My hubs chose Rosé Gosé for my Mother's Day brunch location. In full transparency, choosing a restaurant is not his jam. However, today major shout to the hubs. Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last. read more

Really love going to rosé goes! I think everybody in town knows their service is not the best and that's not what they're known for but their cocktails are by far my favorite in all of Austin. Their drink number seven, which is basically a Yuzu gin sour is literally my favorite drink and all of Austin and still continues to be that way. Despite being short staffed they were very friendly and accommodating. Clean, open, airy atmosphere. Appreciated the non alcoholic drink options and lots of them! Nice presentation but some dishes were over salted with big chunks of maldon flakes, too overpowering for the delicate appetizer we ordered. To drink I had the raspberry raf coffee which I really liked. The raspberry really comes through as a flavor, so if you don't like sweeter tasting coffee don't get this, although it's not overly sweet. read more

I've had been wanting to visit Rose Gose for quiet some time now and so glad I finally made it! I absolutely love the decor. Artistic vibe yet homey at the same time. I made a reservation on Open Table for a little birthday HH. It was a Tuesday around 4:30 pm and dead when I arrived, so probably would have been ok without a reservation lol but it filled up as the evening went on. They have HH Monday - Friday from 3 PM to 5:30 PM. 50% off cocktails and 25% off menu items. We started with some cocktails. An Espresso Martini(No.8) and Limoncello, Strawberries, Lemon Juice & Prosecco(No.12). Both were so elegantly presented. For food we shared the Truffle Pepperoni Pizza, Roasted Peppers with Stracciatella Cheese and Prosciutto, & the Rice Croquettes with Salmon and Wasabi Sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious. You can taste it's made with all fresh ingredients. I really love truffle and the taste of truffle was on the lighter side. I could have taken a bit more truffle flavor. I would definitely order everything again and maybe try a different pizza next time. We could only finish the roasted peppers dish and had leftovers of the other items. One perk of booking with Open Table is I selected we were celebrating a birthday. The waiter was so sweet and made note of this detail. As we were finishing our meal and asked for the tab he said wait I have a little surprise for you all. He brought out a complimentary Pavlova with Sorbet dessert with a candle on top. Only came in for drinks on this easy late Sunday afternoon; the Amalfi and Lisbon cocktails were delicious! This place is so chic and aesthetically pleasing! We had the best time at brunch, what with the variety of food on the menu, great selection of coffee and drinks and the best servers. They were extremely accommodating to the needs of a fairly large group of ladies, taking orders as and when people arrived (at different times during the hour), bringing food with a smile and then allowing us to split the tab between 15 of us. They didn't even charge a mandatory service fee for large groups that's usually a standard for most restaurants nowadays. I would have gladly paid it, but tipped them well regardless. read more

Everything we ordered was delicious! It was all fresh, arrived quickly, and was light and flavorful. We left feeling full but not heavy which is always a win. I really enjoyed the non alcoholic cocktail. Sometimes it just tastes like you are drinking an overpriced juice but that's not the case with this cocktail! The flavors were refreshing and blended really well and tasted like an actual cocktail with their nonalcoholic sparkling wine that was added with orange, vanilla and passion fruit. There are a lot of raw options that I wasn't able to try because I'm pregnant but they looked delicious and I'll have to go back and try them at a different time. It was reasonably priced and the service was fast and attentive. The restaurant itself was adorable. I loved the vibe and the decor. There was seating available indoors and outdoors but we selected inside due to the heat. We came here with another couple we met through Yelp Elite for brunch. My husband couldn't figure out the theme for the menu. I explained to him, it's a fusion restaurant with all of the owner's favorite foods from different countries. I liked that they had gluten free options! The owner is Belarusian. After being told there was a 1.5 hour wait at a different restaurant early on a Friday night I was scrambling for another place to have dinner. I'd heard of this restaurant a couple of times recently and found that they had reservations available about 15 minutes after I was looking so I decided to give them a try. We arrived ahead of the reservation time and we asked if we wanted to eat on their patio or inside. Given that it was a nice evening we took a two top table outside the patio. The relatively small was sheltered from the traffic and not too loud, we were brought dinner, wine, and cocktail menus shortly after we were seated along with water My companion wanted to try some red wine, but not knowing what she would like. She got to taste two different Cabernet Sauvignon before picking which one she wanted. I looked through their large and brightly, colorful house cocktail menu book which had several appealing options I went with the Amalfi, which sounded like a light sweet drink for the somewhat warm Friday night. Although several of the appetizers looked appealing, especially the burrata, neither of us thought we were hungry enough for both. So my companion ordered the salmon bowl and I ordered the pasta carbonara. We didn't have to wait too long for our food to come out and it was served warm. Both of us were very pleased with our dishes. My companion who spent some time in Italy was very impressed with the pasta carbonara as well as her own dish. I think this is a cute little restaurant that's good for a gathering of a group of friends or a date night. I look forward to returning and exploring more of the menu. read more

I brought a friend who had just moved back to Austin and never been, and we found they had upgraded their cocktail menu (same drinks, cuter names/look). I got the "Rome" cocktail (an aperol spritz with rosemary undertones), and my friend got the Vienna (a tangier drink, stronger alcohol flavor than mine, and also with rosemary undertones). She also ordered the bruschetta and red pepper appetizer which I sampled, and that was quite fun (and gluten free, as she has an allergy - they have lots of gluten free options). The staff were friendly and helpful as always, and the interior is still adorable, also with a little Christmas tree/holiday flare now. This was an expected surprised found on Yelp! Rose Gose is a quaint restaurant located in the Hyde Park/North Loop area of Austin. Easy to get to and plenty of parking around the building. There is seating both inside the restaurant and outside on the patio area. The breakfast food options were really good, even though it was a smaller menu. They have options for what is eaten in different European countries and US States. The steak and eggs were a hit, as was the shakshuka. Flavorful and plentiful! The drink options were also a hit, as they were named and fashioned after different European countries and their "flavor palates". Rosé Gosé is a hidden gem of a brunch spot in Austin that's eclectic, and buzzing with good energy. Came here for brunch with friends and everything from the food to the cocktails was delicious. I ordered Plate 5 and it came out perfect. The ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the addition of poached eggs on top of the steak with the fries was absolute perfection. The salad was a nice touch for a refreshing bite between bites. One of my friends got the eggs benedict with beef tartare, and it was unlike any benedict I've seen before. Poached eggs with hollandaise sauce on beef tartare was a combo I never really imagined, but it looked amazing. The other went for the avocado toast with poached eggs, which was beautifully plated and generously topped. Creamy avocado, crunchy sourdough, and perfectly runny eggs made it feel fresh but still hearty. Bonus points for the bright herbs and chili oil drizzle. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the drinks were light and refreshing. Highly recommend if you're looking to brunch in style. read more

Me and my old college friend went here for brunch. Oh my goodness I love this restaurant so much. First of all it is so cute!! it is super cozy inside has a really artsy wine bar type of feel. The waitresses are so nice. They all coincidentally have beautiful accents and for some reason it makes the restaurant feel very exotic. The brunch menu is also exotic. In fact, they have little flags of the types of brunch that they serve. My friend got the plate three which had the French flag. It included goat cheese, Camembert, cheese, truffle butter, and a macaroon. I chose plate two, which had the California flag. It included, hummus, avocado, eggs, hashbrowns. The plates seem really simple, but they are perfectly fulfilling and you don't end up feeling over stuffed at the end. I especially loved the presentation, which is why I took so many pictures. If you go here, you have to try the cocktails. I am not normally an alcohol person. I tend to drink non-alcoholic beverages however this place has really great alcoholic options. Their drinks do not taste overwhelming and are still really fun. The limoncello which is the one that I got was so good! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place as a date night or just a fun place to go to. The food is really good. The service is really really good. The presentation of the food is really good. The food presentation looked so pretty and I love how they have different countries' variations of the same dish such as the breakfast plate. I came to try this for the first time today for brunch and was surprised to find there was no line! I wanted something indulgent, but not processed and heavy. I'm glad I found Rose Gose! For a beverage I ordered the Number 15 (mocktail) and it consisted of almond, apricot puree and orange juice. It was just as refreshing as a regular cocktail, and was more on the tart side but also sweet. The foam on top is the best part. The eggs Benedict with beef tartare was the perfect blend of savory, saucy, but not too rich. The egg was perfectly poached and blended well with the hollandaise and sauce of the tartare. I'm not sure what type of toast they used but it was nice and thick, fluffy and fragrant (I can only describe it as a croissant in toast form LOL). I ordered a mocktail that had apricot in it. It was very refreshing. I appreciated that the mocktail I ordered was less expensive than the regular cocktails. My friends ordered a few regular cocktails and really enjoyed them. The drinks were presented very uniquely. I'll add some photos in this review. I ordered the tuna steak dish as an entree. When looking for Sunday brunch places on Yelp, this cute place popped up so I suggested it to friends and we went there this past Sunday. They had good menu choices, including vegetarian for one of my friends. We got seated quickly and the wait staff explained our options. This place is beautiful! That was my first thought as I walked in to this aesthetically decorated space. Parking was easy and service was good so no complaints. As a pescatarian my food options felt... okay? We got these rice patties topped with salmon to share and they were a flavorful appetizer, I loved the spicy mayo and the crunch of the crispy rice. For my main I honestly didn't vibe with a lot of the options as someone who usually gets the veg or fish option, maybe because they had a couple of ingredients I didn't like and there weren't a lot of options. In the end though I went with the burrata salad because I wanted something refreshing and it hit the spot. I used the bread to scoop up all the delicious flavors until it was an empty plate I loved it THAT much!! A good modern european style neighborhood restaurant. We decided to try this place after a year of reading all the good reviews on this neighborhood joint and it totally met expectations. We didn't have a reservation on a mid-week dinner but they were able to accommodate us. They were pretty busy when we came so I would recommend reserving a table if you come here during peak dinner hours. They do have outdoor seating as well. We started off with their signature cocktails. They were very delicious, picture worthy, and most importantly tasty. The cocktails are more on the light side and many are mixed with fresh juices which is good for this type of cuisine. They also have stronger vodka shots (the owners are from Belarus) if you want a little more kick too. Bottles of wine are sold at near retail prices and beer is also available. Ti start the meal we ordered a couple of starters of the classic beef tartare and burrata. The burrata was a knockout dish. The starters also came with bread. The toasted sourdough was so good we ordered another couple of slices. For mains I had the seafood pasta on one occasion and on another the grilled bowl. The mains are reasonably priced ($15-25) and are quite filling. The seafood pasta was packed with different kinds of shellfish. The grilled bowl had steak on a bed of rice. The rice was a little al dente which honestly is the right texture for the bowl - there's an argument to cooking starches al dente to help with blood sugar. We ended the meal with a shot or two Of their craft infused vodka shots (currently cherry and cranberry flavored). The service is great. They are attentive but not hovering and since this European style they won't try to push you out of the restaurant. Simply ask for the check when you're ready to go. I had the rice bowl with the ribeye and mushrooms, my husband had the ribeye with red peppers and my friend Caryn had the homemade pasta with seafood. Every single dish was amazing. The ribeye was made so well and mmmm the homemade pasta. I was equally impressed with how much food was included. I'm so tired of paying some crazy price for two small pieces of meat- not at this spot! The only thing I think could have been "bustier" was the wine plate appetizer we ordered. I also ordered two glasses of the bonanza cab which was delicious and they gave me a good pour. I am so thankful to have found such a delicious and affordable restaurant.
