Some friends took us here for a birthday celebration, taking a chance because they'd never been there either. What a find! Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course. read more

My hubs chose Rosé Gosé for my Mother's Day brunch location. In full transparency, choosing a restaurant is not his jam. However, today major shout out to the hubs. Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. Really love going to rosé goes! I think everybody in town knows their service is not the best and that's not what they're known for but their cocktails are by far my favorite in all of Austin. Their drink number seven, which is basically a Yuzu gin sour is literally my favorite drink and all of Austin and still continues to be that way. I met a friend for an early dinner here one weekend at the end of July here and we had a really nice time. It wasn't too crowded so we got to pick our table. The waiter was really nice and gave me some tasters of their wine to help me select the one I wanted and their little taster glasses are very cute! He didn't have a lot of experience with the wines so he checked with the bartender regarding recs and I ended up with one I enjoyed. I got one of their salmon bowls which was very tasty. There is a private parking lot and they take reservations. I went for brunch and had their eggs Benedict with salmon, which was decent, but not out of this world. To drink I had the raspberry raf coffee which I really liked. The raspberry really comes through as a flavor, so if you don't like sweeter tasting coffee don't get this, although it's not overly sweet. read more

Great place to grab a glass of wine with friends for brunch or dinner. They have a huge wine selection and a few beers plus a full bar. But also a very unique and healthy menu with dishes like salmon steak and poke bowls and the beef tartare. The homemade pasta carbonara is fantastic too, but it's the light dishes poke that will have me coming back and making a detour when I might have been craving a less healthy burger or hotdog at the restaurant nextdoor. I made a reservation on Open Table for a little birthday HH. It was a Tuesday around 4:30 pm and dead when I arrived, so probably would have been ok without a reservation lol but it filled up as the evening went on. They have HH Monday - Friday from 3 PM to 5:30 PM. 50% off cocktails and 25% off menu items. We started with some cocktails. An Espresso Martini(No.8) and Limoncello, Strawberries, Lemon Juice & Prosecco(No.12). Both were so elegantly presented. For food we shared the Truffle Pepperoni Pizza, Roasted Peppers with Stracciatella Cheese and Prosciutto, & the Rice Croquettes with Salmon and Wasabi Sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious. You can taste it's made with all fresh ingredients. I really love truffle and the taste of truffle was on the lighter side. I could have taken a bit more truffle flavor. I would definitely order everything again and maybe try a different pizza next time. We could only finish the roasted peppers dish and had leftovers of the other items. One perk of booking with Open Table is I selected we were celebrating a birthday. The waiter was so sweet and made note of this detail. Went during a quiet night on a weekday, really easy spot to get to with ample parking. I think this place is more suited for brunch or an afternoon meal rather than a dinner place based on what was on their menu at the time of our visit. I think the food was a little bit overpriced for what we ordered and the selection of red wine we could choose from was really thin which I thought was a bit odd since they have a whole section of wine in fridges and on shelves for purchase. Only came in for drinks on this easy late Sunday afternoon; the Amalfi and Lisbon cocktails were delicious! I'm not a fan of gin but I didn't even know it was there when I tried a sip of my husband's drink. The Christmas decor was still up so it was really cute and dainty! This place is so chic and aesthetically pleasing! We had the best time at brunch, what with the variety of food on the menu, great selection of coffee and drinks and the best servers. They were extremely accommodating to the needs of a fairly large group of ladies, taking orders as and when people arrived (at different times during the hour), bringing food with a smile and then allowing us to split the tab between 15 of us. They didn't even charge a mandatory service fee for large groups that's usually a standard for most restaurants nowadays. I would have gladly paid it, but tipped them well regardless. read more

Everything we ordered was delicious! It was all fresh, arrived quickly, and was light and flavorful. We left feeling full but not heavy which is always a win. I really enjoyed the non alcoholic cocktail. Sometimes it just tastes like you are drinking an overpriced juice but that's not the case with this cocktail! The flavors were refreshing and blended really well and tasted like an actual cocktail with their nonalcoholic sparkling wine that was added with orange, vanilla and passion fruit. There are a lot of raw options that I wasn't able to try because I'm pregnant but they looked delicious and I'll have to go back and try them at a different time. It was reasonably priced and the service was fast and attentive. The restaurant itself was adorable. I loved the vibe and the decor. There was seating available indoors and outdoors but we selected inside due to the heat. There's a small parking lot which is always a bonus in Austin. :) It's a place that you can go to casually or dress up and make it a little more fancy and both work. After being told there was a 1.5 hour wait at a different restaurant early on a Friday night I was scrambling for another place to have dinner. I'd heard of this restaurant a couple of times recently and found that they had reservations available about 15 minutes after I was looking so I decided to give them a try. We arrived ahead of the reservation time and we asked if we wanted to eat on their patio or inside. Given that it was a nice evening we took a two top table outside the patio. The relatively small was sheltered from the traffic and not too loud, we were brought dinner, wine, and cocktail menus shortly after we were seated along with water My companion wanted to try some red wine, but not knowing what she would like. She got to taste two different Cabernet Sauvignon before picking which one she wanted. I looked through their large and brightly, colorful house cocktail menu book which had several appealing options I went with the Amalfi, which sounded like a light sweet drink for the somewhat warm Friday night. Although several of the appetizers looked appealing, especially the burrata, neither of us thought we were hungry enough for both. So my companion ordered the salmon bowl and I ordered the pasta carbonara. We didn't have to wait too long for our food to come out and it was served warm. Both of us were very pleased with our dishes. My companion who spent some time in Italy was very impressed with the pasta carbonara as well as her own dish. I think this is a cute little restaurant that's good for a gathering of a group of friends or a date night. I look forward to returning and exploring more of the menu. read more

We came here with another couple we met through Yelp Elite for brunch. My husband couldn't figure out the theme for the menu. I explained to him, it's a fusion restaurant with all of the owner's favorite foods from different countries. I liked that they had gluten free options! The owner is Belarusian. The shakshouka was the best I've ever had. It was sweet, tangy, and not spicy. Maybe I prefer Belarusian shakshouka the most? It's frustrating to make a reservation through a platform they actively use, only to be turned away at the door. I genuinely never have a bad experience at rose gose. I brought a friend who had just moved back to Austin and never been, and we found they had upgraded their cocktail menu (same drinks, cuter names/look). I got the "Rome" cocktail (an aperol spritz with rosemary undertones), and my friend got the Vienna (a tangier drink, stronger alcohol flavor than mine, and also with rosemary undertones). She also ordered the bruschetta and red pepper appetizer which I sampled, and that was quite fun (and gluten free, as she has an allergy - they have lots of gluten free options). There is seating both inside the restaurant and outside on the patio area. The breakfast food options were really good, even though it was a smaller menu. They have options for what is eaten in different European countries and US States. The steak and eggs were a hit, as was the shakshuka. Flavorful and plentiful! The drink options were also a hit, as they were named and fashioned after different European countries and their "flavor palates". Rosé Gosé is a hidden gem of a brunch spot in Austin that's eclectic, and buzzing with good energy. Came here for brunch with friends and everything from the food to the cocktails was delicious. I ordered Plate 5 and it came out perfect. The ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the addition of poached eggs on top of the steak with the fries was absolute perfection. The salad was a nice touch for a refreshing bite between bites. One of my friends got the eggs benedict with beef tartare, and it was unlike any benedict I've seen before. Poached eggs with hollandaise sauce on beef tartare was a combo I never really imagined, but it looked amazing. The other went for the avocado toast with poached eggs, which was beautifully plated and generously topped. Creamy avocado, crunchy sourdough, and perfectly runny eggs made it feel fresh but still hearty. Bonus points for the bright herbs and chili oil drizzle. Me and my old college friend went here for brunch. Oh my goodness I love this restaurant so much. First of all it is so cute!! it is super cozy inside has a really artsy wine bar type of feel. The waitresses are so nice. They all coincidentally have beautiful accents and for some reason it makes the restaurant feel very exotic. The brunch menu is also exotic. In fact, they have little flags of the types of brunch that they serve. My friend got the plate three which had the French flag. It included goat cheese, Camembert, cheese, truffle butter, and a macaroon. I chose plate two, which had the California flag. It included, hummus, avocado, eggs, hashbrowns. The plates seem really simple, but they are perfectly fulfilling and you don't end up feeling over stuffed at the end. I especially loved the presentation, which is why I took so many pictures. If you go here, you have to try the cocktails. I am not normally an alcohol person. I tend to drink non-alcoholic beverages however this place has really great alcoholic options. Their drinks do not taste overwhelming and are still really fun. The limoncello which is the one that I got was so good! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place as a date night or just a fun place to go to. The food is really good. The service is really really good. The presentation of the food is really good.
