    Caviar toast & orange wine
    Leland L.

Probably my fav spot I visited in Austin! We waited an hour plus for a table but it was well worth it. The patio vibes are amazing. We each got a glass of the orange wine and split a few dishes. The steak frites was INCREDIBLE and cooked perfectly. Also loved the caviar toast!! Such an enjoyable place and feels very local and neighborly.

This was my favorite meal in all of Austin! The food was delicious, the wine was amazing, the patio superb, and the staff friendly! It was so worth the wait! We got the steak frites, caviar toast and orange wine! All so great! The patio was the perfect spot for a fun evening!

Stopped by Tuesday night around 6 pm for paella night and it was packed! We missed happy hour from until 6 pm I believe (possibly 5-6?) for half off spritz's But I did try the Hugo spritz and it was delicious!! Paella is $32 a person with a side of bread included Both amazing!! Loved eating the paella with the bread on the side The plate is a good portion size but still on the pricier side Beautiful small interior Mainly bar seating inside and plenty of outdoor seating but still a cute small spot

Cute place. Went after the holiday weekend and was able to get a seat. Inside, there is bar seating and there are little round tables set up outside (European cafe vibe). A couple of the tables have umbrellas for shade. We ordered a couple appetizers to snack on with our cocktails. Yes, they have a couple cocktail options, but a larger wine selection hence wine bar. For cocktails, hop over next door to Howard's. It's also a cute bar... and owned by the same people. The appetizers and drinks were good. The service was not great given that it was not very busy. I'm glad that I got to at least give it a try. As other reviewers have stated, it does get busy from what I have seen from passing by and do expect to spend.

Well, one year later, I came back and finally made it for paella night again and let me just tell you it is still as phenomenal as it was the first time. I know I've read that people complain about the seating and not having tables available. They do explain to you online to get their way in advance for time so you can get a table because they do not take reservations for this. I personally arrive at 5:00 PM since they start cooking at 5:30 PM and then by 6:00 PM it is ready to get served and it is amazing. Also, they have an amazing happy hour from 5 PM to 7 PM so you can enjoy this while waiting for your paella and with appetizers as well. Yes, the place is small but it is adorable and the staff is great as always.

    Paella night on Tuesdays

Pro tip: Paella night on Tuesdays. Make sure to schedule a reservation as they do two sittings on the patio, one at 6 PM and one at 7:30 PM. Limited space at the bar for walk-ins. Probably the best paella I've found in town. While expensive, $34 per plate, and the plate is not large, but sufficient, the flavors are wonderful with a nice soccarat. Mussels, clams, shrimp, sausage, and chicken in the mix. A piece of toasted and buttered bread is served to start. Pairs well with a good Spanish Txakoli wine, and the Basque cheesecake to wrap up the experience.

My friend and I had been seeing Rosie's all over Instagram lately and decided to go for Tuesday paella on the patio. We found free street parking nearby in the Align parking lot (just a few spots and only free after 5pm). We put our name down at 5:30 and our table was ready at 7pm. In the meantime, we went Nextdoor to Howard's for a drink (owned by the same people). We were seated at a little table on the patio by the windows, and thank goodness because shortly after, it started pouring with rain. We were protected by the awning, but so many other tables had to scramble for cover. The paella is cooked outside, so they had to figure out an alternative, too. Despite all the chaos, everything was delicious! We each ordered paella ($32/person, and although the plate is small, they really pile it on there), the anchovies, and the jamón and manchego toast. The paella came with pan con tomate, which tasted mostly like garlic bread (and to be honest, I didn't see or taste tomato on it). Nevertheless, it was tasty! We each ordered a glass of wine to go with the meal and finished the night with a slice of basque cheesecake (sadly not pictured). All in all, with tip it came out to $158. Service was very attentive, and the ambiance was great, minus the rain! I would definitely come back and would recommend this to others, just be aware it is on the pricey side.

Love it here especially on a night where temperatures are cool and comfortable. Small bar seating inside but tons of table seating outside on the cute patio. Huge wine selection and knowledgeable stuff. I love coming for their winter fondue nights. So fun!!

What a lovely date night spot! Their wines are delicious and they even have amazing n/a wines too. The Spanish snacks looked delicious but we had already had dinner. Next time we're definitely going to dig into the hams and charcuterie!

One cold day on a trip to Austin, my husband and I wanted to have a glass of wine. We stopped in at Rosie's which was kind of hard to find. One there, we realized how small this place was. There was outdoor seating but got a chilly night we headed inside. Luckily there was a couple seats by the window bar. It was very dark (you have to use your cellphone to read the menu) and the music was pretty loud from a speaker over our heads. Everyone seemed very nice. The wine was good, but not as much variety as I expected. We ordered a cheese board (I wish I had gotten a pic). It was okay. Not sure I would go back anytime soon.

Rosie's is THE cutest wine bar I've been to in Austin so far and it's a 5/5 for that alone. It transports you to Europe with its charming cobblestone patio covered with string lights and surrounded with white flowers in red planters. The inside seating is just as quaint as the outside. We came on a girls night and it was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and catch up. It's really a place you can sit chatting for hours! For a glass of wine, it's pricey with $14 being the cheapest option and the red wine I selected wasn't my favorite, although my own selection could be to blame. However, it's honestly worth the ambiance and I'd love to come back to try another glass and some of the small plates & dessert as well!

The paella night was ok, we had lots of charred/burnt pieces in our food, I think it was the bottom of the pan.

Rating: 3.1/5 We…read moretried The Austin Winery on two different occasions, and both times their wine was just okay or not good. The first time was a wine flight we had catered at our apartment, while the second time, we visited in person with a group of friends. Honestly, the wines we buy from Costco taste better. We did the $20 wine tasting flight where you get to choose 3 from the menu. The pros are that it's cheap and they give generous pours, but the con is that the wines don't taste good. Thank goodness I shared with my husband because I wouldn't have been able to finish it myself. 1. Picpoul Blanc: One Elm Vineyards - High Plains white wine with notes of lemongrass, pink lemonade, and raspberry. It was okay. 2. Aqua Pazza - High Plains/High Country orange wine with notes of apricot, candied lemon, and orange zest. It tasted like a bitter citrus wine and was our least favorite of the wines we tried. 3. GSM: Salt Lick Vineyards - Hill Country chilled red wine with notes of mint berry crunch and herbal. I think we prefer non-chilled red wine, since the tannins were super muted, but the cold temperature does make it more enjoyable on a hot day. Lavender Haze ($15): This is a wine cocktail made with Ocho, lemon, lavender simple syrup, topped with Rambler, and garnished with a lemon wheel. Ocho is a Salt Lick Vineyards - Hill Country white wine with soft lychee, beeswax, and freshly minted bills. It's a light and bright wine cocktail that's great for an afternoon drink. Bread With Oil & Balsamic Reduction ($6): You definitely need to dip the bread in the balsamic reduction; otherwise, the bread is just so bland by itself. Recommend getting the shareables instead, since the bread doesn't really add anything to the wine tasting. Our friends got the charcuterie, and the meat, cheese, and fig really helped us get through the wine flight.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.

Their food is also pretty decent, but I primarily go there for the drinks. Gotta get my wraps done before it actually closes down because I still don't know how to stay around
