I am based out of Los Angeles and I had never been to Austin so as I was looking for an amazing production caterer I came to yelp for some direction. After much research, I was stuck between Harvey and another caterer. Ultimately I chose to originally go with another company but continued to keep Harvey in mind because of his detailed quote and good vibes. After the first day with the other caterer, my whole crew insisted that I find a different caterer for multiple reasons. With my client, Riddell, it was imperative that the food was not only delicious but that the presentation was impeccable. With less than 24 hours, I was in a panic to find a new caterer for the next 7 days of the job. I immediately reached out to Harvey and explained the situation. He was so kind and understanding about it all. After some discussion, he agreed to cater lunch the next day, promising amazing food with decor that will blow me away. You can imagine my hesitation after my previous experience.... Not only did Harvey get to the studio early to set the serving table, but he went above and beyond to match the decor to the theme of the shoot! He had Riddell red accents, custom signs, flowers, tiny boards that named the different entrees.... It was amazing. And the food... out of this world good! And very healthy! My crew left lunch in high spirits, ready to take on the rest of the day! I went on to hire Harvey and the team for the next 7 days for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They were always on time, answered all my calls/texts, went through the menu with me for each day and welcomed changes along the way, stayed within my budget, and overall was just such a pleasure to work with. In my line of work, I don't get to meet and work with such amazing, caring, personable vendors. By the end of the week Harvey and I became friends. Through long, stressful shoot days, Harvey's presence and conversation lifted my spirits and his food helped me get through late shoot days.
