    Loaded tea menu

We were introduced to bright nutrition by Trufusion South Austin. They were popped up after our Pilates class and giving out sample of their protein donuts. They were incredible! So incredible that we ended up driving to their store front after class. I am currently on a ketogenic diet so their low carb/low sugar items caught my eye. I have a huge sweet tooth so Im always trying to find ways to satisfy it. The storefront was super cute, trendy and the service was great! I ordered a cotton candy flavored loaded tea and my partner ordered the Florida sunrise with an order of protein donuts. It was honestly extremely hard to make a decision. Everything looked and sounded so good! The cotton candy tea was DELICIOUS, and my partner had many good things to say about his choice as well. We will definitely be returning in the future! I can't wait to try the rest of the flavors!

TLDR: They sell protein shakes and pre-workout. This isn't a casual lunch spot. If you go in knowing that then they have tasty shakes and would be a great pick me up after hard workout. -- The concept for this cafe is interesting but I feel the location is not great, and the way they describe it is a little misleading. It's not a heathy cafe in the sense that they sell organic non-artificial whole vegetables or natural fair trade teas etc. They sell curated versions of protein smoothies, protein bars/cookies, pre-workout caffeinated drinks (or teas as they call them). If this shop were right next to a 24 hour fitness or CrossFit gym I could see them getting good business from people needing a post or pre workout supplement- but in its current location I don't think many people would drive here out of their way from the gym. These shakes/snacks sure beat the powder you mix in a cup in your gym bag so I wish it was closer to a gym! The cafe staff was super friendly, and the inside is cute. The waffle wasn't bad (tastes like they added whey protein to a waffle) and the shakes were hit or miss. The caramel one was tasty, I didn't like the birthday cake flavor, but it's a shake loaded with protein powder (I'm pretty sure pea protein) sweetened with artificial sweetener to keep calories low. The teas are a lot like pre-workout powders- loaded with caffeine, vitamins, etc. I was a little disappointed they called them teas because they were closer to being an energy drink. My recommendation to the business would be call it what it is- a cafe that sells supplements and protein shakes- so that people who are looking for that can easily find it and know it's there. I'd also recommend they get very transparent about what protein powders and supplements they put in their shakes/teas/foods- people will want to know if it's high quality given how unregulated those products are. I don't think calling this a heath cafe paints the whole picture- I know we walked in expecting something different. But If you're heavy into fitness or bodybuilding I'd recommend stopping by!

So glad I stopped here! Very cute interior, I would definitely bring a friend on a day date here. All the smoothie choices were amazing, I went with the Churro! Trying to stay healthy so I didn't add the whipped cream and toppings. Looking at the menu they have so many options and they all sound delicious so I will definitely be back!

Green smoothie bowl . Not too sweet . Healthy option for lunch.

I have tried almost all coffee shops in South Austin in the last 2 weeks and this one is by far the best. First, and foremost, amazing staff. They have been so welcome to me every time and I can see how well they have treated every customer who walked in. They knew most of them by name. Secondly, LOOOVE the gluten free sweets here. Thirdly, the place is bright and clean. Got fast WiFi and great decorations and seating. They are open every day!

Banana coconut smoothie bowl, lemon cake shake

I found a flyer for Bright Nutrition on my car, noticed it was less than a mile away from my gym, and ordered immediately. I had to call the order in since there is no way to order online quite yet. This is something I would love to see implemented soon. As for the snacks, they were great. I enjoyed the Lemon Cake shake but it is not one I would order again. The Banana Coconut smoothie bowl, on the other hand, was everything I was hoping it would be. It was flavorful and surprisingly filling. I would absolutely order one after a workout in the future.

Stopped in on the elite week opportunity they had and was so impressed and enjoyed it thoroughly! My son and I tried the protein waffle, the açaí smoothie bowl and the Captain America tea. As a mom that sounded like a lot of sugar to me for first thing in the morning but the great part was the drink could be made sugar free and the waffle was mostly protein. The decor is super cute and lots of different areas to sit in including a bar shelf on the window, a couch and chairs area and small booths along the back wall. They have daily weekday specials and all the staff was so superbly friendly! Includes punch card rewards and social media accounts you can follow. Will definitely keep it on my radar and thanks again for the opportunity to try it!

Everything was amazing! The drinks, vibe, and customer service was great! The cashier was so sweet and gave me a $2 off coupon for next time, I got a mint chip shake & blackberry lemonade tea.

Guilt free sweets! This place is super cute and serves heathy protein filled sweets that don't make you feel guilty about cravings. I tried the banana bread protein shake by suggestions of the employees and it was delicious! It wasn't too sweet and tasted pretty spot on to actually banana bread

Just another Herbalife front. Absolutely nuts to pay $8 for an MLM drink. A refresher at Starbucks will do you better.

Friendly cashier when I placed my order, which was an iced chi tea latte with oat milk. I don't normally drink oat milk, but it is what it is. The chi was weak. I'm not sure what they made me. Chi should have some spicy like flavor. Was more like weak watered down tea, nothing chi about it. Pro's, they're open late. I think we were there until 10pm and they also service alcohol.

I did all three. I started out with a Franzbrötchen, a German style cinnamon roll, and a cortado. Both were a great start while waiting for one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a while. The sandwich I chose comes with bacon, beer cheese, fluffy eggs, and Russian dressing on a beautifully toasted Bavarian croissant. I also had to try a side of their duck fat potatoes, fried golden brown with smoked duck fat, whipped confit garlic butter, and fresh thyme. This was an excellent meal with great service, and I would highly recommend checking them out if you're ever in the area.

The staff were all attentive and nice; the table decor was obviously DIY crafted but it was still cute and creative! The flavor was severely lacking in all of our entrees. The portions were also really small, like, almost Lunchables-sized. My friend ordered Kiki's cake and it was pretty dry. There was not a non-chocolate option, as someone who hates it, which was fine. I was going to give my friend the other dessert but they were able to sub it for a pastry from the counter. The drinks, however, were very well done. I would love to see those as regular staples on the menu. Even though the calcirita was incredibly smoky, like, "coal in your lungs"-type sensation, it was at least still on theme. I would suggest doing cocktail that can be temporarily lit on fire or it comes in a glass dome with a "smoke-like" effect instead if repeating the theme. I will consider coming back one more time for their regular menu but I don't know that it was worth driving down again soon.
