Spooky Halloween matcha with Ube cream & sesame milk
    Karson S.

LOVE the people here - they are looking for their next home so if you know anyone who wants to add a coffee / matcha pop up to their small business, please reach out to them! I've tried a few of their seasonal flavors, but still need to try their just regular matcha. Tried the cornbread matcha (a little more bitter than sweet) and their spooky Ube & sesame milk matcha (more on the sweet side). Hoping they can find another place quickly so I can visit again!

Best matcha in Austin!!! The owners are wonderful and put so much energy and love into their craft, respecting the traditions of matcha culture and not taking shortcuts. Every matcha latte is measured with FIVE GRAMS of sifted powder (which is double what most places would give you), making for a creamy, delicious drink with that dark vibrant color. They then hand whisk every drink to perfection and garnish beautifully. My current fav is the banana bread latte, but everything on the menu is amazing. Cannot recommend enough- I am such a fan!!

They have a revolving menu of unique and delicious coffees - the owners are so incredibly sweet and will guide you through your decision making process. I met them at a pop up so I can't speak to the ambiance of the place but I know the owners friendliness and quality of coffee will make the experience great!!

I will say that the coffee and matcha were great and the flavors were very unique. The one thing I was notexpecting was the location, the photos and everything looked super cute in an older renovated home which it is but it shares the space with a salon. I would say the salon has the primary space and I wasn't sure if the sitting area was for waiting for the salon, drinking our drinks, or both. The person making our drinks was kind and helpful. Overall I would come here again for the drinks but I was hoping this was a place I could hang out and drink my coffee for a bit and didn't get that. Parking is limited as well. Definitely give this a shot though if you want a great, unique drink on the go.

the ube black sesame soy matcha was trying to do too many things at once, the ube soft top was delicious, but while black sesame matcha is one of my favorite combinations, this one missed the mark. it was extremely chalky and had no matcha flavor also expensive for about $8.50

I'll start this off by saying... I don't even like Matcha. Scoff if you'd like, but every matcha I've had has always underwhelmed me. Well...not today. Tucked away in a cute little house on Cesar Chavez is Luanne's Coffee and Matcha. I had the cornbread latte, which was made with matcha, corn milk and dreams. Pro tip, make sure you stir it up well. It was DELICIOUS!! I will definitely be back. Vanessa, the owner, was incredibly kind and passionate about her craft too.

Lucky Latte (matcha) & Dark Cherry Mocha Latte (espresso)

Hands down the best matcha & coffee in town! I tried two of their specials the Lucky Matcha Latte and the Dark Cherry Mocha Latte (both iced) and I'm already dying to go back for more! The shop is absolutely adorable, the customer service is AMAZING, and their branding + marketing is seriously on point. Love supporting local ATX businesses like this such a gem!

Tried Luanne's Coffee and Matcha for the first time and it did not disappoint! We had the honey cornbread matcha latte and the brown butter pumpkin spice matcha latte--both were so creative and full of flavor. The cornbread one had a subtle sweetness and cozy, nostalgic vibes, while the brown butter pumpkin spice was rich, nutty, and perfect for fall without being overly sweet. The space is warm and inviting, and you can tell they really put care into their drinks. Definitely worth a visit if you're a matcha lover looking for something beyond the usual!

Upon mine every visit, I am greeted with such warmth that I feel as though I have returned unto my second home. One morn there appeared a gentleman who stitched garments with great skill and courtesy. Another time stood a musician who played both the harmonica and the mouth harp at once, whilst bounding upon a pogo stick as though driven by enchantment. Upon a Tuesday not long past, a strange vessel descended from the heavens, and the musician was swept upward by its radiant light. He was taken, examined for his gifts, and after much probing for knowledge, was returned unto us transformed. When he reappeared, he had become a mighty totem, carved like a great log of the forest. There was a pretty measurable line outside the food truck, and I was worried the coffee might be overhyped based on how long the line was. After ordering a hot version of their Honey Lavender Oat Latte, I think they are owed an apology from me. I will always talk about the importance of balancing the espresso, syrups, and milk in a latte, and Noble Joe does it better than most brick and mortar coffee shops I have been to in Austin. It is significantly flavorful while still being espresso forward. I was genuinely impressed, which is hard to do after being the wreck I was post run. If you are on the trail, it is worth the detour. I live quite north so Noble Joes was a bit of a drive for me and honestly it's good coffee but a bit overhyped in my opinion. I bought two lattes - the seasonal blackberry crumble ($7) and the sugar cookie latte ($6), and although both had a good flavor, they both had all of the brown sugar that was supposed to be in them undissolved on the bottom and as best as I tried to dissolve it with the straw given, I had to wait until I was home (about 30 mins) to get a spoon to dissolve it. Personally I liked the sugar cookie latte the best! I would probably rate the coffee overall as a 7.5/10- definitely worth trying at least once! Service- 10/10 the baristas were very pleasant! I also ordered a vegan kolache, and was very surprised by the amount of flavor in the vegan sausage. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.
