This location is very close to where I go for yoga and soundbaths and I must say that it comes in clutch every time I need a quick bite or smoothie. The service is always great and the atmosphere is always nice, fresh air and all. I was having one of those blasé Tuesdays but after walking into Juiceland on South Congress, my Tuesday evening went from blasé to everything extraordinary. I was greeted by a young lady named Hali who was vivacious, delightful and enthusiastic. I started out only curious and indecisive and then walking out with samples and a special smoothie made just for me! If your managers are reading this , please give Hali and Sawyer a huge raise. These two ladies made my day and were so kind and compassionate. I REALLY needed it so thank you so much !!! This used to be my go-to snack stop after traveling out in the boonies of West Austin. I love the drive-through feature as when I visited in the evenings around rush hour the lines were non-existent. The service was solid and the drive-thru personnel did not make it difficult for me to order. I love the wide variety of flavors and offerings that you can pair with the smoothies. Wild Child is my favorite. This is a good location because they aren't hesitant to bring your order out quickly and it feels like "fast" service. read more

I'm really sad that Juiceland never seemed to have recovered from the situation. The server was absolutely ignorant about the menu and no help. The smoothie bowls are not filling enough or with flavor enough. They served maybe one piece of strawberry chopped up into 7-8 small pieces in a bowl where that was the only main fruit. The furniture is quite uncomfortable to sit for a conversation. This particular location might be better for the drive through window. read more

Pretty bummed out about an experience I had here recently. I put my order in online so I could stop by and grab it on my way to work. When I pulled into the parking lot, I noticed they were installing a drive-thru station (nice!). There were a couple folks who looked like they were physically putting the station together and one woman who looked to be observing. I walked into the store, a couple customers waiting for their drinks to be made and a couple employees in the back making drinks. There was no one at the counter, so I just stood there patiently. Well the woman who was outside observing walked into the business several times but never behind the counter. I thought maybe she's the contractor and doesn't actually work here. So I continue standing there patiently. The third or fourth time she comes into the building, she does go behind the counter and answers the phone... signifying to me that she does, in fact, work there. So I guess this chick saw me standing there for my health and didn't offer to help or ask what I was waiting on. Yikes. To make matters just a little worse... while she was on the phone, someone emerged from the back to the front counter. She pointed to two juice bottles that were sitting on the counter, and with an attitude, asks me "are you waiting for those?" Come on people. If I were waiting for the drinks that are so obviously sitting on the counter, I wouldn't be standing there. So I responded, "no, I ordered ______." And then she realized what a silly question she asked me, went to the refrigerator where my drink was, and handed it to me. She did say for me to have a good day with the same attitude as before, and I told her the same, but COME ON. Attitudes like this one won't keep customers coming back. JuiceLand is one of my favorite places in Austin, spending summers here has taught me that nothing fights the battle with 100+ degree weather better than a cold smoothie bowl. I love the Honey Beary Bowl and like to add Pea Protein, their house-made granola is delicious and all the ingredients are so fresh. This location has a drive thru which seemed useful for those on the way to work--we chose to order and eat inside and the service was quick and friendly as it always is at JuiceLand. I always get my smoothies from here and never go wrong with them. I decided to try an Açaí bowl (got the regular one) and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. What a nice surprise! We hopped over from Halal Guys for a refreshing dessert and Juiceland provided. The cashier was very knowledgeable on all of the drinks and had lots of great suggestions. We ended up getting the berry godmother (large $10) and it did NOT disappoint! It had fresh pineapple juice, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, goji berry, and camu camu. I'll admit the prices were a bit steep, but what can one expect when you're getting fresh veggies and fruits! Not familiar with the other locations in Austin, but I'll have to say that this location's aesthetic is on point. They had an array of gifts and things for souvenirs or for yourself if you're a hardcore juiceland lover! They also have a lovely open picnic area that's shaded right outside! SO expensive. Also, the drive thru pickup situation is a hot mess. I have had to wait 10+ minutes after the pickup time on multiple occasions. Today, I had to pull around and get back in line twice to let others go AFTER my pIckup time. Half the time it takes 5 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge you're at the pickup window because they removed their bell. The smoothies are blended well and delicious 80% of the time but that's not a great ratio given the cost and hippie-level inefficiency at the pickup window.
