn't actually a separate food truck. It was just the pickup window. To order? I had to go back inside to Simona's and place my order with the delightful staff... I ended up ordering two Blue Migas tacos, and honestly, they were just... good, but nothing memorable. They tasted like your average breakfast tacos that you can find all over Austin for less. Despite loving how relaxing the outdoor patio is with its lucious greenery surrounding you and the beautiful French chairs and cafe tables, it's located right next to the hotel pool. If you're visiting on a summer afternoon, expect some extra noise with pool guests. If you're looking for a quiet coffee or a place to work, I'd recommend coming early in the morning instead.
