The girl at the window was very nice. I have not been here in a while but there is a "new to me" ordering spot. You used to order on the side of the building and then wait to pick up at the window. Now, you order as you turn the corner (IYKYK). This seems like a better spot. If the line gets too long this would allow them to get working on orders. read more

Today, I ordered the Wild Child. It was ok but I wanted to give the employee at the drive thru window 5 stars. She was so cheerful and genuinely seemed to enjoy her job. I don't see that very often nowadays so it was refreshing...like my drink. I even noticed the gentleman behind me ordering at the speaker. He must have been a regular. My fiancé & I love Juiceland! Their smoothies are not only healthy but delicious as well. My favorite is the Wunderschowzen, and my fiancé likes the honey beary. The raspberry rendezvous is also solid, and their wheatgrass shots are really good too. YES. I am LIVING for this location. I've been to the Westgate Juiceland (my usual) and the one on Lake Austin, but this location has the largest interior I've been in yet! Their indoor mural is amazing. AND I can't get over the delicious smell of freshness and juices the moment I walked in. There is PLENTY of space. Large picnic tables, smaller tables...everything and anything for large families and groups. I would love to hang out here, especially since their AC is a godsend...especially now that summertime is officially here in Austin. I love that their menu is ginormous and is easy to read. I got their Blue Hullabaloo here (blue majik represent!), but was totally torn between getting all of their other smoothies or an acai bowl. They also serve overnight oats, wraps, and salads here too. You can basically get any health food you want here. The wifi is strong, and as with all Juicelands...the service is wonderful, friendly, and fast. GET THIS: They have a drive-through window here. WHAT! This is amazing. They also have an old school arcade game here as well as chess, a little play area for kiddos, and a binder featuring local companies/entrepreneurs. I've never not been a JuiceLand fan, so much that I feel that I should buy the t-shirt and wear it whenever I go for a smoothie. They are just so ding dang good. The last time I went into this location was March 13, 2020. I remember because my hb and I went in early to grab smoothies before heading into the office (we each work at UT and "carpool" together on days I don't take the bus). Before heading in for our Wondershowzens (our fave, and the Thursday special smoothie), we each got the notification not to come in to work, unless we were essential personnel. It really put a damper on our morning, but not on the smoothies. The Juiceland staff were already in masks and gloves, and cleaning a lot. I popped in again to use the drive-thru on a recent Thursday, and dang: super long line for the Wondershowzens! This is kind of great to see, although next time I will use the curbside ordering option so I can turn off my car's engine while I wait. Honestly, the line was super long but they way they have their drive-thru configured it's not so bad. And I was thrilled to accept a free beet juice they offered!! The cashier was actually dancing and gave a solid "woo" for Wondershowzen Thursday. I was so excited, I looked up a beet juice and ginger martini recipe, but then I just drank the juice. This Juiceland location is now the closest to my house (not close enough!), so I've been hitting it up more often than the other locations. They have a drive-through, for those times you have pets along, but the inside experience is more rewarding, frankly. I love opening the door to the olfactory blast of fresh fruits and vegetables, and enjoying their music selection while I wait for my smoothie. That alone will do wonders for your mood and energy levels. The staff is young and hip, friendly, and helpful with recommendations. Get a free reward points account going ASAP, so you can get treats like free shots or a few bucks off your smoothie, because making Juiceland a regular habit can get expensive. Wheat grass and Yerba Matte shots are a helpful jolt on a day when I'm dragging, in addition to one of their fabulous smoothie concoctions. You can have them turn any smoothie into a bowl, with fruit on top, for an extra $2. Check out their monthly smoothie selection that donates half the cost to a revolving charity of their choice, and feed your social conscience along with your belly and soul. I strongly recommend: Power Plant Smoothie - for Energy Tastes like mangos / the earthy green flavor of spirulina, but with a strong sometimes overwhelming bitter taste of the yerba mate (South American tea that is brewed Strong!) hence the Energy of the drink. I recommend stirring it with the straw before drinking...if you've never tried it before. OR Wundershowzen Smoothie - for Protein Tastes like coconut & peanut butter. I buy a small fresh made celery juice about once a week and it is very good. I have them put it in a medium cup so they can add ice. A couple of days ago I went and the price had gone from $6.50 to $7.85. I asked why did the price jump up; the man at the counter said that they had increased the portion size. I go to a heck of a lot of places and this isn't always true! My favorite smoothie is the wundershowzen - love the extra kick of peanut butter. The quinoa is very good for lunch too! All good Juice/Smoothies are pricey so no complaints about that! I've never had a drink I didn't enjoy here. Definitely check it out! I realize now by looking at the website, but the Daily Special board at the register doesn't make it clear that you are getting an 18 oz for 14 oz price - I thought it was just the same price as the menu which was confusing. I ended up ordering the carrot/ginger special when I saw that 50% of profits were going towards a refugee center - very cool! The employee asked me what size, and I said 'regular' which I know isn't very clear. The total rang up as 8.61 and so when I walked away and checked the menu prices and it looks like that was the total for the largest size incl. tax. I figured it was strange that she rang me up for a large, because I would think 'regular' would be either the small or medium.. but oh well, I figured, I'd enjoy the extra smoothie.
