Terrible service. If you have a prescription you need to take, DO NOT USE. They will not have the prescription ready for you. There are no same day delivery windows like they claim, and then the courier won't show up. I haven't put a review on here in years but this is just awful. The prescription can take days to process. I have a prescription I absolutely need and asked my doctor for EARLY because I know how capsule can be. I did this last Wednesday. It is now the following Tuesday and I still do not have my prescription and have spent days going through withdrawal. This is not the first time this has happened. They did not show last night while I sat for three hours waiting and claim I said I would pick it up. This is entirely untrue. I am sick as a dog - do you think I didn't check the app nonstop? Now have to drive to downtown Austin with no parking while I try not to barf to pick up this prescription - because now they say it can't be delivered until tomorrow. So a literal WEEK since my doctor called in the prescription. This is serious. People go to the hospital for withdrawals of this but I'm poor and tried to get this prescription a WEEK AGO. Good luck getting it changed or moved!!! You need it today? Tomorrow ? Are you sick right now? Too bad! Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Twice now, Capsule has delivered Schedule II controlled medication with missing pills. The first time I received 27 pills instead of 30 and, rather than taking responsibility, they insited the mistake was mine and that they could not replace the missing pills. I explained that I do not need the pills replaced, am meticulous with my medications and that the correct amount had not been delivered, but they essentially shrugged their shoulders. Two months later, it happened again. This time I received 29 pills instead of 30 and, once again, I was assured that I was mistaken. Refusing to be gaslit a second time, I asked how they could explain tablets that were never delivered. I was told their Pharmacy Manager would contact me. After 22 days and multiple follow-ups, Pharmacy Manager Mel finally called. He asked me to explain what had happened and, after I spent all of 15 seconds doing so, sat in complete silence. Eventually I asked, "Are you still there?" His response: "Sorry, I didn't know if I was allowed to speak." It felt less like discussing a serious issue with a Pharmacy Manager and more like speaking with a pouting, immature 12-year-old. I jokingly asked whether I should say "over" at the end of each sentence, to which he replied that it "would be very helpful so I know when to speak." He then offered to transfer my prescription elsewhere. The entire conversation lasted less than 90 seconds. The lack of professionalism and seriousness on display was astonishing, especially considering we were discussing repeated pill count discrepancies involving a Schedule II controlled substance. I would strongly urge people not to trust this company with their health. They cannot count to 30, they refuse to take responsibility when errors are raised, and their own Pharmacy Manager lacks the maturity to handle a basic conversation. If they cannot reliably count pills, why should anyone trust them to ensure the correct dosage or even dispense the correct medication? Most concerning of all, there is still no explanation for the missing tablets. Did Capsule make a counting error? Were there failures in their controls? I still don't know, because nobody at the company appears interested in finding out. Capsule seemed far more concerned with transferring my prescription elsewhere than investigating why this happened twice. Your health and wellbeing are too important to place in the hands of people who treat these issues with such alarming indifference. read more

They assured me that they would get it sorted ASAP. after payment processed they informed me that they would be closed and unable to get me my inhaler for 5 more days.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! My doctor's practice recommended trying Capsule, and I've been using it for appx. one year for delivery of a very common, non-urgent medication, and it has been very easy, no problems. Today was the first-time I had a harder-to-fill prescription which I urgently needed the same day; when I texted, an actual person answered me back right away and worked with me through a process of separating out the order and then arranging a special courier delivery so that I not only got the urgent part of the order delivered on the same day, but in the early afternoon, so I can actually take 3 out of my 4 doses today: I am so impressed. I see others have had less successful experiences, which is why I wanted to report on my experience: it was fantastic. For health reasons, I cannot drive, and as long as I can get this kind of service, I'll be using Capsule! read more

This seemed awesome at first. But I think it's only convenient if you have your deliveries to an office or if you don't have an active schedule. The delivery windows are three hours--requiring you to stay at home waiting. And someone needs to be there. Worse--they often miss these windows! I was excited about the idea of not having to wait in the walgreens pickup line several times a month but Capsule has been hit or miss. I've had 2 instances within 2 weeks of each other where my childrens meds were not in stock. Unlike the big chain pharmacies who are usually able to get the meds in stock the next day, Capsule just cancels your order and tells you to try a different pharmacy. Not very convenient. So far, I haven't seen an option to get meds the same day. The scheduling usually has delivery availability in 1 or 2 days. That's fine for maintenance drugs when I know I have enough to get me through the next few days, but what if I need something right away? I'll give them a few more chances but may need to switch to Amazon or Walmart for home delivery. read more

We've entered 2021 where life is about efficiency and everything is done online now. Forget coming into the pharmacy, have it delivered directly to your door! Communication is done via text, phone, and/or email. You can transfer your prescriptions to Capsule, and/or have your doctor send the scripts over. From there, once they process everything, they'll send you a note stating the item is ready and you'll schedule a day/time for delivery. Note: you must be home for delivery, delivery can even be scheduled for that same day! read more

Delivery had to be taken back to the warehouse. I had my prescription transferred to HEB Pharmacy. HEB pharmacy had to hound them down to fax over my prescription.( HEB pharmacy called them 10 times plus.) Capsule stated four separate times they were faxing over my prescription and never did. HEB had to stay on the phone with them during the most recent phone call to make sure they transferred over my medications. HEB then had trouble with my insurance filling the medication because Capsule stated that I had received my medications (I never did.) so HEB then gave me multiple discounts to purchase my meds without insurance due to capsule not back out of the claim. I paid 15$ to Capsule already for my medications upfront and now am having to pay 35 $ the same medications I never received. I message support to get a refund and no one has reached out. I essentially had to triple the amount I was supposed to for my medications. These medications prevent me from vomit which leads to extreme dehydration and I've already been hospitalized twice in 2 month for this. my medication is the only thing keeping me in decent health and I've been 3 days without it. It has been hell and this experience with Capsule has been less that satisfactor. read more

The absolute worst! A company who promises convenience supplied nothing but inconvenience. My medication was sent to them and they blamed me for not knowing that a script had to be entered into the system at 11 to get it delivered the same day. They just advertised that their delivery hours were til 4 (which I was well in that window). They said that I had to wait until tomorrow to get a med or I could get it transferred to another pharmacy. So I started working on that and capsule was NOT helpful. Their only saving grace was one customer service person who did such a great job. But I believe it has nothing to do with capsule and everything to do with this one person since everyone else was unhelpful. I tried to get my meds transferred to a cvs and it wasn't going through. Capsule kept blaming cvs but it turns out they were faxing a land line. Thank Goodness for that one person who actually listened to me and helped me!!! She was so good, but did not reflect any other person I talked to (and I spoke to a few) at capsule. read more

I didn't even get my meds the doctor sent in because I work 8 to 8 and someone has to be home to get the meds even though I have a lockbox that all my other delivery services use. ALERT: this was anything but a hassle-free experience, and still ended up having to drive to Walgreens to get my prescription. I have a super terrible eye infection. I called the Teladoc yesterday, got prescribed some antibiotics at 7AM, was given the option to use Capsule for "free same-day delivery." Sounds great, right? WRONG. My expected delivery for the prescriptions was then given as the next day between 2PM-5PM. So for starters, that's not same-day. Nonetheless, I accepted it and scheduled my entire day to make sure I was home from 2PM-5PM. What do you know 4:45 rolls around and didn't hear anything and had a meeting to be at by 5:15 (needed to leave the house at 5:05 at the latest). Texted their support, was then given an eta of 5:10. Waited until 5:10, no show. Was then given an ETA of 5:20. Already had to leave my house, and still no show by 5:20. Also keep in mind, someone has to be there to sign for the meds. Was already late to my meeting and then was given an ETA of 5:35. They ended up not being able to deliver them since I wasn't home. So I then had to request them to send it to my pharmacy (which makes this whole process pointless because I could've done that yesterday and gotten the meds day of and not been in excruciating pain for two full days). They tell me they sent it to the pharmacy and to call them for an ETA. Call my pharmacy...they didn't receive any prescriptions. Go back to Capsule support and tell them. They said okay we'll send them again. I said please then call and make sure they get it. They send it again and call and then tell me the pharmacy has it. I text back asking for an ETA, no response. Text back explaining the experience and apologizing for my tone. No response. Then text them saying I now have to go pay at the pharmacy, may I please have a refund. No response. Finally call them and ask for a refund and the support agent says "maybe you'll see it in 5 days." Long story short, do not use them and absolutely do not use them if you have an urgent medical issue. read more

I am blown away by the EASE and SIMPLICITY of this new pharmacy!! But those things aren't the best part of this place. The BEST part is that these guys CARE. Really, really, REALLY care. And it's not just that, either, but it's that they care enough to treat YOU like a person. So many pharmacies these days, UGH, you get the side-eye, the leer, the uneasy look like somehow you're doing something untrustworthy or tacky or shady, when you're JUST getting the medicine your DOCTOR prescribes for you. =P Well, these guys aren't like that. I have never spoken to a pharmacist so sweet and genuine. I've never spoken to a staff so simple and kind. So far, I'm gob-smacked and with gratitude. My hope is that this business, whose tag line is "Smarter, simpler, and kinder" keeps its word and stays just as golden as it currently is! Any pharmacy that wants to engage in emotion (compassion, gentility, warmth) along with doing the one job it's tasked for, filling what you need, turns out to be a unique idea in a seascape of Walgreens, Walmarts, HEBs, CVSs, etc. Who needs the hassle?? Do it this way! Also, you have all the tools you need right at your fingertips with their site! But beyond that, how about free delivery? To your home?? Oh yeah, that's right! I decided to try Capsule when I realized how much I hated waiting with many others in line at Walgreens or CVS to pick up my prescription. From the very beginning it was a great experience! Every interaction I've had with the staff and pharmacists has been positive and they take the time to answer any question that I had regarding my medications. The delivery aspect is great however one day I realized that there was not a delivery slot that worked for me on this particular day so I messaged them and asked if I could just stop in and pickup my medicine.
