Holiday was my favorite bar of 2025. I was here probably once a week on average. The bartenders are some of the nicest you will find in all of Austin and they consistently make outstanding drinks. Everyone working here is attentive and quick to make sure you have your food and drinks. The most popular drink is the frozen Mexican Martini. They are delicious! The food is very good, and consistent too. I am a shrimp cocktail girly, my friends sometimes wonder if I'm a damn flamingo with all the shrimp I eat and Holiday serves them up perfectly. Other favorites are the bar nuts (sweet and lightly spicy), the marinated olives, the manchego, and I know my husband loves the burger. Holiday is the perfect spot to relax in a chic environment for happy hour or dinner. Be sure to check out the art which is created by some of the employees who are also artists!

Came here for the frozen Mexican martini -- and it did not disappoint! I absolutely love this place. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and when the weather's nice, the outside area is definitely the place to be. The staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient, and they have a great happy hour Tuesday through Saturday from 5-6 p.m. with specials on drinks and apps. On Sundays, martinis are half-price -- yes, please! The food is tasty, the drinks are delicious, and the overall vibe is warm and welcoming. Plus, it's dog-friendly, which is always a huge bonus. Had such a great time here -- can't wait to come back!

Love this spot! Super cute interior and exterior sitting spaces, great atmosphere, good parking. I went on a Wednesday night for the $15 happy meal special and it was so good! Very busy at 7:30pm but it cleared out by the world we left.

I came here for a Taylor Swift "The Life of a Showgirl" release party hosted by Morgan of Loud Tall Marketing. I had also volunteered earlier in the day to serve as unofficial event photographer, so was very excited by the whole opportunity/experience. I had never been to Holiday Bar before, but best believe I'll be back for dates and girl's nights out now that I've had a taste! Our event was located in the back patio, which wasn't obvious for newcomers after you enter the building. I only knew I was headed in the right direction after seeing the turquoise & orange balloons through the back door. The decor and seating was perfect - my server Lydia took care of me the whole evening and was also so attentive to her other tables. I got the mocktail, cavatelli, and later added the olive oil cake (despite not being listed on the event specific menu). I was getting peckish near the last part of the night and Lydia was happy to offer me something. Though I had exhausted my alcohol amount for the day, the drinks other ladies had looked amazing!

Drinks and food were a little pricey, however, this was one of the best burgers I've had in Austin so far. The drinks were also strong and the patio area is so cute.

Great little date night spot! Had to dock a star bc my boy did not feel well after getting the trout dip :/ I'm hoping it was just a one off thing. Otherwise, service was good, loved the ambiance, and they had some fun cocktails we enjoyed!

I loved this place!! It was so cute and the food was absolutely exceptional. It is an expensive, but if you had a special occasion it is a perfect spot. I believe our meal was truly made during to our amazing server, Mitchell. He gave us tons of recommendations and made our table feel cared for as he checked in frequently.

I am very impressed with Holiday on 7th! I first tried their bites in the VIP section of Austin Food and Wine Fest. The carrot croquette was incredible! I then went to try more of their apps at Flourish wine bar's special happy hour event. I tried their rosemary pecans, truffle deviled eggs, and smoked trout dip with fried crackers all paired with wines from the Flourish wine list. Every bite was so good and paired amazing with the wines selected. My fiance and I finally made it in to the restaurant for late night bites and loved our experience. I had a dirty martini and Scott had the coquito from the Christmas menu. We seated ourselves, but service was prompt. I ordered the truffled deviled eggs again (3 halves in an order) and the carrot croquettes (3 in an order). My guest ordered the wagyu burger with fries. We really loved every bite and sip. 10/10 local restaurant. I just learned they have half off martinis on Sundays so I will definitely be back for that soon! Update to my draft- we took my parents while in town for New Years Eve and we all LOVED everything! I tried the ricotta cavatelli in a pumpkin seed pesto and wowowow so good. They loved the burgers and the cavatelli as well. I also ordered the bar nuts that I am addicted to and the truffle deviled eggs. Our server brought complimentary bubbles for the holiday and they had party hats on the tables. Very cute and festive. They also had the best jello shots ever. My new spot!

We went Sunday night for all night martini happy hour! We absolutely loved it. It was amazing - everything we ordered was delicious. Lychee martini is my favorite - I could drink 5 The zucchini fritters were perfect, the sauce they come with pairs so well and the fritters have a great crunch. I ordered the cavatelli pasta with pesto - truly one of my favorite pastas lately! The pasta itself is amazing, but the pesto id also one of my favorites. My husband got the smash burger and said it was one of his favorites as well and we've tried a couple around town! We finished with the olive oil cake - a must order!! Cane is perfectly cooked and the nuts and cream on the side pair amazingly. Service was quick, food came out in less than 30 minutes for everything besides dessert of course. The interior is super cute and they have a pretty big patio! We will definitely be returning, one of our favorite places now!! The perfect first time experience honestly!

Double cheeseburger and fries

This place was busy on a Friday night. Inside was packed, so we sat outside on the patio. They have lots of fans and misters, so the temperature wasn't bad at all. They did a great job of replenishing our table's water bottle whenever we emptied it. My Spring Fling was delicious, and an unusual cocktail, being made with carrot juice. The double cheeseburger was delicious as were the fries. I liked the heat that the grilled jalapeños gave the burger. Yum!

Miso Tahini Kale Salad

This is the perfect happy hour spot if you are craving fries or a frozen margarita - they do both perfectly! I believe it is until 6 PM on weekdays and on Sunday as well. If you are looking for a healthier option, I really enjoyed the kale salad. The ambience is amazing with cute decor and ample indoor or outdoor seating. Seating is open and a waiter come find you to order!

Such a cute bar and restaurant with a cozy, stylish vibe that makes it perfect for a casual night out or a date. The craft cocktails are definitely the highlight. A great spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or kick off the night with some quality drinks!

French fries with buttermilk aïoli

I went here with a friend and we had so much fun! We shared french fries along with the risotto and got the olive oil cake at the end. You absolutely absolutely must get the olive oil cake if you go here!! Honestly part of me feels like I should just go there right now and get the olive oil cake again because it is so so so good. It's sweet, but then there's also some salt which works so well with the sweetness. On top of it there is fluffy whipped cream that made it so perfect! Of course, the rest of the food was also great. The buttermilk aïoli tasted so good with the french fries. The risotto was also super unique. I loved the hazelnuts with it. Their drinks were also really good as well. Honestly, I went with a friend, but this place would be so cute for a date night. The ambience gave desert vibes but also was kind of modern and sleek. The service was also good. Everyone was really nice. I definitely want to go here again because we had so much fun!

I felt the vibe instantly, like as soon as I put one foot in the door. Magical, sophisticated, worldly, wonderful and more were the feelings that spontaneously hit me. The dark and elegant decor, lighting, design, & layout made me feel as though I were in a high-end Tokyo cocktail lounge. The front room as I mentioned is an intimate bar and lounge area with artwork adorning the walls. It's a modern, minimalist, and sleek space. The artwork is ever-changing (every couple of months or so) and the cocktail menu changes right long with it. Note: artwork is available for purchase. What an absolutely glorious way of combining different mediums (liquid art vs physical art). The craft cocktails & mocktails are the epitome of works of art. I've had great cocktails and mocktails elsewhere but honestly I'd be hard pressed to find anything on this level. You're taken into an entirely different realm just watching the genius of mixologists. It's mesmerizing watching them hone their craft. In the back of the lounge is an enclave of eclectic art and other pieces that then leads you to Konbini, the sushi bar. It's an industrial, warehouse vibe with a long counter that screams hip, Tokyo inspired, late-night eatery. Service is impeccable and welcoming at this cosmopolitan venue. It's truly an amazing experience.

I was pretty bothered by my experience here. Even aside from their mid drinks, it felt like we were constantly chasing down servers and they were only attentive when they needed something from us. We went to the photobooth to take pictures before we sat down, but the machine ate my money and broke down. I let a server know, and he came back and said he would comp $20 off of our meal, which I was happy about. I honestly only wanted them to refund me my $10 for the photobooth strip. However, they came back a few minutes later and gave us a photo card and told us to use it to pay for the photobooth and it could be used an unlimited amount of times. I was also happy with this solution, but what happened afterwards left a bad taste in my friends' and my mouth. We hadn't gotten menus or been asked what we wanted to order yet. We were just waiting around for drink menus and food menus, so we didn't want to get up and go take photos when they might come back to take our orders. The manager (?) came back to me a few minutes later and asked if we had taken photos yet, and I let him know that we were waiting to be given menus. He said someone else would give us menus, and another server gave us only a drink menu. A few minutes later, we are still waiting for food menus. The same manager came back and asked us to not lose the photo card. At this point, we were frustrated. Why come back constantly to ask for a photo card when we haven't even been given our food or our menus yet? When we finally got our food, a different server asked if we had given back the photo card yet. They were so pressed about getting this photo card back and not actually getting our orders, and we also thought it was a bit distasteful to offer a solution (the $20 off the meal) but then go back on it with the photo card. It was presented as "unlimited" swipes but we were rushed to give the card back, and realistically, we only had enough time to take one set of photos. The drinks themselves were truly just okay. I don't think any of us were particularly impressed with our drinks, but the interior of Papercut is really nice and intimate.

THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here to catch up with a buddy that enjoys wine as much as I do. Starting off, we got a glass of Aubry brut 1er cru glass. Nice, acidic, and bubbly. What I expect out of champagne. We got a philippe jouan (aka pinot noir) bottle which was so delicious. For food, we got the baguette and a egg confit dish that was divine. Then wrapping up, we got a single glass of produttori del barbaresco and capellano barolo. These were super old wines from the 80s and boy were they screaming tertiary notes. Awesome experience. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, we spent around $270 for a bottle of pinot noir, two glasses of really old wine and a sneak peek bite of their tasting menu. Will be back to try more wines and food.

The Scarlett crab was soo good and added the perfect amount of saltiness and sweetness to the comforting soup! For our mains, we got the duck which had a delicious hoisin sauce. While I enjoyed the bok choy I felt it could have a better accompaniment. We also got the salmon which had a smaller portion, but was unique in its taste and execution. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot, but do be aware that the menu is small when ordering ala carte but each item is executed thoroughly well!

The food was incredibly creative while still feeling approachable and shareable. Every dish felt thoughtful and unique without being overcomplicated. One of those menus where you immediately want to order more just to try everything. The atmosphere is also part of what makes it special.
