The friend that I was meeting had been there before and for my understanding things were a little bit different before July 31, when some of the rules changed in Austin. I ended up getting a beverage easy 1/8 was the drink very light and kind of fruity there's an option to have alcohol or THC infused. I went for the alcohol version. They also had a DJ that was upstairs in a little cubby kind of cool however, the music varied vastly from one genre to the next. You almost started to get into a groove and then different genre. I really enjoyed the walk to the ladies room. They had these mirrors with these cute little chairs. I would assume that you could sit there and overall it was a decent experience. I would totally go back to see and try some of the other drinks, and I really enjoyed the low-key vibe as well as the decor which almost seemed similar to a speakeasy. The service was great. We were at Table service so they came around to offer drinks and the value I was about 14 bucks for drinks so that seems on par for the downtown Austin area.

I also liked the different varieties of gummies they have. I got ones to help me sleep. I think I'll be getting my gummies from here from now on. I became aware of Vitamin Shoppe in Sunset Valley purely by accident. I was using an online…read morevitamin finder to locate methylcobalamin (B-12, the more expensive kind that doesn't reduce to cyanide upon metabolism), and Vitamin Shoppe proved to be least expensive place to buy it. In a hurry, I paid more for some methyl B-12 at WFM. A month later, when I was out, I made a trip to Vitamin Shoppe. Their inventory is diverse and deep, so I asked for help in finding what I needed. I found the staff to be most helpful in that regard, showing me my options. I settled on the store brand methyl B-12, which was on a BOHO sale at the time of my visit. As a bonus, the store offered some free fitness magazines, but I was told that at least one of them had some great tips and recipes. I don't know that I'll source all of my vitamin needs here in the future, but, for the specialty items, I certainly will. And I'll keep my eyes open for opportunities to do more business with Vitamin Shoppe.

I was greeted and seen promptly for the appointment, and I received a body scan using one of their machines which gives a print out of personal stats including body fat and muscle content, water content, etc. It was really fun to learn a little more about myself and my physical distribution. I also received a recommendation for a supplement to help with mild appetite suppression and fat burn which I am indeed curious to try. On a side note - I didn't look through all the pharmacy items because I was short on time but BOY did they have a selection in there! You have to be careful about just starting new meds because they can interact with prescription medications, but if you got a supplement cleared with your doctor, I'm fairly sure this place would have it. People's Pharmacy, you are harming patients. It is unethical to sell homeopathy. Do not reply to my review with anything other than "We're removing homeopathy from our shelves," because I will not change my mind on this.
