Super responsive pharmacy that can text you before your refill is needed to make sure that your Rx is ready by the time you need it. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I had a different pharmacy for my specialty compounded Rx previously, and switching to Brodie Lane was the one of the best choices I made while living here. I redownloaded Yelp just to write this review because I will miss them when I move. read more

I discovered this pharmacy recently when I was going to The Joint next door. I'd been looking for a compounding pharmacy closer to my home and better hours open. While they're 37$ more per prescription than where I was going midtown, the convenience is awesome and compounding is comparable. The employees are friendly and they've been able to give me exactly what I need. I called my doctor and my prescription was easily transferred over. They also sell some supplements and other health related items. It's right on the corner of Brodie and Davis next to the gas station. read more

They transferred my prescription to another pharmacy without disclosing it to me. They were not helping, nor did they try to get this resolved. Very disappointed with their customer service. read more

Aggressive, undertrained staff and the meds are poor quality generics. I regret spending so much at a place that condones violent threats and verbal abuse towards customers. I called this pharmacy right before Austin's rush hour traffic to ask if they would fill a written prescription medication. Electronic scripts are the standard now, especially for controlled substances. While old fashioned and requiring an exemption, written prescriptions are still authorized by the Texas State Medical Board and in compliance with DEA regulations and federal law. The pharmacist asked me if the prescriber is local, the name of the medicine, the dosage, and checked the inventory. She reassured me it would be no problem to fill, so I told her i would head that way from across Austin. I avoid going to big retail chain pharmacies when possible to support local businesses. When I arrived 45 minutes later, a pharmacy technician walked out from the back and overruled the on-duty pharmacist, saying they would not accept my doctor's prescription. He told me the pharmacist has no discretion about what gets filled and was just the on duty pharmacist, which i thought was belittling to a profession that requires higher medical education than his. I felt bad for her personally since she was just doing her job correctly. But the two other employees seemed proud to have wasted my time and didn't address the miscommunication between their staff. I called him an ---- hole, and he responded "you're a piece of _____" and "this badge comes off." His co-worker/girlfriend held him back as he tried to come around the counter to confront and I assume physically assault me. I warned the aggressor if he attacked me he might lose his pharmacy registration/license and he said he did not care. Another pharmacy technician at the register went from making friendly small talk to calling me a m-fer and to get the f out of the store. The insults exchanged took me back to high school. I engaged back for humor but they were really serious and furious. The really angry young man held up both middle fingers in a hilariously juvenile display. The next week, a fax was sent to my doctor i haven't seen in a years about the incident. That doctor then faxed my current doctor. I was shocked Aaron wanted to share his business' embarrassment. A good laugh but disappointing from someone who used to greet my family by name and talk about his children. Always been a bit socially awkward but became too important to interact with customers a few years ago. read more

Best pharmacy I've ever been to. Love being able to support a local mom and pop and get everything I need. They always have time to answer my questions and have always been super professional. Thanks doods! read more

I highly recommend Brodie Lane Pharmacy for so many reasons. Some of them include their excellent price, excellent communication and friendly, helpful and knowledgeable customer service. They're easy to reach via phone, text, email and using their user-friendly website. They're a small family-owned business, and I don't have to walk a long way from the car just to wait in a long line. Thank you, Brodie Lane Pharmacy!! read more

These people make going to the pharmacy so much more enjoyable! They are very personable and very efficient!

I transferred my prescriptions to Brodie Lane Pharmacy due to their 5-star rating. The big box pharmacies in Austin provide terrible service, and Brodie Lane Pharmacy is a perfect solution. They are very friendly, run a small pharmacy that has not had any issues filling any of my prescriptions, and is worth driving a few extra miles. I have not had such good service since the old days growing up in a small town, where everyone knew each other. Small town service in big Austin. They are fantastic! read more

what a surprise another "5-Star" Review.. forget being a Pharmacy this is how a company should be run, with the customer in mind: Treated with respect, consideration, and dignity- They also deliver which is helpful being disabled and have many medical issues... THANK YOU ! read more

This is the absolute best pharmacy. We get all our prescriptions from here, because not only is the entire staff lovely and know us by name, but their prices are competitive with the big name pharmacies. We have a dog that has uncontrolled epileptic seizures without mediation. Recently, during the large storm that knocked out everyone's power, we realized we were running out of medication and would not have enough to make it through. We called the pharmacy and even though they did not have power, they drove our dog's medication to our house in the middle of the huge storm! We can not think you enough!!! read more

You can't go wrong with Brodie Lane Pharmacy! With fantastic personalized service, informative emailed newsletters, unique gifts and over the counter items you'll actually enjoy picking up your prescription. Thank you Aaron, Karl and Marisa! read more

Brodie Lane Pharmacy - Pharmacy Near Me - Austin, Texas

This place actually feels very personal and friendly, you don't feel like a number or a nagging person begging for your drugs.

Really like this pharmacist and pharmacy. On the very first prescription he identified that I would get the drug cheaper by not using my insurance, which was great. They called this weekend to check if I'd had the new shingles vaccine because they had some of this short-supply immunization in (it's been very hard to find). And Aaron answered a lot of questions I had about the new Advair generic, very helpful. Can definitely recommend them! First rate! read more

I'm new to this pharmacy. Everyone there has been very helpful and friendly. They deliver on time. Whenever I call I get a person who is able to answer any questions I have. It's a pleasure dealing with trustworthy people. read more

This pharmacy is the best. Everyone goes above and beyond to help and is super curteous. My kid is super adverse to some medicinal flavors, so the added bonus to flavor medications flavors like strawberry and bubblegum makes it almost enjoyable for him to take his medicine. I appreciate this place and didn't know what I was missing out on before I made the switch. read more

I'd been using 2 pharmacies down the road from BLP over the last decade. I stopped by 2 Saturdays ago & Aaron and I had a nice discussion. I switched my prescriptions over to him that day. Both current scripts are cheaper. The staff is knowledgeable (very important because my last pharmacy sometimes couldn't even find my prescription) and friendly. Their hours may not be as lengthy as the chains but so what. It's nice to support a neighbor. read more

Great pharmacy with great staff. I always appreciate their attention to detail. Great gifts in the store also.

Brodie Lane Pharmacy is hands-down the best pharmacy our family has ever used. They helped us transfer all of our prescriptions, navigate a change in insurance, identify medication options that worked with our budget, and have coordinated with our doctor to get what what we needed. All with friendly professionalism. It's a rare level of customer service. Insurance, pharmacies, and medication can be so complicated, but Brodie Ln has helped us navigate the system with amazing ease. We are so glad they are here and can't say enough good things. (And as an added bonus, they have an ADORABLE gift shop in the front of the store. ) read more

Excellent personal service with expert advice. We've needed a lot of help lately and have been guided along the way. Best flu shot! Didn't feel a thing and so quick. Bonus is I always find great stuff in their gift shop area. read more

What a great pharmacy. The staff is very helpful, friendly and knowledgable. They do free medication delivery M-F 2pm to 4pm. They also have a little shop area full of gifts, candels, toys, etc. I am so excited to find a local pharmacy to go to instead of one of the chain pharmacy. read more

I just moved my prescriptions from a major chain to Brodie Lane Pharmacy and I am so pleased. The transfer was painless! They have a very personable team there and they have a great attention to detail. They have tons of cute gifts and things to browse. This is like the neighborhood pharmacy I had growing up in Austin. It's back and I am so glad it's right around the corner. Go by! You won't be disappointed. read more

Great service and friendly. These guys are the real deal. I quit Walgreens due to the prices and BLP is right across the street from me... AND they deliver! Perfect! I am not looking back. read more

Great local pharmacy that has everything you need; on SW corner of Brodie and Davis Lane. Very customer oriented and they have your Rx order ready when you arrive - both of the people working there are just great. I hope they get lots of customers so they will be here forever! Also love the nice hand creams and tasteful decorations they sell. read more

We just moved to the Buda/South Austin area and I was looking for a pharmacy. The big box pharmacies CVS and Walgreens have been a lot of hassle to deal with over time. I have always yearned to work with local businesses that can give great service, great prices, and be places where I can develop a personal relationship. I walked into Brodie Lane Pharmacy during the first week it was open just to scout things out and I'm glad that I did. Aaron is a nice friendly guy AND a very experienced pharmacist. He couldn't have been more helpful in getting all of my and my wife's and my prescriptions transferred over and synched up to minimize my having to make multiple trips for regular refills. He has always been eager to suggest ways that I can save with prescriptions and help expedite things by calling doctors, the insurance company, etc. My wife grew up on a farm outside of a town of 650. She says Brodie Lane Pharmacy feels like what she grew up with. I never lived in a small town so I imagine this feels like having your next door neighbor or your cousin as a pharmacist. I highly recommend you check out Brodie Lane Pharmacy -- You won't be disappointed. read more

I love having a local pharmacy where they know me by name, answer the phone personally and go out of their way to make it fast friendly and convenient. Carl and Aaron are friendly and knowledgeable and have ruined big corporate pharmacies for me forever. read more

Wow! I am glad I switched pharmacies. Brodie Lane Pharmacy offers a sincerity only a small, friendly, local business can. Aaron, the owner is an amazing pharmacist who is genuine and professional. Although they are a small business they can handle big needs such as compounding. There is also a boutique of unique gifts located in the pharmacy. I always pick up a little something every time I go. The charm of the pharmacy and gift shop is a representation of this amazing couple, Aaron and Marissa, who clearly put their whole hearts into their business. Thank you Brodie Lane Pharmacy for helping to keep Austin small. read more

Best pharmacy I have ever been to! The staff (especially Aaron, the pharmacist) is super friendly, helpful, and professional, and they actually care about customers. I actually look forward to going to Brodie Lane Pharmacy and highly recommend trying them out- you won't be disappointed! read more

Love it! I personally enjoy this place because they carry a variety of cute gifts and toys, but the pharmacist and staff are amazing. Love this new pharmacy with personalized service! Aaron spent the time to investigate a medication my son was on that no other pharmacist (or doctor) had told us about (turned out we were crushing an unnecessary part of the medication). And I appreciated the insight Aaron provided in regards to how the medication worked specifically for my son's diagnosis. And the cute boutique in front is just icing on the cake! read more

I am so impressed with the Brode Lane Pharmacy. What's not to love about personalized service? They have the cutest gift shop ever, with reasonable pricing and their pharmacy service is phenomenal. They have prescription delivery or you can text from your car and they will come out to help you. They compound medication for patients and pets. I had all of my prescriptions transferred here. They even found an online rebate for one of my prescriptions which they automatically applied toward my bill. Check them out! read more
