In a hurry, I paid more for some methyl B-12 at WFM. A month later, when I was out, I made a trip to Vitamin Shoppe. Their inventory is diverse and deep, so I asked for help in finding what I needed. I found the staff to be most helpful in that regard, showing me my options. I settled on the store brand methyl B-12, which was on a BOHO sale at the time of my visit. As a bonus, the store offered some free fitness magazines, but I was told that at least one of them had some great tips and recipes. I don't know that I'll source all of my vitamin needs here in the future, but, for the specialty items, I certainly will. And I'll keep my eyes open for opportunities to do more business with Vitamin Shoppe.

I was looking for some lip balm that my parents used and which I had taken from their apartment after they died to remember them by. I was running out and stopped by the pharmacy to see if they had anymore that I could buy since it helped me remember them during the grieving process. They didn't have any at the store saying they no longer carried that lip balm and offered me an alternative but when I told them I was looking for that particular one since it reminded me of my departed parents, several staff asked me to wait and they went into their warehouse to see if they could find me any remainders. Luckily they found a few and wouldn't take any compensation for them. You are lucky to have a store like that in Austin with such compassionate staff.

I'm sure one reason they've been around that long is because of the great food a great service. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I've stopped in several times when passing thru Marble Falls and have never been disappointed. They have everything you can think of-- alternative organic vegan health related; even crystals, books--you name it. Also, they have a kitchen that serves up fresh health food daily--what must be the best tasting health food I think I've ever had. This place feels like home. Almost makes me wish I lived in Mineral Wells. Everything is Gluten Free and Dairy Free--even the sweeties. So, if you have any food, allergies or sensitivities, this is the place. They also offer all kinds of health and healing modalities and therapies in the back. I'm usually just passing thru whenever I stop by, so haven't checked out their other services yet, but they do have an online sight where you can find more info. The frozen entree dishes are my fav. Prices are reasonable for this type of fare--except certain supplements I found in the apothecary, I thought are a bit overpriced, IMO. But on the upside--if there's something you need they probably have it. Regular parking is usually no problem with plenty of spaces out front just off Highway 281. If, however, you're like me, pulling a travel trailer or driving a big rig, then the best option is to park on Northwood Drive where there's plenty of free street curb parking available and then take a short walk to the store.
