Patio

Such a cute wine bar on the east side. I was looking for a pre-dinner drink while in the neighborhood and stumbled across this gem. Their indoor seating is limited but the main attraction is the patio. With ample seating, shade, and lots of fans (praise be) this is one of the best surprises of the city! I had an orange wine from California thanks to the recommendation from the bartender. If you went to take a bottle to go, they have quite a selection as well. They don't offer much food so keep that in mind. I sat on the patio and read a couple chapters of my book and had a lovely time. Overall, this is a stop I'd make again and recommend you to the same!

I love this bar! Came here for the first time the other night with some friends and we all had such a nice time here. The bartenders were super kind and the house wine specials were great. I thought that it was pretty reasonably priced here and such a cute vibe inside with nice seating. I would definitely recommend for a more intimate night out!

Lolo is an amazing bar! This was my first time trying the place and I will be back again with more friends! They serve natural wines and they also provide you with a tasting before you make a decision. The bartender Kendall was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and flavor profiles! Wonderful service and a very friendly and welcoming environment for everyone! I ordered a glass of Rose and it was fruit forward and did not disappoint! There's also parking onsite!

We came in to have just a glass of wine, because as visitors from the Houston area, we were planning to try a cocktail bar next. They only had four wines to choose from, if you're choosing which be by the glass. One of the choices had developed a flaw due to its lack of sulfites for preservatives, since it was an organic wine. But they were still serving it, and charging $16 a glass for it. One of the choices was Mencia, which is more of a wine to accompany food than a sipping wine. The other two were pretty much tasteless. We got the Mencia, since the nice bartender had already poured tastes for us. We did enjoy sitting outside in the chill area out back, which was the highlight of the visit. I would recommend, though, don't stop by for a glass, get a bottle (I'm guessing it's the only way to get something decent).

Lolo's was very cute and the more laid back vibe stands out from other places on East 6th. We asked about their bottle options and were given 3 choices ranging around $45-70. The server was very knowledgeable and easygoing.

it's been a while since i was here, but i need to recollect and cherish how wonderful it was. right from the onset, the service was friendly and so laid back, exactly what austin is famed for. thanks for living up to the hospitality and friendliness, y'all! they helped me select a funky wavy wines skin contact wine, and i got a little plate of red peppers (who has two thumbs and no acid reflux problems, this guy) to give me a little something to snack on. thoroughly enjoyed chilling on the back patio and people watching and journaling, watching the storm clouds roll past. can't beat it

Very cute wine spot tucked away amongst the crazy bar scene on E 6th. LOTS of different wine selections with indoor and outdoor (dog friendly) seating. They do have a snack menu but I wouldn't say it's a full entree type place. My friend and I got the cheeseboard and pretzel- both were very good.

We were in the area so we decided to check lolo's out. It's got a great vibe with a lively outdoor area. The bartenders are extremely helpful. I recommended trying a few wines before settling on which one you'd want to lounge with! I tried an Argentinian specialty which was red wine with coke & a sprits of lemon. Personally.. I found it to be okay. It had slight resemblance to sangria but not fully. It's a great spot to go with friends for a fun evening! Check them out!

Always an amazing time at LoLos. Everyone is always super helpful, kind, and great pourers. Would highly recommend for your natural wine needs and/or an intimate night out. The back deck is cozy and cute, but if you want a seat inside make sure to bring your patience because it gets packed quickly on the weekends.

Instant favorite. Great wine, people and vibe. First time to LoLo and were greeted by a super friendly, super knowledgeable wine host. Lots of great choices. We will be back.

We had a blast here! I've been on a natural wine kick and if you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend it. We came in on a perfect, cool night and played some games on the patio for hours. I only took one pic because I was just having a great time, but the atmosphere outdoors was great and the staff was friendly and really helpful so don't be shy if you don't know much about natural wine!

Serving backyard-style outdoor drinking vibes, this place has a nice selection of off-the-beaten-path wines that tend to be biodynamic or otherwise natural. I checked it out last night and we were seated pretty quickly. For a wine bar, the wines by the glass list is a tad-limited (2 per wine variety) although there are many tens of varieties by the bottle. The backyard is set-up for live music although there was no such performance when I visited. Service was a tad haphazard but otherwise, friendly. I think they are a little understaffed right now but that's understandable.

Very cute outdoor seating! Enjoying their wine. Wine was unique with fun labels. Really enjoyed La Charge - a sweet bubbly wine. A nice hangout spot

Very simple and chill wine bar for a casual night with friends, or with a book alone to be honest.

I felt the vibe instantly, like as soon as I put one foot in the door. Magical, sophisticated, worldly, wonderful and more were the feelings that spontaneously hit me. The dark and elegant decor, lighting, design, & layout made me feel as though I were in a high-end Tokyo cocktail lounge. The front room as I mentioned is an intimate bar and lounge area with artwork adorning the walls. It's a modern, minimalist, and sleek space. The artwork is ever-changing (every couple of months or so) and the cocktail menu changes right long with it. Note: artwork is available for purchase. What an absolutely glorious way of combining different mediums (liquid art vs physical art). The craft cocktails & mocktails are the epitome of works of art. I've had great cocktails and mocktails elsewhere but honestly I'd be hard pressed to find anything on this level. You're taken into an entirely different realm just watching the genius of mixologists. It's mesmerizing watching them hone their craft. In the back of the lounge is an enclave of eclectic art and other pieces that then leads you to Konbini, the sushi bar. It's an industrial, warehouse vibe with a long counter that screams hip, Tokyo inspired, late-night eatery. Service is impeccable and welcoming at this cosmopolitan venue. It's truly an amazing experience.

So this is the fifth menu since opening? How fun! Tried the Key Lime drink which was too damn delicious. Tasted like a damn dessert and went down too easy. Only food I tried was the Tofu Chip which was delicious as well. Also got the Milky drink and it went down just as smoothly. All in all great place, just popped in for my second time in the past three days. The vibe was chill and laid back. Dim lighting and good music.

THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here to catch up with a buddy that enjoys wine as much as I do. Starting off, we got a glass of Aubry brut 1er cru glass. Nice, acidic, and bubbly. What I expect out of champagne. We got a philippe jouan (aka pinot noir) bottle which was so delicious. For food, we got the baguette and a egg confit dish that was divine. Then wrapping up, we got a single glass of produttori del barbaresco and capellano barolo. These were super old wines from the 80s and boy were they screaming tertiary notes. Awesome experience. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, we spent around $270 for a bottle of pinot noir, two glasses of really old wine and a sneak peek bite of their tasting menu. Will be back to try more wines and food.

The restaurant is small, but has a ton of character! I highly recommend getting a reservation. We started off with kanpachi crudo which had a delicous ponzu sauce and some extra sweetness from the melon balls! We then had the Vichyssoise, which I would say was my favorite bite of the evening! The Scarlett crab was soo good and added the perfect amount of saltiness and sweetness to the comforting soup! For our mains, we got the duck which had a delicious hoisin sauce. While I enjoyed the bok choy I felt it could have a better accompaniment. We also got the salmon which had a smaller portion, but was unique in its taste and execution. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot, but do be aware that the menu is small when ordering ala carte but each item is executed thoroughly well!
