Wonky Blends is an acai/smoothie food truck serving different types of smoothies and acai bowls. My boyfriend and I went for a refreshing brunch snack and ordered two different acai bowls and they were HUGE!! I was shocked about the size. The fruit was fresh and acai was delicious. My only complaint would be that the bowls had full cashews and almonds in its granola mix, which I am not used to! Other than that though, so delicious! The food truck was in a nice area with other food trucks around as well, giving a nice selection of food/beverage options. There was only one worker in the truck, but service was amazing and the lady working was incredibly nice. Would definitely visit again! read more

I recently introduced my boyfriend to acai bowls, and we're trying to try all the good spots in town! This is right next to the famous food truck spot, so it's such a great snack after some tacos and coffee. We shared the dragon fruit bowl because we were really full from lunch, and it was such a large size bowl for the price. I do think it was more on the bland side because dragon fruit isn't a very flavorful fruit, so we should've opted for the acai instead. I love how much fruit and toppings they add because that's usually the issue with acai bowls--you end up with too much smoothie. Staff is so friendly! read more

Stationed in the Thicket Food Park and owned and operated by a friendly couple, it was a pleasure getting to try out this "wonky" drink spot. Their drink blends and aesthetic are eclectic and fun, and definitely aligned with their price tag (competitive with Juiceland - After all, we're worth investing in, no?) I had the chance to try the Halva smoothie, which had a largely black sesame heavy flavor profile with little, delicious chunks of dates throughout. It was refreshing and filling! This smoothie and juice truck is at the Thicket food truck park in South Austin. It's a really lovely space with lots of food options and beautiful outdoor seating under a little canopy of trees. There's plenty of parking as well. I love the marketing and branding of Wonky Blends and have seen them a bunch of instagram, so I definitely wanted to try it while I was at the food truck park. Service was very nice, especially since it was a 90 degree day and they were right under the hot sun. The lady in the truck answered all my questions. Brainstorm Smoothie ($12.95) - they only have a couple smoothies and this pear and almond butter flavor would stood out to me. The pear flavor is very subtle and it mostly tastes like a light almond butter smoothie. It's very filling and the texture is a little bit gritty. The look of it (the coloring and the almond butter swirl) is very pretty. I would love to see a more citrus-y vitamin C smoothie option in the future, since that's my personal preference in smoothie flavors, but this was still delightful and I enjoyed it. read more

The staff was super friendly and really pushing their special of the day which was a green watermelon smoothie so had to have it. We will definitely coming back to try more of their juices.
