At this point, I've tried almost everything on the menu, and while it's all great, my absolute favorites are the fried shrimp, chips & queso, Cuban yucca fries, and the curly fries. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, even when they're slammed, which says a lot about the level of service they provide. The outdoor patio is one of my favorite places to hang out. It's spacious and equipped with a big-screen TV, fans, and misters. On any given weekend, there's always something fun happening, from vintage markets to classic car shows. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Honestly, this is NOT a place I would have just pulled into seeing it from the road! Haha... It is an old building and isn't the most inviting - ignore that feeling, turn in and give it a try! The people were super nice as we looked over the Sunday Brunch menu and placed our order at the bar. The bartender was helpful in giving us suggestions. Absolutely loved the vibe of this place. Sitting outside and chilling in the nice weather was a dream. The food comes pretty quick. The place wasn't packed but it's pretty large and people spread out. You go in order and take a number. Servers are in and out if you need anything. Got the carrot hummus which was to die for. It was so good. Friend got queso dip which was delicious too. For my meal I got the fried tofu. Like usual I had to have some of my wife's chicken wrap. Both were super good. There is art everywhere, the music is always on point, and the whole place has that vintage, low-key charm that makes you want to take your time. The drinks lean into the name. If it's tropical, they probably serve it, from margaritas to piña coladas to tamarind, hibiscus, or mezcal creations. The food hits those same bright flavors. My go to items are the Cuban yucca fries and the dry rub blackened ranch wings. The yucca fries are crispy, well seasoned, and so addictive with that jalapeño avocado dip. The wings stay crunchy, the dry rub brings the flavor without the mess, and the lime ranch on the side ties it all together. Portions are generous, so you can share or take some home for later. Parking is a little tight since it still has convenience store bones, but once you're in, the vibe makes up for it. I'm a creature of habit, so I keep returning to my favorites, but the salads and bowls always look tempting. If you come when it is less busy (earlier in the day) you will get the best service. After the work day it becomes more of a bar and wait times for drinks, seats and food may be a bit longer. My daughter love love loves this place! My first impression wasn't great because they were pretty rude about my water bottle. Apparently if you just enter out back, it's no big deal to have a water bottle, but if you come through the bar area they aren't very nice about it. However, my daughter loves the food she gets there. They also make her a non-alcoholic cocktail that she likes. But they are also very strict about the hours you can order wraps vs salads, which is weird. Their service needs work overall. However, they have a chill backyard that is great for dogs and socializing. There were a ton of people out there when we went but still seating to be found. Seems like a great place to meet large groups of friends. Just don't get easily offended when the staff isn't the nicest and you'll love this place! read more

That said, I ordered the breakfast tacos and they were quite poor. Flour tortillas weren't warmed up or crisped and really need it. A little too thin and lacked flavor. Had bacon and egg and fake chorizo and egg. Nether filling was great, but not bad. Bacon one needed more filling. But the food and drinks are really just ok. I would not drive out of my way to come here and if someone else suggested to meet here I'd recommend another spot nearby. And there is a lot nearby. I had the tofu kimchi sandwich and it was fine. Someone else ordered the Chicken BLT wrap and was disappointed it was mostly L than the rest combined. It has chicken, avocado, butter lettuce and peanut dressing. Yucca fries are super yum. They're served with an avocado dipping sauce that has a small hint of spice. I had asked her if this specific area outside was okay to sit at and she interrupted me before I could finish and said "sure" & about 10 minutes later she came back and said we couldn't actually sit there. Tried this place out for the first time during happy hour. Upon walking up, the space looked like an abandoned gas station, definitely a unique and interesting look. Tried their strawberry pina colada (subtly sweet but refreshing) and paint it black margarita (was a good margarita and had charcoal for coloring, interesting twist). For food, the fried chicken sandwich is typically my go to in any new restaurant offering it, so I had to give it a go. The fried chicken sandwich was decent but nothing exceptional so I'd try something else. I felt there could be some improvements though. The water dispenser was small and dispensed really slowly so it took me a minute to fill a cup.
