Acai bowls
Eddie K.

We came here during the national açai bowl day and got these for free! The line was pretty long when we get here and we had to wait almost an hour to get our food. The cafe is next to the hot yoga studio and the interior temp was really hot - I think this is because they left the hot yoga door open after the last session. We were waiting outside because the heat was a bit unbearable for us. The bowls were pretty decent, and they offered a variety of ingredients/ fresh fruits that you can choose from. We built our own bowl and enjoyed their strawberry and mango! Parking is a bit tricky, seems like there was only street parking available and the garages are a bit pricy.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Helped me to determine the best immunity blend add-ons. Were very conscious of peanut contamination. Located inside the YTX building right on the corner. You can see it from the street . Music is r&b on overhead speakers.

Açaí Bowl - Açaí bowl topped with fresh blueberries, banana slices, and strawberries, with pieces of bacon on top. The bowl is in a clear plastic container, placed on a white surface, with a white spoon inside. The background includes a blurred laptop and other objects.

When I was in downtown Austin I search up the best açaí bowl spot and Juiced up popped up. It was a quick walk from my hotel so I divided to try it out. Blueberries, strawberries, banana, granola, and peanut butter. It was absolutely fantastic. Also, they have a great staff. Being kind and friendly goes a long way. They are attached to a workout franchise which makes for a good combo.

Two smoothies in clear plastic cups with lids are positioned on a wooden table. The left smoothie appears to be chocolate-flavored, while the right one has a purple hue, possibly berry or acai. Both cups have black labels with the text "JUICED UP" and are sealed with transparent lids. The background shows a tiled floor and part of a chair, indicating an indoor or outdoor seating area.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to get protein shakes after our workout, and we found Juiced Up downtown! The only con is that it's downtown so parking is pretty hard to find, but this is an excellently located juice bar. Staff is friendly, and we both liked our protein smoothies. I did think mine had way too much peanut butter in it, but they were both tasty and made us feel better after a difficult workout.

This a breakfast staple for us on game day. Juiced up shares a lobby with a yoga studio. Cool vibe and music with a real cool staff. Menu basically bowls and smoothies. You can build bowls, or have protein shakes and smoothies. They also have a small toast menu. My bowl was great as usual. Great joint with good food. If you are into açaí bowls, smoothies and shakes this hidden gem is a great spot for you.

Smoothie, juice, and acai bowl bar located in YTX Yoga studio. I got a small 12 oz Build-Your-Own Bowl ($10.50). I love how you can customize and pick your base (acai, pitaya, coconut) and toppings. So many toppings to choose from! They forgot my almond butter drizzle but perhaps that was for the better. Also so the middle was still a bit frozen so maybe if they had let it thaw a bit more it would have been better! The bowl was beautifully assembled, surprisingly filling, and really good! I didn't get his name but the man working at the counter was so nice :)

I think this is the best açaí I have ever had, which is a big statement to make considering the number of açaí places I've tried!! The base was impeccable - so smooth with a lovely flavor and not overly sweet. The toppings were incredibly fresh, and they are generous with their portions!! Seriously so good, I can't wait to go back!

I was in need of a cleanse and a spot to study, and I stumbled upon a gem. I decided to go for the 24oz build-your-own açaí bowl ($19 including tax), and it turned out to be a really good! I would highly recommend it. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was just right for concentration if you like noise. This space is shared with a yoga studio. If you're looking for a nourishing meal, this place is a winner.

Keeps your car cooler in the Texas heat and there are shopping cart friendly escalators to get your groceries easily back to the car. The produce selection at this Whole Foods is insane! Any type of produce that you could want or need can be found in either traditional or organic format. They also have an extensive seafood counter with very knowledgeable staff to help you make a selection. With a dedicated area for fresh sushi, a barbecue selection, freshly made sandwiches, prepared foods, a hot bar, and a salad bar all of your grocery needs can be met here. At the front of the store, there's also a fantastic coffee bar so you can remain caffeinated while you shop. I need Diet Coke and food that is bad for me too. We come here probably once or twice a week. The Amazon return center is super convenient. There's a self serve kiosk too. Major plus. Our second stop is juice land and then the hot bar & salad bar. I like being able to make a "girl dinner" lunch with a couple of bites worth of several things. We typically go to the roof to eat and to let the kids run around the playscape. If anyyyyy corporate Whole Foods people are reading this- can we please update the play area? Maybe add to it? Or make it toddler friendly? I know I'm being picky we just come so much and it would be a dream update.
