I've been spending money here for the past two months. I've spent almost $300 here and until today I've had pretty good service which is why I kept coming back. NOT ANYMORE!!! Since I've been coming here every single time they take $5 off the product I buy. Eric, the long haired jackass who clearly isn't going anywhere in life, just told me I needed to be NICER when asking for a discount. Mind you when I came in I said hello and was extremely friendly. Jackass rings me up and says $40. I said remember last week (I come almost every week!) Y'all give it to me for $35. That's when he said I could be nicer! HOW ABOUT YOU REMEMBER YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!! GTFO. You just lost a customer over $5!!!! Don't go here they're shady asf. Eric should be fired. If that were my business he'd be gone! read more

This place is great. These guys are real knowledgeable about different smoking devices. They're friendly and funny. It's good to see people who genuinely enjoy there job. They have a lot of unique glass pipe pieces that you don't see at other stores. The best part of going to Smoking Depot are the dogs who greet you at the door. read more

The staff at smoking depot are friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you feel welcome in their shop. Unbeatable deals on mods and juice, their extremely large and elegant glassware and art selection, and their playful and loving doggos will keep me coming back time and time again. What happened to the previous reviews? What a great place. Bright blue building on Lamar close to Barton Springs. Great guys Shooter, AJ and Haney. Definitely into helping the customer and there are friendly loving puppies. I took my dog in there and she had new friends right away. These guys are really into helping with what ever you need. Did I mention they have beautiful glass art by Russell Stokely. Well worth a visit. Check it out. read more

Established in 2017.

Our business opened in February of 2017, with it's roots dating back to 2011. Smoking Depot is owned exclusively by two partners who ran the Whomp Smoke Shop in it's final year. They have been involved in the glass scene for 10 years each, and have a total of 15 years combined smoke shop experience! Both owners have extremely polite and well mannered pups, and encourage you to bring your fur-babies! The Smoking Depot offers a much more relaxed and noobie friendly environment then any other smoke shop in town. Theres no commission, so you don't deal with vampires or hidden fees. Smoking Depot also choose to keep their prices low for higher volume of sales, instead of milking out as much profit as they can like other surrounding shops. After being reassured from staff that the points would be transferred over and 4 visits into the shop over the last 3 months leaving my information each time to inquire about it, today I was finally able to get the staff to try to speak to whoever is over them at a corporate level and was told to shove it about my original point balance. The in store staff is great and this review is not meant towards them, their customer service is a 5/5, however the lack of follow up and general lack of care towards customer service on a corporate level is atrocious. I highly recommend shopping elsewhere.

This store keeps getting better and better. I was at first hesitant to bring my pup in as he can be a bit feisty but the store opened up it's show space and one need not worry about a silly tail costing you tons of money. Very happy they carry juul pods! Me and my wife have been searching for a steady source, and three times running they've had my creme brule in stock. Also happy that they sell them at online value! Recently walked into this place thinking it was the Whomp Smoke Shop only to find out they had gotten bought out by two of there former managers. Very very satisfied with the new direction the store is headed into, and couldn't be happier with the two familiar faces that bought out the location.
