I've gone twice and did not disappoint. They have classic coffee flavors with Vietnamese influence like the egg coffee and also matcha that you can tell is high quality. It can take some time to get the drinks out when it's busy because they hand whisk the matcha but trust me it's worth it. The aesthetic of the coffee shop is nice and modern. I can see this being a great place to study.
The eispanner matcha and coffee were fantastic and prepared with a lot of effort--it did not feel rushed and tasted amazing! The drinks are strong, well priced, and the atmosphere was warm and roomy. Would go back again!
Love the ambiance and plenty of seats available for groups or pairs. I was looking for a place to read my book and I stumbled upon this spot. There were so many options I wanted to try but I ended up getting the mango matcha latte. It was very smooth and tasty. There was only one worker at the time I came in so there was a wait but it was understandable. He was friendly and took the time for each drink. There is free wifi and the washrooms were clean. I will come back to try out their other drinks when I come back in town.
(visited in Oct 2025- late review) I'm so glad Austin is beginning to amp up their coffee scene, especially on the Asian-influenced side. I loved the aesthetic of this place, and their menu offered a good selection of coffee/matcha drinks. I got the matcha coco cloud (not pictured), and it was good. All of their matcha drinks are made-to-order which is another good sign. There was plenty of seating inside for groups up to 4, and a lot of people were studying/hanging out when I went. It was a little noisy given how crowded it was, so headphones are a must if you're looking for some quiet. Parking was not bad either since we parked in the garage close by, but it was limited to 30-mins max on the 1st floor, so I'm not sure where people who stay longer park.

Literally could drink a banana flavored coffee or matcha every day and Dam makes a good one. Super nice banana flavor-didn't taste artificial at all which is appreciated. Very quick service which is nice and was an ok priced drink- def not cheap but hey, this is a city. I would def get their matcha again too. It tastes fresh and delicious and the banana foam was a perfect complement

I come here quite often since it's close to the gym. As a Vietnamese this place has really good viet coffee and the foam is so good! I recommend the Hue coffee because anything foam count me in! The service is great and the ambiance is chill, a great spot to study or get work done. I'll definitely be back!
This place holds a special place in my heart it's a must to stop by after a gym sesh! Their matchanana has me in a choke hold , I always order it with extra banana syrup! They feature a variety of Vietnamese inspired coffee and my sister loves the Huế coffee (Huế girly= Huế approved) The place is super spacious and great place to study. Compared to Caphein, Dam has a more relaxed vibe with additional seating, which makes it a great place to hang out or get some work done. I noticed it's also a popular study spot for students, so a few extra outlets would be a nice touch. That aside, every matcha I've ordered here has been amazing in both flavor and consistency. The matcha taste actually comes through, and the drinks never feel too watered down or overly sweet. Overall, Dam is easily staying at the top of my Austin matcha list and is a spot I'd keep coming back to.

The egg viet coffee was good as well but I preferred the matcha. Lots of space to get work done or meet with friends. There was plenty of parking and the staff is really nice. Rating: 4/5 Dam is a spacious coffee shop with plenty of seating and a calm atmosphere. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty quiet inside. The drink cup sizes do run a bit small though. Matchanana ($7) + Oat Milk ($0.75): There was a lot of banana cream, which ended up overpowering the matcha, making it hard to taste. I also don't think they topped my drink with banana chips like in some of the photos. However, if you love banana, this drink is definitely for you. Strawberry Matcha Latte ($7) + Oat Milk ($0.75): Better than the Matchanana. The matcha flavor was stronger, and their strawberry syrup is one of the best I've tried. My husband asked for his drink to be sweeter, and the extra jam they added made it even better. Overall, the matchas didn't stand out, but I would come back to try their Vietnamese coffee.
Honestly I want to try every single item on their menu, but for my first time, I went with the matchanana. The matcha and banana flavors both come through really well, but I feel like it's not as creamy as other matchas I've had.

This place is 2 days from being a year old, and it will be known as a legendary shop soon, you should go try the best Hanoi style egg coffee in the world before the lines become hours-long influencer feats. I mean the world, these guys aren't serving the $1.45 OG from Cafe Giang, they aren't even serving the version from Loading T, they're serving the single most luxurious premium version of what Loading T did to the Giang OG: this is the definitive version of egg coffee in the world, anyone who disagrees can fight me. This drink is so spectacular it elevates it beyond a mere delicious curiosity into a universally perfect drink. In 2-5 years every specialty coffee shop will likely be copying this as it becomes trendy. If you want to be a cool kid and drink some of the best coffee on the planet before that inevitable blow up, GO NOW! Pro tip: the gorgeous egg foam can be refreshed with an espresso shot if you choose (for extra $$ of course( so you can savor every bit of it! read more

Came in to grab a quick coffee while in the area. clean and modern on the inside. line moved quickly. The vietnamese coffeee was quite small and was gone within 4 sips so that was disappointing but it was very good and well balanced. bathroom was shared with the pho place next door. 2 stalls with large gaps along the side. super small stalls making uncomfortable. definitely need an upgrade on these. staff was working quickly and not very sociable. since I came for the coffee and really enjoyed it overall, i'm giving them a 4 but a few tweaks could really take it up a notch. read more

i loved the mango matcha latte, although it was slightly too sweet. like most matcha places, i feel like the ratio of milk overpowers the matcha a bit but it was still very delicious. my friend got the regular matcha latte with no ice and it only came half full, they told her beforehand tho. she liked the matcha quality! read more

The ambiance was nice and very cute for a coffee date spot. The matcha coco cloud was light and refreshing. The Hanoi Egg Coffee was strong and decadent. Went to their grand opening today and, while the matcha hype is very very real and there was quite the crowd, the drink that I got didn't live up to what I was hoping for. Now let me say, the inside is very cute and spacious, so it does have a good vibe. Didn't get the pw for the WiFi so can't speak to if it'd be a good place to work remotely, but the seating & decor was nice and calming. I got a standard matcha latte with oat milk. They sweeten it (unless you ask them not to), and make it upon order. However, due to it being the grand opening, it took about 20 min to order and then another 10 min to get my drink. The matcha was very earthy and less umami that I was hoping. Not very creamy, so maybe the other types (like the banana matcha) would even it out, but just for a simple matcha, this is not my fav place in town. read more

I went twice during their soft opening in the morning. I honestly didn't have to wait very long but both times I went at around 10:30 on a Sunday and brought work to do. The people here are very nice, it's genuinely a Vietnamese family owned business. I tried the saigon latte, coco mocha, matcha latte and the strawberry matcha. Saigon latte: 4/5, the flavors were solid but this thing is SOOO caffeinated in my opinion which isn't a bad thing but just a fair warning to everyone. I was wired wired from this drink Coco mocha: 1/5 would not recommend. It's just not my cup of tea.... I felt like the only flavor was coconut but that mixed with the coffee gave it a very bitter taste. Matcha latte: 3.5/5 not bad matcha but nothing crazy. Very basic Strawberry matcha: 4/5, need a straw for this because the strawberry purée is all at the bottom. The puree is actually really nice and fresh tasting!! Overall not a bad place to get some drinks and get some work done. It does get a bit loud so bring some headphones and the bathrooms are a little wonky (doors don't close properly and huge gaps but whatever). read more

Overall, good vibes. I liked the interior decorations. I felt like the banana matcha latte was a little too bland and I would have liked it if there was a little more banana flavor to the profile. I felt like it was more a matcha with whipped cream with a slight hint of banana. The banana chips at the top were a great addition, but felt like that was the only part that indicated it was banana flavored. I asked the owner for the best matcha and this was her recommendation. Maybe I was too hyped up and had too much of a high expectation. The saigon latte coffee was very strong and would be a great option for coffee lovers. read more

It is an open coffee shop near ACC. I got the Saigon latte and it has no taste of coffee; it is a very watered-down espresso shot. Service needs to be better. From the time I got my receipt to getting my drink was about 30 minutes. While I waited, there were one or two people who just gave up and left. They don't have an order of how to make the drinks; they skip people over due to the pressure of people asking where their drinks are, and it just confuses the drink order process. They also should move to a number system to speed things up instead of manually writing down people's names, as I can see they were having issues saying certain names or even spelling them, and now they have extra drinks waiting for people. They offered to give me someone else's drink because it was taking a while, but I said that wasn't my name (they did this twice). The inside is spacious, but your voice will carry here and there, and there is no sound damping here. Another reason to move to a number system since no one is going to hear their name. Hopefully, they learn during their month-long soft opening soon, as they are right next to ACC, and school is starting soon. There will be a bigger rush. read more

This place is so nice!! It used to be Feng Cha but Dam coffee took over and remodeled it and it looks amazing. The owner was really nice and attentive. The space is so spacious and there are lots of outlets for you to study/work. It's on ACC campus and there is a parking garage right behind the store with lots of parking spaces. I got their Matchanana, which is a matcha latte with banana cold foam and whole milk, and the drink was perfectly sweet! The matcha taste comes through and the banana foam does not overpower the matcha at all. They hand-whisk their matcha per order so it can take a bit but the quality is top tier. There are about 3-4 Asian coffee shops in the area but in my opinion, this place makes the best matcha drinks! I will definitely come back to try other drinks and also the coffee. Austin has been booming with Viet Coffee places and I'm glad I got to try this place! Located on ACC Highland campus, it's such a great spot for a pick me up. Very limited seats, so I didn't get to sit down... it was super crowded! But for the small work space behind the register, they were pretty efficient. Coffee was very strong and balanced. read more

WOW. Best matcha einspanner I've ever had. The foam is so incredibly rich and tastes so different from the other cream tops I've had. I wasn't exactly used to the thickness as the top is more of a whipped cream, but once I mixed it with the matcha a bit it became the perfect texture. Please don't change a thing. Genuinely so good. read more

I haven't tried the coffee here so cannot speak about that. However, I am a big fan of their strawberry matcha latte. It is so creamy, milky, and decadent. I have also tried their pistachio foam/topping and it was absolutely delightful, rich in pistachio flavor. The atmosphere is also welcoming here, perfect place to do work. Very friendly staff and quick service. Convenient parking garage nearby. Definitely give them a try! read more

One of my favorite spots I visited in Austin! It's the perfect work from home. The drinks were amazing - I'm a matcha girly and it's by far one of the best that I've had. I came for the egg coffee and stayed for the ambiance. I enjoyed the drink and ended up working at the cafe for a couple hours. The music wasn't too loud to work with.
