Their bowls are fresh fun and always delicious. I love the flavor combinations and their homemade granola is so yummy and the perfect crunch. My favorites are the babe and mamaka. I always love their monthly specials too! As a smoothie bowl princess, this is my go to spot. Parking is super easy, just validate at trader joe's!

The cafe is next to the hot yoga studio and the interior temp was really hot - I think this is because they left the hot yoga door open after the last session. We were waiting outside because the heat was a bit unbearable for us. The bowls were pretty decent, and they offered a variety of ingredients/ fresh fruits that you can choose from. We built our own bowl and enjoyed their strawberry and mango! Parking is a bit tricky, seems like there was only street parking available and the garages are a bit pricy.

They LOOK like tortilla chips, but they're not made out of tortillas. Maybe garbanzo flower? Not for me. There's nothing good to say about the salsa, sadly. Their menu constantly mentions "artisanal" vegan cheese, but it's violife. Violife is the best mass-produced vegan cheese for sure, but they're really hamming it up with their menu descriptions. Ultimately, they need to allow more communication on their website, or have a phone number they can answer, before I'd get food from here again. I need to be able to say "I do not want chips".

The bean and cheese was the better of the two, with a bit too much bean filling but overall a good flavor profile. The PEC was disappointing, with the scrambled eggs rather dried out. Here are some of my thoughts: -It is located in / near casa de luz, which is a hub of wellness / yoga / spirituality shops. -The cafe itself is tiny, just enough room inside for two or three people to order, but there is plenty of seating outside if you like. -The service was good. She talked us through some recommendations, and we both landed on "sweet greens," which is most similar to the juice my wife makes daily. -Besides not having beet juice, it was a very pleasant flavor. The most distinct taste to me was the celery. It added a little spice to the sweet apple. -The drinks were refrigerated, which I love, and served in a glass bottle. They also provided a recycling bin for the empty bottles. Overall, recommended.

Texas honey ham next door is also a great meal option before an acai bowl! I always get the chill berry because I love goji berries, and this location didn't skimp on toppings. Might actually be the best acai bowl from blenders and bowls I've had yet. Will definitely come here again.

I went to Blenders and Bowls for an acai bowl; however, I got distracted by the Blenders, i.e. smoothies. I went for a Beach House Blender (Blend of Frozen Bananas, Frozen Strawberries, Frozen Mangoes, and Pineapple Juice.), a touted bestseller. It was so thick you could have eaten it with a spoon. I like that it was not eye-squinting sweet, yet very flavorful and satisfying. I was headed to the gym, and I did not want anything super heavy. The location is casual with a tropical paradise persona including outdoor seating. The staff were helpful in pointing out the bestsellers. They created a laid-back environment. I needed to use the restroom while there, which is in the hallway behind Blenders and Bowls (lock combination required). There is also limited free parking. Overall, Blenders and Bowls lured me in for their healthy options. It is perfect for when you want something tasty and healthy.
