We popped in here to try a new local spot. The staff was super friendly when we walked in and gave us some great recommendations based on some questions of what we like in our coffee. They offered us pastries, we tried the pistachio Nutella swirl that they warmed up, it was delicious! Not overly sweet with great flavors. For coffee we tried their garden party which was more of a floral profile and their drip coffee. The place had a lot of people there ranging from people working on computers to just chatting and catching up. It was super inviting with lots of seating and lots of beverage options! Would be a great place to come and work if you're looking for a change of scenery from the office.
I was passing through Pflugerville and decided to stop and search for a coffee place. West Pecan Coffee popped up, and I remembered I'd visited here once before, but a few years ago. I couldn't recall if I liked the place or not, so I decided to swing by. The coffeeshop is a really nice size, and the décor, furniture, and seating arrangement were really good. Plenty of room for students, tired souls, or just about anyone. They seemed to like their Merch there, as it was everywhere. I ordered a simple Latte along with a Bacon & Egg sandwich. There weren't many people in there, maybe two, so I could sit and relax a while. It took a long time for my drink to get served, so was looking forward to tasting their coffee. This was a big letdown. The coffee itself was lukewarm and lacked any sort of rich flavor, as if there was barely any espresso in there at all. After an even longer wait, my sandwich was brought out, which sealed all my thoughts on the place. The sandwich was barely warm; there was a thick piece of cheese on there that wasn't even melted (I presume due to the lack of heat). I can't even remember if I finished either of the things I ordered, but I quickly packed up and left. This was the reason I didn't remember the place as its coffee and food are forgettable. It's a shame as the location, size, and décor all work well. I will not be returning.
I was invited to this adorable coffee shop. I loved it the second I pulled into the parking lot. It was so cute inside, with big and small comfortable couches and chairs. I loved the various seating arrangements. There were so many different styles, you had your choice. Also, I loved that the color scheme was mostly white with drops of color. I loved the green sofa, it's a really beautiful place. I ordered the Pecan Sunrise, and I sure taste the orange bourbon, which is a good thing. The girl at the counter swayed me in that direction, and I'm happy she did. I ordered a buttery pastry that melted my taste buds. It was the perfect light, fluffy pastry, very easy to pull apart, revealing a moist, buttery inside. Not to mention a guitarist was there performing sweet melodies. Also, they have a nice, shaded patio with beautiful items decorating the side of the building and a huge, gorgeous mural. It's honestly the place to be on a Saturday at noon, kicking off the day.
Super cute little hipster vibes coffee shop in downtown Pflugerville. Service was fast and very friendly. Ginger Pear scone and Nutella pistachio bun are delicious warmed up. Coffee is on point. This place is always packed and poppin' and I can see why. Downside is not a lot of parking so come early! For my taste it is a bit pricey (comparable to Starbucks) but that's due to me mostly making lots of coffee at home. I would come here again to try different pastries and some of their signature coffee flavors.
As a local business, West Pecan Coffee has nailed everything you want in a neighborhood coffee shop- great coffee, plenty of space to spread out and work, and a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The coffee is consistently great, and it's nice that they also serve beer and wine for when you want to transition from work mode to unwind mode. Highly recommend supporting this local business.
Grew up Pflugerville so getting a cute hip coffee shop has been a nice surprise for the area. Tried their Vietnamese coffee and it's far from the traditional taste. It was fine but wouldn't order again. Also got their breakfast sandwich and it was just okay. For how much I paid I was a little disappointed in the quality. If I was staying I'd say I'm paying for the vibes but that wasn't the case. Would give them another shot. Service was pleasant.

We got a cranky granny's cinnamon roll (another great local spot you should try!) and a garden party iced latte to go. Can't speak to the service because we weren't acknowledged when we walked in but they all seemed to be in good spirits!

LOCATION AND SERVICE: It's a quaint cafe located in the middle of downtown Pflugerville with several parking spaces in front of it. Staff were not friendly as no one really said hi to you or smiled. The wait was too long for no good reason. One of the staff members took forever to take care of the customer in front of us; she didn't seem to know what she was doing or what the customer was asking DRINKS AND BAKED GOODS: We ordered PECAN SUNRISE and just simple ICED COFFEE and neither were drinkable! My husband and I had two sips of each and had to discard them. Their iced coffee was a step down from water with (barely) coffee flavor. We were so excited about their housemade pecan milk bourbon orange zest reduction, but the taste of it reminded me the cheap artificial coffee syrup at an office cafeteria. Also, we didn't get latte art on our Pecan Sunrise which was another letdown! The only saving grace here was the cardamom bun & honey lavender bun which weren't made by them. Thus, we see no reason to come back. VERDICT: We still don't understand why this place was packed with people sitting around using their computers and paying almost $8 for a cup of coffee that tasted as bad as the free cheap coffee offered (for free) at public places or healthcare facilities that we normally turndown.
I stopped by for breakfast and got the honey nut latte, and the breakfast sandwich with bacon. My drink was so delicious. Same with the sandwich. The ambiance is also really lovely with the assortment of plants and decor. Customer service is also great. Will definitely be back!

Ordered an everything nice with an extra shot and a lavender honey pastry. The coffee was solid smooth even with an extra shot, pastry was good not as good as I hoped but it was still good. I think I was thinking it was going to be more flaky less like bread but it was made beautifully and had a delicate flavor. I ordered a flat white to go for someone else, but they have me a late instead and I didn't have time to swap it out unfortunately
I've been to West Pecan Coffee once years ago, and I remember liking the vibe and the coffee. I finally visited again today, and I love the community and vibe of this coffee shop. There are so many people coming in and chatting, sipping on coffee, and listening to a local artist sing and play the guitar. My boyfriend and I got the Something Nice latte, and it was delicious. I love how large the coffee cup size is, and I even got the regular size! Even after the milk dilutes, it's still a really creamy latte. There's a little bit of spice/seasoning in the latte, and it's just a really solid choice.

Really enjoyed this place! Nice coffee shop with a bright, pleasant interior and a relaxed atmosphere. There's plenty of seating inside, so it's a good place to meet someone, work on your laptop, or just enjoy a coffee without feeling cramped. I really liked the cappuccino. You can actually taste the coffee rather than just milk, and the roast is smooth and not overly bitter. The almond pastry was also delicious. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It can get a little noisy during the day when the place is busy, but that's pretty normal for a popular coffee shop. "What is Pecan Milk?" It's a question I thought but didn't ask the barista working the busy West Pecan Coffee + Beer last Sunday. I wanted to try a new coffee shop without driving too far out of the way, and I saw good things on Yelp and beyond on West Pecan, so I decided I'd give it a shot. The spot is cute, just right on the outskirts of downtown Pflugerville. There's a small parking lot, but plenty of additional street parking nearby. There's a cozy patio out front and a decent amount of seating inside, but West Pecan was hopping around 12:30 when I walked in. This led to me getting one of the last few seats on a cozy chair that remained. I heard their Pecan Sunrise was the best thing they had, so I asked the very friendly barista working what the deal was. She said it was an oat-milk-based latte with pecan milk, sweet bourbon, and orange zest. She recommended it iced, so I got it iced. It wasn't long at all until my drink was ready. I enjoyed it inside while reading and thought it was pretty alright. None of the flavors personally stuck out to me, but I thought it was quite drinkable. It was supposed to be Old Fashioned-esque, but it just tasted like a coffee with a moody undertone. Maybe it's more pronounced hot. West Pecan has a great atmosphere with solid music on their speakers and a great team behind the bar, burning through the Sunday afternoon crowd's never-ending orders. Stopped in while I was in town and wanted to try a seasonal latte. The cashier was nice and explained the featured drinks I asked about. The latte was foamed well but the syrup flavor was just ok ( $8.39 before tip). I also waited 17 minutes for my drink as others went out ahead. I watched as they realized they forgot to make mine but when I finally asked about it, they just said it was next - no explanation. Pros: quite a bit of seating and parking. read more

This place was pretty busy when I got there around 9:30 AM. Not many places to sit, so had to be a good sign. The staff was super fast with my order. The kolache was mid, but the cinnamon roll was superb. The coffee was good here and made perfect. Looks like a cool spot to come hang out though and will definitely come back. read more

My favorite cafe in Pflugerville. Oh my the honey lavender bread. Do not skip! I love the Vietnamese coffee from here as well. There are different kinds of spots to sit throughout the entire cafe. Lots of great natural light that comes in from the front wall being all doors and windows. Great place to come and get some work done. It does get fairly busy, but it isn't very loud in there and the service is fast and friendly. They're very happy to help narrow down the many choices they offer. They also have games and books that you can use while there. My only complaint is the very limited parking, but there is a lot of easy street parking and other lots that are close, walking distance to park. They often have mini farmers markets in their parking lot and they tend to have someone preforming on those days as well. read more
Great spot! Music was a little loud if you want to read a book but they had great music playing. They have many different options for Comfortable seating! I loved how big the selection was from Coffee and Teas. They have a limited beer and wine list but the selection is delicious. When I went it was very busy but I still got my food and drink in under 8 minutes. Definitely recommend the honey Lavendar bun. Flavor is perfect not super sweet or over powering flavor! read more
Cute coffee shop in the downtown area. They have a lot of latte flavors on the menu right now for the season and it was hard deciding what to pick. I went with an iced Pecan Sunrise. I couldn't pass up the pecan milk bourbon orange zest reduction syrup. You can get lavender and vanilla flavors pretty much anywhere, but this sounded truly unique so I had to try it. It has oatmilk and I think that made it taste extra creamy and decadent. I would definitely go back for another one! Prices are what you'd expect these days at coffee shops. They did have a lot of other non-coffee options on the menu and they also sell some pastry items too. The space inside was rather large (they have some outside seating as well.) I did see a few people working on laptops, but on this Saturday morning, it seemed like a place people were meeting up to chat rather than a place to try to get work done hehe. read more

Coffee an cardamom bun were ok, def kinda watered down. Kinda pricey. Not sure if its worth a return with their prices. No reason to charge people a whole dollar for alternative milk. Service and ambiance was decent. Space is tight. read more
GREAT LOCAL COFFEE SHOP. I'm here from out of town and put together a little pastry crawl for myself. This is stop one and the honey lavender bun is 100/10. The cashier was very friendly and suggested a less rich coffee to go with it so I could fully enjoy the pastry on its own. This seems like a place the locals love and had a great sense of community. The sage and rosemary syrup is worth a try. read more

There's plenty of seating available inside and out so it's a great spot to catch up with friends or get some work done! FAST FACTS: * Parking - there's a parking lot in front and nearby street parking available * Dog friendly - yes! * Seasonal drinks offered throughout the year * Full wine and beer selection * Pecan Street Collective (vendor market and fair in the parking lot) - first Saturday of each month from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm SERVICE - The baristas always greet you with a smile and are so pleasant as they take your order! PRICING - Pretty standard for an upscale coffee shop... a basic cappuccino will run you $3.75, a latte will run you $4.75, flavored syrups will add $0.75, and milk alternatives will add $1.00. Pastries range from $3.75 - $6.00 and sandwiches are just under $7.00. GINGERBREAD LATTE (9/10) - Delicious! This was a seasonal offering in December and January and had the perfect amount of sweetness. I subbed almond milk and enjoyed every sip! Some of my other favorites here include: * Pecan Sunrise - this is their specialty! * Churro Mocha * Pizza Panini * Cinnamon Coffee Cake I will continue coming here whenever I get the chance for dates with friends, my husband, and solo work sessions! West Pecan is a Pflugerville staple for a reason!! Delicious drinks, fun food, awesome atmosphere, and bubbly baristas make this my favorite coffee shop in the area The drinks are so good and they have seasonal options I've never seen anywhere else. I appreciate the amount of no caffeine options they have as well. You can get any of the caffeine free teas either hot or iced and I LOVE that the caffeine free tea is offered iced. That's not always an option. The coffee is also very good and the espresso is consistently good and not burnt. The ambiance is very cute. Lots of plants all over the place, they also have board games and books to borrow while you stay. I appreciate how much seating they have as this is a pretty busy location. The patio seating is also a welcome addition for nice spring or fall days. Everyone who works here rocks. They are all the best. I cannot shout out just one person because everyone i have ever met here (which has been quite a few over the years) are so nice even when there's a line out the door. I love west pecan coffee so much. Great place to hang out, work from, invite people to a coffee date at. read more

My husband and I moved to Pflugerville about 2 years ago and we finally tried this place for the first time today. Food: I had the breakfast sandwich. It was good! Ambiance: It gets pretty busy quickly, so I noticed it can get kind of loud. I wasn't bothered by it, just thought I'd note that for anyone that prefers something more low key. I loved that they have board games and a kids corner. They're also women owned! They also allow service animals. Other things to note about the ambiance: the decor & shopping shelves! They had lots of cute Knick Knacks for purchase! The outside is nice & clean too! Service: Our drinks were made fairly quickly and the cashier was also nice. They have a pretty good description of what ingredients their coffee drinks consist of. All in all, I'd definitely come back. I can't wait to try more of their pastries next time. read more

Cute coffee shop to work from in downtown pflugerville! Drinks are pretty good, however the winner is actually the baked goods section with the most incredible honey lavender bun I've ever had. I think about it all the time and am yet to find one like it. Major con is that they close at 4pm which is so confusing since they also serve beer but I'd go back for that lavender bun any time! read more

Very popular Pflugerville coffee shop! I have visited twice (once on a Saturday morning + once on a weekday morning) both times were very busy but there was ample amount of space for me to setup my laptop. They have very unique drinks (and brews lol) -- their matcha is REAL MATCHA. It tasted so earthy and rich. best I've had so far in Austin. I also tried their turmeric latte -- it was okay, I mean it probably is just turmeric milk. lol. Very nice place to co-work, meet a friend to chat, or enjoy unique experiences. read more
