Lolo quickly became our go to spot for a good glass of wine. We know that they'll always have a banging selection of wines at the bar and bottles for sale. The staff can always help point you in the right direction and are super nice. Some of the glasses can be $16+, which is why I also love that they have the "house" selections for under $10, which are also always good. We've even been part of the LoLo wine club which id recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about wine, and you get a cute tote bag, a win win. Depending on the day we will hang out inside or outside, both equally enjoyable. It's always a nice time at LoLo!
Not a big wine drinker but was basically recommend-told to come here by a friend who was visiting. I kept it in my back pocket until I managed to get an early day from work and decided to head down. In addition to wines they have packaged beers. I am usually a beer drinker but I ended up with a Sangria; I like wine and fruit, what can I say? I enjoyed it, even though I'm not a frequent wine drinker. I also was feeling a little buzzed so-time for some food! They have a very limited food menu and so the only thing that appealed to both of us was the baguette and Spanish olive oil. The olive oil was flavorful and spicy, it was fresh and flavorful and GOOD. The majority of olive oils I've had as an accompaniment to bread has been just...moist. Staff was friendly and approachable, and nowhere near snooty or pretentious.
Have been here a few times since I left my first review and I still love this spot but their house wines have not been very good recently. They all have a bad rubbing alcohol taste to them. Hope they can improve this soon!
What a quaint place. Came during the week close to 5:30 ish so they weren't very busy. Got a seat at the bar and the bartender was pleasant and answered all of our questions. Their menu is primarily wine, they do have some beers not on the menu. Good wise, mostly snacking foods. So many wine options. The coolers behind the bar were stocked! I asked for an Albariño which wasn't available and a decent substitution was offered. The outside patio area was a surprise and would be great during the fall/spring when it's not a million degrees outside. I'd love to go back and do another roulette spin to find another new wine I enjoy.
Such a cute wine bar on the east side. I was looking for a pre-dinner drink while in the neighborhood and stumbled across this gem. Their indoor seating is limited but the main attraction is the patio. With ample seating, shade, and lots of fans (praise be) this is one of the best surprises of the city! I had an orange wine from California thanks to the recommendation from the bartender. If you went to take a bottle to go, they have quite a selection as well. They don't offer much food so keep that in mind. I sat on the patio and read a couple chapters of my book and had a lovely time. Overall, this is a stop I'd make again and recommend you to the same!
Lolo is an amazing bar! This was my first time trying the place and I will be back again with more friends! They serve natural wines and they also provide you with a tasting before you make a decision. The bartender Kendall was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and flavor profiles! Wonderful service and a very friendly and welcoming environment for everyone! I ordered a glass of Rose and it was fruit forward and did not disappoint! There's also parking onsite!

They only had four wines to choose from, if you're choosing which be by the glass. One of the choices had developed a flaw due to its lack of sulfites for preservatives, since it was an organic wine. But they were still serving it, and charging $16 a glass for it. One of the choices was Mencia, which is more of a wine to accompany food than a sipping wine. The other two were pretty much tasteless. We got the Mencia, since the nice bartender had already poured tastes for us. We did enjoy sitting outside in the chill area out back, which was the highlight of the visit. I would recommend, though, don't stop by for a glass, get a bottle (I'm guessing it's the only way to get something decent).
Lolo's was very cute and the more laid back vibe stands out from other places on East 6th. We asked about their bottle options and were given 3 choices ranging around $45-70. The server was very knowledgeable and easygoing.
it's been a while since i was here, but i need to recollect and cherish how wonderful it was. right from the onset, the service was friendly and so laid back, exactly what austin is famed for. thanks for living up to the hospitality and friendliness, y'all! they helped me select a funky wavy wines skin contact wine, and i got a little plate of red peppers (who has two thumbs and no acid reflux problems, this guy) to give me a little something to snack on. thoroughly enjoyed chilling on the back patio and people watching and journaling, watching the storm clouds roll past. can't beat it
Very cute wine spot tucked away amongst the crazy bar scene on E 6th. LOTS of different wine selections with indoor and outdoor (dog friendly) seating. They do have a snack menu but I wouldn't say it's a full entree type place. My friend and I got the cheeseboard and pretzel- both were very good.
We were in the area so we decided to check lolo's out. It's got a great vibe with a lively outdoor area. The bartenders are extremely helpful. I recommended trying a few wines before settling on which one you'd want to lounge with! I tried an Argentinian specialty which was red wine with coke & a sprits of lemon. Personally.. I found it to be okay. It had slight resemblance to sangria but not fully. It's a great spot to go with friends for a fun evening! Check them out!
Serving backyard-style outdoor drinking vibes, this place has a nice selection of off-the-beaten-path wines that tend to be biodynamic or otherwise natural. I checked it out last night and we were seated pretty quickly. For a wine bar, the wines by the glass list is a tad-limited (2 per wine variety) although there are many tens of varieties by the bottle. The backyard is set-up for live music although there was no such performance when I visited. Service was a tad haphazard but otherwise, friendly. I think they are a little understaffed right now but that's understandable.
Always an amazing time at LoLos. Everyone is always super helpful, kind, and great pourers. Would highly recommend for your natural wine needs and/or an intimate night out. The back deck is cozy and cute, but if you want a seat inside make sure to bring your patience because it gets packed quickly on the weekends.

Very racist but good wine. I wanted to love the place because it's near my house but, because my color I felt targeted. There was one Hispanic bartender and he was kind but, the white bartender, as a hispanic woman I did not feel comfortable. They have a wall of wine, and after two hours of casually sitting there and finally building up the courage to take pics, he told me to get away and sit down before I break a bottle because "you'll have to pay for it" . Even though we had already bought two bottles, a couple glasses AND a bite to eat. If you are Latina: stay away because welcome is not what you are. read more

We had a blast here! I've been on a natural wine kick and if you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend it. We came in on a perfect, cool night and played some games on the patio for hours. I only took one pic because I was just having a great time, but the atmosphere outdoors was great and the staff was friendly and really helpful so don't be shy if you don't know much about natural wine! read more
We needed a natural wine bar in Austin and I'm thrilled there is one not far from my house! Go in and order by the glass or pick a bottle from their huge selection of natural wines. Don't want to sit inside? Head on back and enjoy a spot in their massive backyard! They've got covered and uncovered seating and I'm here for the vibe. Not sure what kind of wine to get? Ask one of the somms - they're happy to help! Hungry? They've got cheese plates, chips, any yummy fish selection (like you get in Spain). I'm obsessed and can't wait to go back! read more

I love this place! The staff helped me pick my perfect bottle and didn't recommend anything too over the top or out of my price range. They have lots of fun events and tastings going on most of the time, and it's a great place to hang out and split a bottle (or two) among friends. read more

My boyfriend and I heard good things about the wine list here and their DJ sets + chill music. Both lived up to the hype. The menu is catered to contemporary trends in taste so probably not the best spot if you're looking to please a conservative palette. The service was relaxed and friendly. I'd recommend it for group hangouts or dates. The patio was covered and there are fans throughout so it doesn't get too hot. Lastlyyyyy, the seating is communal so be prepared to engage in polite banter with strangers! read more

Finally an adorable wine bar on the east side! With an ample selection of wine and a friendly knowledgable staff, this spot is definitely worth putting on any "go-to" list. Perfect for day drinking, a cute first date, or "work remotely" - LoLo provides a much need stylish wine bar atmosphere that the east side has been craving! Would update to 5 stars if they had a happy hour...That being said prices are relatively reasonable, this lovely rose pictured was $30. read more
What a happy surprise! I wasn't really sure to expect since I couldn't find a whole lot of info on LoLo online so I arrived with zero expectations. What an adorable place! So many little disco balls and colorful lights hanging all over the patio. I don't know anything about wine and I had never been to a wine bar before so it was nice to have such friendly staff help us make a choice that suited our preferences. I don't remember the exact name of what we bottle we got but it was perfect. My only -slight- complaint is that the music can get a tad too loud at times. I would love to come back in the future! read more
