So yummy! Everything we tried was seriously addictive. Miso Caramel Matcha was an incredible combination. It added an umami flavor that complemented the matcha bringing out a rich, balanced profile without overpowering it Mascarpone Latte was essentially tiramisu in a drink form. Creamy without being overly sweet, the cocoa powder added a nice dark and bitter finish. I got to sip the Black Hojicha and Trio Tea Latte and both were just as delectable. Every drink was so satisfying to sip, you just can't seem to put it down.

CaPhein is amongst the best Vietnamese Coffee shops in Austin! I love their Egg Coffee- an absolute must! I've tried their Vietnamese Iced Coffee (smaller portion), Egg Coffee (favorite), and Pandan Coffee. All delicious! Their Vietnamese Iced Coffee only comes in the smaller portion. I personally haven't tried their matcha or other drinks, but my friends all say it's life changing! Wait times here generally average 15 minutes, so plan accordingly. An absolute must try!

Strawberry matcha for the win! My sisters got the triple something and they love it.

Took my brothers to show them quality coffee/matcha in austin and succeeded they loved This spot is one of my favorites and has a cute interior w bathroom but def can get busy but the baristas are fire . Perfect spot for before or after thrifting on guad ayeeeee

Omgawd ! Yummmmy This is basically legal crack, ya'll know Vietnamese don't play when it comes to coffee and this is a must stop . They've got non dairy options and teas that can be customized to be less sweet . The location is so much fun and full of energy on Guadalupe / 22nd area . Popping in is easy since it's attached to a parking garage . HIGHLY recommend.

I asked for light ice and even then it's pretty full with ice . That's my only complain. Other than that, the drinks are good

The fact that it was free parking around the corner in Austin is crazy cool! Place is small and gets pretty busy, tried going in with my stroller but I felt like I took a lot of space. Restrooms are available and little seating available indoor. Pretty good coffee but very small place. More of a pick up and go type of place.

I got the strawberry matcha here and I'm not a Matcha expert, but I enjoyed it a lot here. The quality of the matcha tasted pretty solid to me. It was very strong or I'm just super sensitive to matcha since I could not fall asleep that night. Cute place and there's a parking garage you can park at for free!

Finally a place that has free parking and you can order online too! Super pack place, line out the door but I ain't waiting. Maybe online is an extra charge, but I ordered online and pick it up within 10 minutes and drank it inside. Drinks were good, there are so many flavors I want to try them all if only they weren't like $9 each. 3/5 Green Pandan Coffee - seasonal item, not bad but not something I would get again. The rice on top was good, i wish they added more of the rice! The pandan flavor was a bit artificial, you can kinda taste like the acetate. 4/5 Egg Coffee - this was good, coffee is strong, but could be stronger! A bit on the sweeter side. I love a good egg coffee. This one hits the spot. 5/5 Banana Matcha - best item, probably their signature item. The banana is cute, the matcha was good. Great combo! This is exactly what a good banana matcha should taste like. Not the nasty la la land stuff, gross. I need to come here again for the other items, seems like people order the mango matcha alot ;-;

My friends and I visited Austin and wanted some good coffee. This place was recommended so we thought we'd give it a try! First impressions: The coffee shop is close to the parking garage, so that was nice! We did wait in a line that stretched outside the door, so we were expecting really good coffee/matcha Service: Service was good, they are also pretty fast at popping out the drinks. Drinks: I got the coco ube matcha and my boyfriend got the viet caramel coffee. I'm going to be honest, these drinks were a lot milkier than I expected. The flavors were decent, but would've liked it a little less milkier. Overall, it was good! However, we had to wait in line, in the heat for these drinks. I personally did not think it was worth that type of wait, but maybe I chose the wrong drinks! Definitely come try for yourself, but be ready to wait!

The atmosphere and staff were friendly and helped me with picking the right order for me. I'll definitely be coming back!

Cute, small cafe with a couple tables. I visited on a Sunday at 5 pm and it was really busy, a lot of people were standing up and there weren't many seats. There's a free parking garage behind the cafe which was nice. I got the Golden Cloud Matcha, Egg Coffee, and Green Rice Pandan coffee, and they were pretty disappointing. The matcha flavor wasn't very prominent, and the mix-ins like the salted honey and pandan also didn't stand out or add enough flavor. Especially given the price which was $7.5-9 for each, the drinks were disappointing and I wouldn't come back again.

Ashley C.

Free parking located behind the building! Then you can easily walk through to get to the front door of the coffee shop. It was pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon, and there isn't much of an outdoor area, so waiting around for drinks inside was a bit awkward... but luckily the drinks didn't take super long. I had the Golden Cloud Matcha which was very refreshing, and not too sweet at all like some other versions I've had. If you really want more of that matcha and jasmine focus, this is a great tea based drink for you.

Mixed Fruit Tart $10.25. Beautiful and the fruit was fresh, but a little too sweet for me. I couldn't finish it. Their pastries are on the expensive side, but the quality is good, they have quiche, ham and cheese croissants, coconut macaroons, and so many tempting drinks! Some interesting drinks I spotted: Raspberry White Chocolate Matcha & Espresso Con Panna. There were so many things I wanted to try. Things Mozart's does well: food and desserts…read more Drinks are falling behind. The peach cobbler matcha just tasted like matcha so why bother calling it peach cobbler? There was some stuff sprinkled on top but very disappointing. Things that are not so great: 1. Orders are all over the place. We got a matcha, a cold brew, and a drip. Matcha came out first. Never got a cup for the drip so had to ask. Also had to remind barista about the cold brew, which is easier and faster to make than the matcha given you just pour it in a cup with ice. Do they just jump around from ticket to ticket when making drinks? 2. I asked for our desserts to be in to go boxes and I wanted our savory food heated up because we were going to eat it there. I said this 3-4x. Everything was placed in to go containers so I had to take the savory food out and ask again for it to be heated up. Food placed after us was already in the toaster so we had to wait extra long for our food to be placed in there and heated up. 3. Music is way too loud. Can't even talk. Thankfully there was a longer than scheduled break in-between the first band and the second band that we could actually talk and enjoy our food. 4. The wait times are ridiculous. The line does NOT move that fast. Probably because people have to keep asking the workers where their stuff is. 5. Parking is terrible. A woman and her friend pulled out and I pulled in only to have valet claim it was their spot. How did a woman and her friend walk to her car and pull out if it was valet? There was also no cone but sure, it belongs to valet. Was this a way of trying to get us to pay? Touristy trap. Yes, I know there is an overflow lot. It is usually packed/full. I was also with elderly parents. Good luck walking down that hill without falling. They used to have someone in a little cart take people back and forth but not anymore. I tipped $8 for worse than Chipotle/Subway service. I've been here on a weekday mid-day before and they've forgotten my iced Americano before. I've had to go up and ask the baristas just standing around and clearly not working on my drink. Then I would sit down and 5-7 min would go by. Still no drink. Go back to the front. They say, oh there's your drink (half melted). I was sitting inside at a table talking with a friend. Surely if they called my name, I would have heard them but I guess they cannot be bothered. I've been coming to Mozart's since high school since I live nearby. Service has become a joke. It's turned into a tourist attraction with prices to match and extremely long lines The food is good, I will give them that. Once the food quality goes down, there is absolutely no point in coming. I also worked as a barista in high school and college. I can adequately judge the level of service as I've been through the crazy rushes. The service is terrible here. It's like they think because they're Mozart's on the lake, they can just not care about providing good service. The people working there, while always polite, do not seem like they like working there. I dont know how to explain it. I think it's because Mozart's is tourist attraction and no longer an actual Austin coffee shop. It feels like Starbucks right at the point Starbucks sold out. It's such a shame. I live a few minutes away so I would like to come here more often but every time I come, I'm always a bit unhappy about my visit.

Open later than most coffee shops, especially in this deserted part of town. Varied drink menu, both caffeinated and not caffeinated, including refreshers. Nice creative variety of desserts (including a Biscoff cake!) and a kolaches case. At one point the brought some hot baked dessert (looked like a whole coffee cake) out the oven and it smelled like heaven. The bad: Nothing vegan or healthy, not even pre-made cold sandwiches or packaged salads. If you are a little peckish for a healthy snack, this is not the place. The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. Disappointingly, the Americano was also watery and sort of "lemony", but I still drank half while sitting with my friend. I'll say that my friend had some sort of an iced latte that she enjoyed. I might try a second visit and order a Turkish coffee, but I will make sure to have had a full meal before.

I kept it simple with a vanilla latte. I noticed they had tacos at the bottom of the food menu, but at $13.25 for two tacos + an a la carte item, I decided to pass. Maybe my expectations were too high (as usual) because it's inside a hotel, but I was hoping for the kind of warm hospitality hotels are known for, but instead, the service felt a bit cold. It didn't exactly make me want to spend more money there. While sitting on the patio, I spotted the food truck outside and thought, "PERFECT. A food truck HAS to be cheaper. Take that Simona's!" I walked up to the window... only to find out it wasn't actually a separate food truck. It was just the pickup window. To order? I had to go back inside to Simona's and place my order with the delightful staff... I ended up ordering two Blue Migas tacos, and honestly, they were just... good, but nothing memorable. They tasted like your average breakfast tacos that you can find all over Austin for less. Despite loving how relaxing the outdoor patio is with its lucious greenery surrounding you and the beautiful French chairs and cafe tables, it's located right next to the hotel pool.
