Unfortunately, when the pharmacist got on the phone, the tone of the conversation changed completely. I was already dealing with an injured foot and trying to figure out what I could do over the weekend. Instead of simply explaining that a prescription would be required for the boot, I felt like I was being lectured about the fact that it was the weekend and doctors wouldn't be available to write one. I was fully aware of that--that was exactly why I was calling the pharmacy to see what options I had. The issue wasn't that they couldn't provide the boot. I understand there may be rules or prescription requirements they have to follow. The issue was the tone and lack of empathy. When someone is hurt and calling for help, a little kindness and a simple explanation go a long way. I really appreciated the gentleman who first tried to assist me, but the interaction with the pharmacist was disappointing and left me feeling like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer asking for help.

I made the decision a few months ago that good juice was worth the cost and Raw Republic is definitely a splurge when I want to switch things up from my typically fresh-squeezed orange juice. The employees are all very friendly, the juices are fresh-pressed, and they run a sustainability program to reward you for recycling your juice glasses with a free juice (whoo!!), so what's not to love? If you have the chance, I definitely recommend checking it out! Word on the street is that they also have fresh, local-made gluten free bread delivered every Friday, but I haven't had the chance to check that out yet. I've tried about 5-6 different flavors so far and all of them have been very good, but G.L.A.M. is the perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and spicy, in my opinion, so it's the one I keep coming back to. Parking can be a bit tricky since it's a relatively small parking lot that is shared between several businesses, but I've yet to have a long wait for parking. The inside of the shop is a very clean, bright, and airy aesthetic, which I feel very much aligns with the business as a whole. They do sell other products as well, and from local vendors like Nuffs (which I also love!) but I mainly come here for the juice.
