We didn't have reservations, but it was early enough that we were able to grab a seat at the bar. They do take reservations on Open Table if you prefer. There's limited bar seating as well as tables and booths. The vibe was very intimate and sultry with dim lighting. The bartenders were nice. I went with a Pimm's Cup which is a favorite of mine. Garage's Pimm's Cup was actually very good, but it didn't quite compare with the Pimm's Cup at Anvil in Houston (IYKYK). We didn't order any food, but they have pizza (including gluten free options) as well as salads. The next time I visit, I'll be sure to try a slice.

The main area is a good size and shape for larger groups. I appreciated that the music was not too loud to chat with your date. The restrooms are very clean and nice. The outdoor area in back was the biggest surprise. They have a nice, covered area with new outdoor furniture that is equipped with a pool table. Revenge is a hidden treasure. I recommend it for a relaxed, elegant evening.

While we waited for our food, they surprised us with complimentary bacon-wrapped dates and two glasses of bubbly to celebrate. Those thoughtful touches made us feel genuinely special. Thursday specials were another fun surprise. The $10 martinis were fantastic, and I loved the "Girl Dinner" special--a Caesar salad and fries. Cute, simple, and delicious. My $10 Cosmopolitan was excellent. For dinner, we shared the prawns, chili chicken, and lamb lollipops. However, after placing the order, we waited nearly another 30 minutes with no drinks. At that point, we were getting close to our dinner reservation and hadn't seen our server at all. I went up to another host (not the one who seated us) to ask about the status. She said she would check, but when she came back, she just smiled and didn't give us any update. Another 10 minutes passed, and my mother-in-law went up to her again and said we would need to cancel the drinks if they hadn't been made, since it had now been over an hour and we had reservations elsewhere. Still, no clear response or communication. At that point, we had to leave and were already running late. As we were walking out, the server finally came over and told us he had been planning to comp the drinks because of the delay, but that someone bumped into him and spilled all of them. Honestly, that explanation didn't feel believable. He was completely dry, and both my husband and I have worked in food and beverage. We understand mistakes happen, but this didn't add up. It felt much more likely that the order was forgotten and no one wanted to be honest about it. The space itself is beautiful, but the lack of communication and accountability was frustrating. Experiences like this make it hard to want to return. That said, if the situation had been handled differently, with honesty or even a simple acknowledgment it would have gone a long way.
